  1. Now I want a A warclaw skin that is a Badger wearing a tuxedo, monocle, and top hat. It truely would be a Badger of Honor. The mounting effect should be it popping out of a cup of a tea or a splash of tea.
  2. I would like a badger of honor. I bet he would be smartly dressed and polite, and offer me a cup of tea. Badges of honor are got through playing wvw, you'll get lots in due time. Join a zerg group and make sure you have some AoE skills, Rewards chest and other things give them so play and level up. The more you play the more you earn.
  3. Instead of Piercing Light giving aegis when you use a trap skill. Can it give Resolution instead, Resolution(Retaliation when it was in the game) has been a key part of Power Dragonhunter builds since before the release PoF, Yet Dragonhunter still does not have native way of getting the boon within it's traits or skills within the Dragonhunter spec. it has rely one of the Greatsword skills and allies to give it the boon. Another other boon would have been nice. More aegis really doesn't help much. Guardians pump out so much aegis already. Resolution on traps would allow Dragonhunter's to maintain the boon up on Resolution so they can keep up the damage over time.
  4. Virtuoso got nothing this patch. What about adding some condition removal for the spec. You could make the heal skill cure 5 conditions like rev and warrior's heal skill? Could we get a redo/rework to Virtuoso's Bladeturn Requiem (F5) It's kinda pointless now, since you removed the block from it. In the stream they went on about how it's not good having melee attacks on ranged pets so you fixed that. Virtuoso is ranged spec but the profession skill Bladeturn Requiem (f5) is a melee skill. The skill was suppose to block incoming attacks but in an update the block was removed, and without that block, the skill just do not do much and sits there rarely being used, because you can't really use it when you to. How about making a 1200 range ground target skill like Dagger3? Though I have a better idea by changing the move completly. Bladeturn Requiem - F5 "Cure up to 5 conditions, stocking a blade per condition cleared then Fire all stocked blades at your target. Also Inflict a stack of bleed per condition cured."
  5. The reason you're struggling is because your gear is all over the place. First off, You are suppose have 6 of the SAME rune across all your armour not 6 different ones, The more of the same rune you have, the more bonuses stack and unlock the next tier, notice how the only first one of each is in blue. Meaning you're getting that 1 effect. not all 6 six. Check the wiki for runes and see what runes you want. I wouldn't reccomend Mercy runes anymore if you're trying to do support or healing. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Rune Secondly You armour stats are everywhere, Normally you should only have 1 or 2 types of Stat Attributes in a build e.g Maruaders, Cleric, Marshals etc, https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Attribute_combinations Figure out what you want your build to do first. Example Do you want to do conditions or Healing/support, maybe a little of both. then Prehaps look for build guide to help you out. If you're a firebrand I'd reccomend some condition gear.
  6. I think the whole boss is a mess. It seems like the boss was designed for a strike or raid not a for a 5 player party, and there is way too much going with it. It should be toned down a little.
  7. Sounds like a plan, but gives me an idea, get few friends on guardians and all dress in red, Run around with pistols using Judge's Intervention teleporting to people. HA! no one expects the spanish inquisition.
  8. Its suppose to give Quickness in all modes. No where does it say PvE only. or not WvW/PvP. "Spectacular Sphere: This trait now grants quickness when deploying your jade sphere in any attunement, in addition to the boons currently granted. Quickness duration reduced from 5 seconds to 2 seconds. " From what they've stated, they want Catalyst to have Quickness regurdless what element you're in if you take the trait. I think you misread which trait was changed for pvp/wvw only "Energized Elements: This trait now grants might instead of fury in PvP and WvW. " this trait was the only one changed for those games modes. the rest of catalayst changes are across all game modes.
  9. The trait is giving swiftness and not quickness in all attunement except Air. However in air attunement it's giving both swiftness and quickness.
  10. Actual ranged damage. An issue in the past has been what power weapon to pair with scepter. The only Power ranged option Guardian has for offhand is focus but then the Focus 5 skill is more defensive and not ranged. Giving it Dual pistols will help guardian have an offensive ranged kit that is Power based. It will certainly help having an offhand pistol to go with scepter, Well I hope it will.
  11. Finally a good ranged option on guardian. Been waiting for pistol on guardian for ages.
  12. I agree what is Bladesong Requiem (F5) now? it feels rather pointless. Virt is a mostly ranged spec, so having that skill doesn't do any range has to some ultity to it but Bladesong Requiem doesn't anymore. Maybe turning it into a reflect to stop projectiles would have been better. Better yet giving an entirly new bladesong skill that does something else. "Bladesong Finale - Fire you blades at foes clearing conditions for the amount of blade stocked if you stocked 5 blades you blades will inflict bleed and torment"
  13. I vote for Alac Trap DH. Place a trap, get alac.
  14. That's what I was getting at. Dodge and evade same thing,. Wing of Resolve virtue skill, You are leaping into the air... like a dodge, but No evade on it. I hate that there is no evade on that skill as well. i think everyone has been interrupted mid leap or died mid leap due to the lack of evade on it, Myself included. Look at the amount evades Ranger and Warrior have on their moves, Both Classes have an evade on their Greatsword leap but for some reason Guardian's Greatsword leap skill doesn't have an evade on it? Ranger has 10 skills with evade on them. 14 if you include the pets. Guardian's only skill with an evade on it, is WB's Rolling light. They really should give Guardian some evades on the skills that it looks like it's evading. GS3 and WoR need it.
  15. The no cooldown on traits are cool and I don't mind them, but I wish they would give us a reason to take some traits as some feel outdated or useless now. All 3 minor traits for Dragonhunter don't really do anything, one cripples on disable which it doesn't do much of. another just puts slow on traps and the last one gives you an immob on what is commonly used an escape tool. Basically the choice is between inflicting 1 or 2 weak/minor conditions and an immob on a move you dont really use for offense. They're not really impactful, They need to redo some of the dragonhunter traits and put some boons or something new somewhere. Just get rid of the "dull sense" trait and something something, Maybe to with longbow. What about adding the dodge the wings trait as you are literally leaping up as if you are dodging something anyway.
  16. The change to heal skill is passable but I'd rather the healing skill clear more conditions as this where virtuoso struggles. 2 or 3 condition clears instead of 1 in PvE. 3 condi clears would be in nice all modes. Instead of the healing skill being offensive it should be more defensive, like a healing skill should be. "Heal and convert conditions into blades (up to 3 or 5), if you clear 3 conditions then gain aegis and a random boon". This way it is specfic to Virt and you don't end up hitting random mobs when you heal.
  17. What Power DragonHunter needs more sustianable DPS, its own way of giving itself the Resoultion boon within the DragonHunter traits or skills. For years now Power Dragonhunter has depended upon keeping up Resoultion (and retaliation when it was part of the game) for the damage boost but has never had any traits within itself to give it the Resoultion boon. "Power-based dragonhunter builds still aren't performing at the level they need to be to compete with other damage builds, so we've improved a few of their key skills and traits. " If you're going to talk about it damage then it needs a way to sustain or up keep the damage. Right now, Power Dragonhunter needs more to get Resoultion. In PvE content its pretty much forced it use Greatsword as its only way giving itself Resoultion other than its heal skill, meanwhile we other classes/specs pumping out boons which give them extra damage. A way to help Power Dragonhunter would be to add Resoultion the trait "Pierecing Light" so every dragonhunter trap gives it Resoultion when it set off as well inflicting slow on foes. You could also put Resoultion on the Heavy Light trait so when it disables foes it gains a few seconds of Resoultion as well. Allowing more ways to gain the boon. All in all DragonHunter lacks options to get the boon it needs to upkeep the damage. Giving more options to do so should help its damage output slightly.
  18. It is nice to some buffs for Staff on Elementalist But could you rework "Eruption" (Earth staff - 2) As it takes WAY too long for skill to damage, could you speed up to 0.25 or 0.5 seconds or re-work it to be a pulsing AoE of earth spikes or something like Fire Staff 2 So we have reliable damage option on staff while in the earth attunement. It feels so slow and clunkly to use Earth with Staff right now.
  19. Honestly I just want them to make Earth Staff 2 better so you can use it. Its way too slow. Make it quicker. Or just change the skill.
  20. Honestly I do think Dragonhunter needs a revamp especially the Bow. We still have one or two traits that have NEVER been touched or tweaked in any way from the HoT release in 2015. All the other specs have had complete reworks. I know in a few metas Dragonhunter's place is OK, not the best, just decent. Middle of the road., and that fine. Its not in bad place but not in good one, and often feels like a forgotten class these days. In the PvE meta it doesn't really have a niche, It's just another Power DPS spec so its replaceable. DH has a niche trap role in has in WvW and thats it. But having playing 3000+ hours on a DH its kinda gone stale without anything new, and feels like it has dropped off in a some way though nothing about it has changed. I've had the same gear and build on my DH since LS3/start of PoF. Watching everyone else get new toys or re-vamps on their classes/specs while your spec gets nothing, is rather dull and boring. You see people and friends complaining about nerfs and buffs to their specs, but you can't even do that. The past 2-3 years for guardian have all been about Firebrand, DH only seems to get patches due to mandtory global changes, point in case the Hunter's Determination change in the 4th Oct to get rid of skills with 300 cooldown in wvw/pvp. the last notiable DH change was LB5's (Hunter's Ward) casting time being reduced about a half year ago. Before that I don't know what. I think what people want is something NEW with dragonhunter along with the fixes, because after so long without anything major done to it. People just to shake up the spec a little to put some life back into it to give people a reason to use it again, give it some boons or a new role. We need that new resoultion boon within Dragonhunter traits for damage. so they could give it to use. I would to see Hunter's Fortification get replaced by something new maybe something that gives conditions to the Longbow, or extra boons, maybe a new trap or virtue, or make the Bulwark trait to give us barrier when our aegis ends. What about giving a dodge onto our F2 skill and have True shot not root you in place. I would like to see a little breath of life given to Dragonhunter. right now feels like dragonhunter in limbo.
  21. Then whats the point of making the items single use rather than making them account bound item with infinite uses. Because if you are going to get it eventually again and again, it seems rather pointless. We have an infinite use food item we got from Year 9, the Feast of Delectable Birthday Cake, so why not an infinte use banner for Year 10.
  22. I am curious because, it would be kinda sad if it was only a single use item, because you can only 1. also with it being a limited time only item you can only get this week, I feel that its needs a bit more value to it for getting it, rather than it being a single use item. I like the idea of an infinite banner buff you can place down anytime, within reason of course.
  23. For Dragonhunter Could you make "True Shot" (Longbow skill 2) not root you in place. It feels awkward to the stop and sometimes you end up canceling the skill because you move.
  24. I feel like you missed the mark a bit, you're going in the right direction. In my view What banners should have when traited is a 5sec of Quickness when placed and then a second pulse of a 5 secs of quickness when the banner disappears at the 15 second mark. Giving the warrior a 2 pulses of quickness for10 seconds. This allows a rotation where the warrior can fight while placing down banners. So with max Boon duration, you can have 2 banners, to place one every 10 seconds or so. This makes it easier to cover your allies. but if you run less boon duration, you might need another banner. thought a lot Groups normally run Alacrity, so cooldown timers that shouldn't be an issue. but the Cooldowns do line up, when the first banner fades, your second banner should be up and you should have 15 secs of quickness (if max boon duration), which is enough time for the First banner Cooldown to end and reapply it.
  25. I don't use warrior much but I do know that the changes are bad. You'd think tif they were swapping thief skills around they'd swap some warrior skills around so they can do more damage or to help warrior players out. Here are a few triats that they should change and move Swap "Furious Burst" from Arms lines to Discpline to " Destruction of the empowered. " I have no idea why a Fury trait is in the condition line when it should be in a power based one. With Furious burst in this traitline in the middle, it allows an offensive option for warriors not using Banners, allowing Warriors to get fury for better self fury uptime. Using Burst skills within their rotation. Now that Destruction of the empowered is in the condition based traitline as a default trait, change the strike damage to "Deals more condition damage" but with a twist instead of the boons being the foe, Make it the warrior, so they do more condition damage the more boons they have, like Deadeye. "Deal increased Condition damage for each unique boon on have." (+1% per boon) This change will help out Condition warriors in group settings a lot more. As Condition warrior in general is on the lower end of the DPS charts end for condition themed builds.
