Why are they acting like its only the Feline family that are unaffected by quickness???? Over 70% of all pets have this bugged attack animation... Full list of pets unaffected by quickness:-Arctodus -Black Bear -Brown Bear -Murellow -Polar Bear -Eagle -Hawk -Owl -Raven -White Raven -Alpine Wolf -Fern Hound -Krytan Drakehound -Wolf -Hyena -Ice Drake -Marsh Drake -Reef Drake -River Drake -Salamander Drake -Jaguar -Jungle Stalker -Snow Leopard -Tiger -Cheetah -Lynx -Sand Lion -Blue Jellyfish -Rainbow Jellyfish -Red Jellyfish -Black Moa -Blue Moa -Pink Moa -Red Moa -White Moa -Boar -Pig -Siamoth -Warthog

I've stated it a million times already, so here we go again! Out of all 55 Ranger pets, 39 of them are actually bugged! These pets include: -Arctodus -Black Bear -Brown Bear -Murellow -Polar Bear -Eagle -Hawk -Owl -Raven -White Raven -Alpine Wolf -Fern Hound -Krytan Drakehound -Wolf -Hyena -Ice Drake -Marsh Drake -Reef Drake -River Drake -Salamander Drake -Jaguar -Jungle Stalker -Snow Leopard -Tiger -Cheetah -Lynx -Sand Lion -Blue Jellyfish -Rainbow Jellyfish -Red Jellyfish -Black Moa -Blue Moa -Pink Moa -Red Moa -White Moa -Boar -Pig -Siamoth -Warthog And get ready to welcome White Tiger to the list! Any pets that release that share the same pet family from launch will use their families attack animations. Put simply, if your using any one of these pets (Soulbeast merging aside) your damage and overall effectiveness is greatly reduced. The reason being, that all these pets suffer from bugged attack animations that: 1 - They gain no attack speed increase from Quickness (While they gain the buff, they DO NOT actually attack any faster) 2 - Disjointing Attacks. They're attacks will actually miss on moving targets. (The rates of misses depend on the speed on the moving target and the attack speed of your pet.) Because of this, a lot of our skills and traits, actually don't even do anything or are only half as effective. You'll be gaining much less synergy with any pet traits (and there's a lot of them, which is to be expected with a pet profession) when using over 70% of the pets in the game. And with this new Untamed Elite Specialization that FINALLY has actually synergy with your pet instead of ignoring it like Druid or tossing him away like Soulbeast, choosing one of these pets really hinders your effectiveness. We really need this bugged fixed. Having out profession mechanic only working less then 30% of the time is pretty game breaking if you ask me.

This.This.This and This. Couldn't have said it better. Untamed is a disaster, a disappointment, and yet another failure. These are the solutions^^^^

So to start off, I'll be spreading more awareness about this bug because Anet is avoiding fixing it like the plague, and you can clearly see in the Livesteam today they haven't changed their stance.... My personal view on the state of GW2
Johnny.1634 replied to BioDio.3476's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Biggest issues for me are:Refusal to fix bugsLack of communication with their playerbaseReleasing more and more content that that players only play once instead of making old content like Dungeons more impactful and fun to play again. -
End of Dragons = End of GW2?
Johnny.1634 replied to Sileeent.5861's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Sad to say it but it may be very likely.I log in everyday to see my giant Guild List/Friends List/Followers list with maybe 1 person on? Bare in mind all my Guildies and Friends have always been longtime fans. Arenanet has pretty much lost most of their REAL dedicated Fanbase. They refuse to fix bugs, and don't really communicate or listen to their playerbase at all, so its not really surprising. I hope they can one day change this, the game still has so much potential. -
One Big Problem With Rangers and Pets - Anet Fix This Bug
Johnny.1634 replied to Johnny.1634's topic in Ranger
Keep up the reports and support to get this bug fixed guys! Hopefully we can get it done before they release a whole new set of pets that are bugged in the new expansion!https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/569/bugged-ranger-pet-attack-animations-disjointing-attacks-and-unaffected-by-quickness#latest -
I really loved this game. Straight from the start of GW1, but the team has really been letting their fans down. They for some reason refuse to listen to their community and they wont even fix major bugs they know are in the game, its so frustrating.

In one of the Guild Wars Novels "Ghosts of Ascalon" the main characters are exploring the Crypts below Divinity's Reach.I always though this would be amazing to explore, and maybe even be a dungeon (and while we're at it, can we revamp dungeons to be a thing again?) I thought the "Boss" fight in the book was so awesome, I'd love to be a part of it ingame!

Theory-crafting new expansion and professions
Johnny.1634 replied to RappsodyXVI.7865's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I just hope they stop ignoring all the issue with pets and make a spec that doesn't completely ignore it like Druid, or completely take it away like Southeast. Pets are our profession mechanic...stop sweeping it under the rug, fix it and make some actual creative specs and improvements to the profession. -
Do you feel you are the target group of A-Net

Definitely not.Player since day 1 in GW1. They've definitely lost touch with their real fan base.
