I'd rather see the current condi Mirage fixed before making power viable.

Seeing how spear is a direct upgrade to greatsword for virtuoso i don't think they care about it anymore.

If you are not traiting mirrored axes then that trait would be wasted because it didn't scale with quickness.

This has been happening to me since the expansion launched. Music randomly cuts out and even dialogue in cutscenes does the same. Not that big of a deal for me but just wanted to post it anyway. The option has been removed and now that i read this it might be what's happening to me.

Mirage gets another nothingburger pvp buff that if it overperforms will leak its nerf back into all the gamemodes. Or is just an axe buff overall in pvp, because axe is not a real weapon if not traited.

I can't wait to whine about it, please give me the notes.

For Mirage yes. Specially for open world it outshined staff by a mile, being a bit burstier and still getting to cap might thanks to the relic of the midnight king. For wvw you ran celestials with it so it was condi too and it worked thanks to the relic of the demon queen stacking poison with improved heal cut. Stuff that is basically dead now.

Also the phantasms from spear 5 proc fencer's finesse. Pretty weird.

Karma hit them for fixing the tokens from the adventures without fixing how little you get from the whole map.

Dagger Mirage dead on pvp, wvw AND pve because it will not longer proc the relics of the midnight king and nightmare queen. We literally can't have ANYTHING.

This. Move the ambush dps trait into mirrored axes(a rename might be cool i guess) and make mirage mantle the alac trait.

Using some of the spears felt like a debilitating condition so they delivered i guess.

Even then right now power virt with spear is benching like 46k and will be easier to play than power mirage.

You get more damage camping sword.

Screenshots Don't have any screen recording program to showcase, can only post these lame screenshots. The damage was also reduced to the amount of hits you see on the vuln stacks. For clarification. I didn't cancel any ambush, i let the full animation play before trying to dodge again. On my whole hour of just ambushing the different golems, for these screenshots was the first time i see it hit only twice. And is something constant, not rare to see at all. I'd say that around 30% off all my ambushes ever hit the full amount.

And even then the ambush wasn't tested enough to see that it randomly misses 4 out of the 7 hits or the buff doesn't stack like it's supposed to.

Ok, after doing some tests i can 100% say the ambush for some reason will miss hits no matter the hitbox size. The minimum of hits seems to be 3 out of the 7. Distance doesn't seem to help. Tried inside the hitbox, at medium range and max range of the ambush and the chances seem the same. I know Mirage is not the top prio on the list, that's chrono or virt, but this is plain embarrassing. Have you given thought about making it hybrid/condi? Give mirage a real treat this time instead of the crumbs its siblings leave behind.

Even if axe counted as blades it would be worse for cvirt than dagger because axe is only usable on mirage IF traited for it. They hate axe, Mirage and specially Axe on Mirage. That's one of the reasons that even Condi Chrono doesn't use it, axe is just plain bad on both usability and damage without mirroring axes. Also, be grateful you are getting another power weapon. Power mirage is horrible and i hate how they are pushing that garbo instead of fixing the current spec.

Spear seems to be pretty good thematically a Mirage weapon. Wait until Mirage is the worst spec with it.

Fashion templates and the removal of the transmutation charges would go a long way into making the fashion game better. Along with separate outfit dye templates and same with mount skins.

Double staff Mirage can still get you over enough dps to clear almost any content. Unless you plan doing fractals where you will suck outside of bosses. Is basically just dodging and pressing some buttons.

Oh yes, staff. the famous aoe weapon that gets worse the more targets are together. Be serious for a minute.
