  1. Ran into the same problem everyone else is; the minidungeon is bugged for me too. I'm really surprised that Anet put this into the daily rotation when it's been like this since EoD launched. šŸ˜•
  2. I've been experiencing random crashes too, for the last few days (since last patch, I think). It sometimes happens after a few minutes successively and then doesn't seem to be a problem for hours. I was wondering if it was just me or not but it seems like more people are having the same problem. :x Actually, I should clarify that my game just lags out and then disconnects from the server, returning me to the character select screen. So it seems like it's a different problem on my end, sorry. ^^;
  3. Just replying because I had this problem the last few days. I tried to contact CS but they weren't able to help... so I decided to investigate it on my own. I could log into the game no problem and I could log into the sites on my mobile phone... but not on my PC, so I figured it must be a problem specific to my PC (client-side) rather than Anet (server-side). It turns out that my antivirus, Bitdefender, was blocking certain websites that were hosing javascripts used for the login forms, making the form fail on submission. I tried to add them as exclusions but I think there's too many URLs to add (or the free edition of Bitdefender doesn't handle exclusions very well) so I ended up just uninstalling Bitdefender altogether and I was instantly able to log in again. It's possible Bitdefender had a recent update or something, idk. Either way, I'm using something else now. :\

  5. Iā€™m glad everyone seemed to have gotten their codes! Itā€™s fairly suspicious that Gameliebe prematurely ends the sale by accusing ArenaNet of not providing them with enough codes, thus unable to ā€œkeep up with demandā€ but have no problem selling codes at full price. If they actually did sell out and restock codes, that means ArenaNet was able to quickly send them moreā€¦ so what exactly is the problem? Why not continue the sale? I think Gameliebe is just bowing out before they get any more bad reviews/press and shifting the blame to someone else. Even if they really canā€™t handle the load, itā€™s still sad they have to resort to finger-pointing instead of accepting full responsibility. Judging by everyoneā€™s issues, Gameliebe has a pretty poor system for both sending out codes and dealing with customer service. Whatever the reason, I definitely would avoid them from now on. I canā€™t believe customer service didnā€™t know it was a retailer mentioned in an ongoing sale either, regardless if it was approved or notā€¦ I meanā€¦ really? šŸ˜“ /facepalm

  7. Gamecardsdirect also seems really sketchy too, to be honest. I looked them up on trustpilot and thereā€™s a lot of reviews from people who bought Google Play and Paysafecards who either didnā€™t receive their cards/codes or received codes that didnā€™t work (already used, incomplete/partial codes, etc). Codes may be delayed for 1-5 days in some cases, depending on payment validation; many payment methods seem to take a long time to be validated (1-5 days) and payment methods often donā€™t go through at all. Even in the instances where it could have been an honest mistake on the reviewerā€™s part (or not at all in the case of payment validation delays), the replies from Gamecardsdirect are often really passive aggressive and tend to blame the reviewer. In one negative review where someone said they never received their money, Gamecardsdirect said the payment was sent ā€œ2 minutes laterā€ and apologized for ā€œthe small delay.ā€ šŸ¤Ø Thereā€™s more positive reviews than negative but it still makes me feel pretty weary about shopping there. Especially since I didnā€™t find it listed on the approved retailer list. (I know it being officially advertised should make it safe but itā€™s still weird itā€™s not there. :x) I really want to participate in the 20% off sale but all of these vendors look really sketchy. šŸ˜ž
  8. I remember there used to be achievements way back when the game launched for viewing in-game hints. Youā€™d get AP for viewing all the hints for doing stuff like reviving downed players, using waypoints, etc. It was removed from the game in the original ā€œnew player experienceā€ in September 2014... I wonder if itā€™s going to be something like that, but better? It sounds like it, anyway. :) Hope itā€™s successful and it doesnā€™t stop at just early levels ā€” people can definitely benefit from this sort of thing from expansions too, what with level 80 boosts existing and all.
  9. It'd be hilarious if they use little festive skritt models for other players; it'd fit the theme of scrambling to the top to get shiny presents. xD
  10. I love them too! My only complaint is that they missed out on a great opportunity to have a giant flaming pumpkin ball to roll around on for the Roller Beetle. Would be epic!
