One ranger to another. It's a L2P issue.

I stopped playing about 6 months ago. I can't really say it was one thing in particular, but it sure was a lot of "little" things over the years. The general lack of care for WvW from the devs has been the main gripe, probably since 2014/2015. But if I'd pinpoint what really did it for me was: - Boonball bs - Too much stealth in the game - Condi bunker builds and condi spam in general - Winning became pointless - Projectile hate making a lot of builds useless in zergs

I'm a WvW player since beta weekends and I'll be moving to New World. Anet lost me a while ago, even though I still played their game, although much less than before in recent times. Anet dropped the ball on WvW many years ago. It's too late now, at least for me. I've played NW beta and simply wow, open world pvp, reminded me of the good old days of Cabal online. Crafting that's actually useful, pve that's not 2 hit kill on a npc etc... And most of all, NO STEALTH! Oh what a joy it is fighting players you can actually see. Also hardly any condition damage. So sorry Anet, no more dinero from me. I'll come back if you make new ranger spec replace FB in zergs, so probably, never. gl hf

Soulbeast is "broken" because l2p issues. Anyone defending thief at this point can't be taken seriously.

Well, join the club. Only 3 maybe 4 classes can actually participate in zergs, anyone can participate in zerg fights.. You can't play how you want next to towers and sentries? Boo-hoo, people can't fight things they can't even see aka thieves. Nerfs? Dude, thieves are still beyond broken in roaming and small scale. You F up? No problemo, gone with the wind. So please, spare us your bs.

Looking at how they intend to move players around servers for alliances, they sure do seem to track this.

There were some pretty bad ideas on this forum over the years... but this one. Wow.

Turn EOTM into a solo, squad of 3 and 5 battleroyale map, roaming is great again, GW2 turns into a esport game (it's what they pushed for so hard back in the day). Everyone wins.

This espec is basically cannon fodder in WvW unless it goes condi bunker. It's only half decent in 1v1s when it can kite/spam condies from 900 range. In zergs it's meh as well. Dueled some people playing it vs my soulbeast, and yes I know, they probably don't know yet how to really play it, and it was trully ez mode vs anything other than condi bunker. All in all I don't see a real point to this class, it adds nothing new besides self HP nerf. All it is, is another pointless class spreading condi in WvW. Slow clap.

Only people who can't play ranger think it's bad in zergs.

It's a bug with dolly corpses most of the time. You can also be put in combat if you hit the ground where a dolly died. Just how it is.

A lot of people who run these builds are super bad and can be easily countered and quickly given a free respawn ticket. If you find it non fun, just avoid fights with these nabs. I personally enjoy it to some extent, crushing the egos they built up by picking on people who run zero counter to them. It's not really just an issue with stats though, it's also that skills apply too many stacks and do power damage, and too many skills output condi damage overall. idk, Anet won't ever be able to fix it unless a non care be ar approach is taken.

Make a real "event" with 10 participants vs your cele druid, and I guarantee you that you'll have to run from at least half of them to not die, just like you did vs me. You're a clown, nothing more.

It wasn't actually. Read what he wrote. He wrote his cele druid needs to be beat, not downed or defeated, beat. And it was not just beaten, it was utterly destroyed as all he had left to do was to run away in circles avoiding certain death. I didn't want to mention this before and don't take it as me making excuses as I admit it wasn't that big of a factor. But... having the same ping as I do on EU (I wasted quite a few skills thinking he was closer to me than he actually was) and me adjusting my build (change of runes and amulet) he would have most likely died inside the time limit (which he now claims doesn't even count). If he actually fought back instead for just running away, he would had died 100%, and we all know that. Let's not forget, he is not a great player, a walking loot bag, as we saw from his videos and in our fight. He is a clown "steamer" with 77 followers. Trevor Boyer.6524, lets do a few more fights. Dude you truly are deluded. My first post in this thread was that brawler soulbeast is in every way superior to cele druid. You didn't agree. And I displayed that is a fact in our fight. You can write your novels here, TLDR btw... no one gives two squirts.

Also agree on if the clown doesn't fight back and only runs away, that it's gg. Because that's what he'll do vs anyone half decent.

I can do more fights. I'll be on NA until Thursday 😉 So far.. after about 4-5h of roaming, I have to say that NA players are indeed worse than the average EU player. Why, I don't know. BUT! They are saltier. Got more whispers in this time frame than a few days worth of roaming on EU. Also most try to play some sort of condi build or whatever which I find sad.

"Streamer"... he has 77 followers (actually down from 79 he had yesterday). xD He's a random clown who got schooled after mouthing on here about how his cele druid is the greatest. But I am glad that he streamed it. Makes for excellent meme content in my collection, like the time I repeatedly stomped a Anet dev on their official WvW stream and made him complain about how busted soulbeast is... "we'll have to look into it...". That was almost a year ago, and they did nothing. If anyone wants a vid of that I can provide.
