  1. I'm a filthy casual who plays all LI builds. From beta to a little after PoF I used to main ele, and I was never a raider or a fractal god but I did decently for myself, used to duo dungeons with a friend waaaay back when that content was still relevant, occasionally solo things that weren't meant to be soloed. Then I had multiple serious medical problems crop up, and I thought I was going to have to quit GW2 entirely for a good while because the amount of button pressing needed to stay alive was causing me serious pain and damaging my wrists and hands, even just playing for only like an hour and taking lots of breaks. Switching my main class and using LI builds that involve immensely less keypresses enabled me to keep playing this game I still love, which is a blessing as my health continues to deteriorate and there aren't a lot of other fun things I'm able to do. I just want LI builds to stay viable. I don't need to be able to solo legendaries, I can wait for other players to show up to do that OW event with the champ at the end, I'll happily run away if I overpull or else take the L if I die because I wandered into the wrong mob-laden spot by myself on accident. Those are all normal reasonable things to happen in OW exploration. All I want is to be able to successfully complete the story content, explore the maps, scrounge up the gold and currency to do a little fashion wars, and RP a little (RP in an MMORPG! Gasp! Scandalous!), while using my LI builds. Anet, please don't completely kill sustain. Some of us have done all the git gudding that we're physically able to do. I don't need the same rewards as elite raiders, I just want to see the pleb content that anybody should be able to complete while using a build that doesn't leave me unable to use my hands after an hour.
  2. I was hoping there was some kind of trick to it, the first thing I did after getting out of the first story instance was go to the nearest fishing hole, I was really excited for this aspect of EoD. But I guess my reflexes aren't fast enough to catch a fish 😞
  3. Yeah, I'm still sad the community complained so much and got Dragon's Watch to stop calling us "boss". I liked that much better, it made them sound like they actually feel like they're friends with the commander and are gently teasing them. Having them all call us "Commander" is weirdly formal and creates such uncomfortable distance.
  4. Hello all! I'm back to GW2 after being mostly away from the game for a while, lately just trying to catch up on the Living World content I missed. I'm mainly a casual PvE player -- open world and dungeons, less familiar with fractals, haven't done strikes or raids -- and I love RP, have only dabbled a bit in-game but would be excited to do more. I've also been known to dip a toe into WvW once in a while though I'm usually not that brave (Tarnished Coast server). I'd mainly like to find a casual social guild, someplace fun to hang out, even if we're not playing the same game modes all the time. I need a guild that's LGBTQ+ friendly and above all I need a guild that is okay with the fact that I can't login all the time -- I have wrist problems that limit how much gaming I can do which is why I haven't been able to play consistently; it's been really hard to find a guild home over the years because of this. I'd love to make friends with a guild where it's okay if I just hang out in the Discord some weeks because physical pain prevents me from being in the game. If you think that might be your guild -- where people are genuinely chill and cool with getting to know somebody who might only be able to login to GW2 once every couple weeks -- then I would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading :)
  5. Thank you for addressing the feedback! But, uh... I don't think you understand how bad I am at jumping puzzles.
