  1. So, to preface this, a few things: - I am a casual, but try to be "acceptably useful". - The armor in this build is meant to be swappable between my Specter and Mechanist. The Mechanist will likely use Viper accessories/etc. This also explains the runes. - I am not a pro thief so may misunderstand some mechanics, hence why I am asking for opinions. - This is the build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PaDBsihjlhyWZpMV2IeuWnRPA-zRRYmRP7N4CJnIojUIkCQ4B-e So the general idea is to be able to use Sc/D for single-target support (Dungeons with a tank, etc), but use D/D for AoE healing when needed. As I understand it, Stealing and Cloak and Dagger will trigger Stealth talents (as does Shadow Strike for P/D) so I expect the wells will do the same. Assuming I am correct (again, tell me if I am not), the following will trigger AoE healing: All 4 wells, Stealing and Cloak and Dagger. This will heal from Traversing Dusk and Shadow Savior as well as provide boons from Thrill of the Crime and Bountiful Theft, Blind from Cloaked in Shadow and (if done perfectly) an uptime of 19s Alacrity with 1s off due to Well CD. I would also contribute DPS from all of the Scepter/Dagger DoTs, a small bit from the strike damage and the additional Torment from Rot Wallow Venom (which may not register on my personal DPS chart). So... what did I get wrong here? Or is this actually a good build?
  2. Not necessarily. There is a very good chance "End of Dragons" means "End of the Elder Dragons". On top of that, if the dragons do represent spheres of power it means they are Aspects, and traditionally Aspects are either impossible to kill or are reborn after some time has passed. They may look different, or be a different species, but they would still exist in some form.
  3. This game has been out for years. The chances advertising will yield enough new players to make a ROI on the marketing costs is minimal. Those that left the game out of boredom will very likely hear about the expansion and come back to check it out, or at least read reviews before purchasing. Word of mouth is, and has always been, the best advertising. The nice thing about it is, it's free. As a side note, how "good" a game (or aspect of a game) is tends to be dependent on the opinion of the person judging it. Personally, my favorite game right now is Cyberpunk 2077. I wish it had more content and/or was a MMO, but it has kept me entertained. As good as the combat is in GW2, I stopped playing some time back and am waiting on the expansion release. Necro with pewpew? Yes plz.

  5. Doesn't the Curses line provide Power and damage reduction and the Blood line provide health siphoning? Those two with Harbinger should work out well, I think.
  6. Funerary is too hard to get. It requires event completions few are willing to do and for those of us overseas, at dead times it's pointless to try. Most zones are now dead, the expansion came out less than a month ago...
