I don’t normally agree wholeheartedly with Swagger but they are spot on with this post. -
I think that Anet needs to reevaluate a lot of the Initiative costs across all Thief weapons and skills, they have been extremely heavy handed when nerfing the skills themselves and increasing the resource costs.

If "mes are fine" why nobobody uses mirage again? Since the big nerf I've never seen one in pvp wvw. Never. Even mesmer and thief mains are saying that if they could play something else at the same level they would. Having said that if sustain nerfs come in to the over performers then all the classes will be in a strong position. Also everyone seems to think these classes don't have aspects that are too strong or will be too strong soon. Mesmer and War both have a lot of CC on too low a cool down/without investment and thief portal is borderline game breaking without mentioning insane stealth -
Renegade wasn’t implemented well overall for what the rest of the class is attempting to do, the Weapon with the class was clunky and so were the ES mechanic. Everyone have a different opinion on if Power Herald is too weak or too strong, in PvP for its Role it is in a relatively good place, it takes a little more skill to play effectively and is shut down by heavy Condi builds, in WvW it’s decent for small scale Roaming as a S/S and Staff Or if you go backline Hammer Rev in Zergs it is phenomenal, for Open world PvE Power Herald is Meh if you want to AoE mobs down, it is doable but not super

Power Herald is mediocre when multiple enemies(or destructible environment) are nearby, since Swords 2/3 get split between all enemies and is not single target. Power Herald relies on single target burst unless you are using an AoE build similar to Glass Hammer Rev.

Your suggestion was good but it necessitate a stacking effect, so meh. More than meh. The possibility of 9 seconds of exhaustion from a single dodge is not worth the 2 from cripple. 1 dodge can apply max of 4s of exhaust, the problem is if u dodge to break immob, than get immobilized and dodge again, than it can summ up to 12 s, but these are extreme situations.i dont rly get the change to exhaustion stacking, its just stupid. If you have 3 different Movement impairing conditions UC will clear all of them and stack Exhaustion. Patch notes: Exhaustion: This effect now stacks in duration up t

Hopefully not, but Anets track record doesn’t give much for faith on balance decisions, and they specifically state Exhaustion Stacks and never said that UC won’t cause one UC removing multiple don’t stack.

Soulbeast has higher damage multipliers/Modifiers, just by Sic Em alone. Looking at PvP traits and skills only:Rev multipliers are conditional, ie based upon number of boons or number of upkeep so I used the realistic average for them. Easiest class to play? Warrior, it has enough passive defenses that you don’t have to worry about much PvE wise, PvP wise it’s extremely easy to pickup you will have to learn it to be really good at it(like most classes) but it can carry people learning the game well enough.

It’s not half the cast time it’s close but not, and you conveniently forgot to mention Revs UA is tied to Energy cost on top of the CD that directly impacts utilizing other skills on the whole bar. -

You missed one huge, difference between UA and SA: SA instantly drops target and is Instant Cast, UA doesn’t drop target and has a large precast. -

It helps for engaging for roaming where you get an advantage at the beginning of the fight, and helps in prolonged fights, more than anything.

No, that skill needs to have a cast time too. Lot of sheeple are still asking for that on SBs. I’m all for parity on similar skills so either way works for me, but I was mainly referring to it doesn’t have the same issue as UA with people out ranging it while being cast mainly do to the longer range, on top of no pre cast punishment frames. -

They could make it work exactly how Soulbeast Smoke Assault works it never has this failure, I mean if the Smoke Assault is ok for one Class to have then it should be ok for the class with the original version of the skill to have the same functionality -

Again you have nothing to say that, since if it isn’t a big how hard is to reply? Since with nothing from the Devs we have something show a large bug regarding ranges, especially when we have skills supposedly max range of “1200” hitting further than 1500 range. Again the Devs seem to be avoiding this like the plague. And why are certain people so adamant on not having the Devs state yes or no if it’s intended? Are they afraid of it not being intended and having a bug causing an advantage from being removed? Getting a yes or no would put this discussion to rest for once and for all. All you -

You can see this easy by drawing a line from a to b measure it now do the same lenght and bend the line will the bent line reach as far as your straight one? That doesn’t mean anything in regards to this being intended or not, nothing more than speculation and reaching at this point, please provide the official source stating this is intended behavior.
