  1. Since we're talking about water scepter skills, the water auto should apply vulnerability. One stack, ten seconds at least. Up the damage too
  2. Bigger radius please! I've tried it a couple times yesterday and trying to aim a moving, teleporting target is impossible
  3. I've been experimenting an various builds and Ele does face a precision problem. The fury traits don't help since 20% just isn't enough, and its only a 50% frequency rate. I would advocate for more precision but it shouldn't be fresh air only cause fresh air triggers on crit, so if you already have a crit problem, fresh air wont effectively solve it.
  4. Agreed, given the recent change to this skill, it's clear the Devs want cleansing fire to be used more. In pvp, it's just not worth a utility slot. Especially not on its own. Cleansing fire still needs traited cleanses in order for the build to be useful. From the builds I created it's more of a handicap given the utility slot use and taken when only absolutely necessary. The utility skill seems to lack identity. It's an attack with the Burn, but only does 786 damage over 6 sec at baseline. 3 cleanses is pitiful when fighting true condi builds that spit out condi every other second. The only thing this skill is really good at is might generation.
  5. Given the spam of conditions in PvP, cleansing fire still doesn't have enough to take up a utility slot. CD is too long and it only removes 3 conditions Recommendation: Cleansing fire heals for every condition cured. (On top of it's other effects). Preferably 500 heal for each condition.
  6. I'm stealing that response from now on. People spam confuse responses like they can't read the text or something.
  7. An evade on the leap would justify the blast then. Cause at least you guarantee a landing. Since Ele is all about combos you really want to have 100% chance of comboing for a utility skill Plus, since this skill now forces Ele into melee range, like so many changed skills nowadays, the evade is better safety management for such a fragile class. It's a good idea. Side note, I've played Ele for a decade, and it's my main. And I've never used arcane power. Such a waste. I agree Arcane skills should have boon rip
  8. For some reason I can log on to the game with the new password. But it doesn't work on the actual website when I'm trying to buy the expansion
  9. I had to change my password two times and it's not logging me in. I'm in an endless loop of phone codes, password typing and unaccess replies
  10. Melee range and sword is just slow. Incredibly tough to pull off ... But I would still choose that over hammer in pvp 🤣🤣 At least you get two evades
  11. Should be a leap finisher now instead of a blast finisher The latter puts too much responsibility on landing the skill. Also, ele has tons of blasts but not many leaps Leap finishers grant access to auras as well which is very desirable for eles
  12. Classes with low HP and low armor need adequate defenses if they're forced in melee combat .... Without weapon swap I might add
  13. In PvE or PvP? Maybe the values are different in different modes
  14. Rune of Adventure and Rune of the Beserker are the same thing. Please fix!
  15. They should create a Gauntlet weapon for Ele, if not longbow. It'll be a new idea but very creative and fitting for what hammer tried to do, which was mixed ranges. You know how Holosmith makes weapons out of thin air basically? Well Ele does the same already but they conjure them. So Gauntlets, which will be a Main Hand weapon, conjures different weapons with each attunement Fire- conjure greatsword (300-900 range) Water- conjure ice Longbow (1200 range) Air- conjure dual pistols (900 range) Earth- conjure Earth Staff (300-900 range) Greatsword could be aoe and range DPS like the elite skill. Longbow could have water blasts and backwards leaps that heal at both the origin and Target location. Longbow could have a ice aura too. Air could be knockbacks and quick lightning fire. Earth could have forward leaps and 300 range autos. Staff could have blocks and a magnetic aura. That way you get a little bit of everything. You're not duplicating weapons cause it's technically a Gauntlet. But the conjures are produced from your hands with cool effects. Would have been way easier to implement and have fun with than a dusty pistol, lol. It would be a hybrid weapon but easy to use with Fire/Earth melee condi and Water/Air being ranged power. Weaver would still work. Dual skills based off the main attunement weapon. Fourth and Firth skills are still the old attunement weapon. The gauntlets conjure based off skill use. Just like Holo forge skills are different weapons for every skill
  16. Wow, that is bull. Especially cause hammer orbs doesn't get removed that way. So it's not a "design" effect
  17. Just trying to explain the rotation of bullet or non bullet sounds exhausting
  18. I hear elementalist pistol is horrible. No surprise there... Is there a reason why Anet couldn't just satisfy the Ele community and give us a longbow instead of hammer and pistol??
  19. LoL, he asked for a scepter/dagger weaver variant. I gave him one. I guess you could just answer the question with, go to metabattle/guildjen. But where's the fun in that? Plus, that "official" FA build is severely lacking cleanses. And It's the worst rated weaver build on metabattle. The second lowest Ele build for the entire profession. Not really advantageous to recommend
  20. You could do dagger. That's the more fun and fast version. With the changes coming up, scepter/dagger is gonna have more viability cause there's more available prot/stab and interrupts. But either offhands are viable. Depends too on how you want to do damage. Either using fresh air (FA) or Lightning rod (LR). If you can't interrupt your targets, like infamous guardians, then you want Focus and FA to burn them as fast as possible. If you have squishy, bursty classes. Then you want LR to interrupt, weaken, and burn them. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAsilNw2YKsRmJOyL7vVA-D6gfGRKB6VBY0fDAA I played this a bit ago and it worked just fine. You can easily switch things around as needed. There's lots of opportunity now that weavers can cleanse on their own
  21. Scepter weaver/fire/air is not that hard to pull off after the buff to cleanses. Add that with marauder or demolisher and you have yourself a "one shot" build
  22. LR with the new arcane wave works, but in PVP, the utilities are mostly stun breaks and either Earth Shield/Lightning flash, as Sahne mentioned. So I don't see where you can fit the utility in. The trait that boosts Arcane Utilities should also grant an additional charge to the skill. Maybe then it would be more useful to take. Before I took it just to reduce the cooldowns, but then that got nerfed.
