  1. Nothing happens when interacting with "Synergetics Database" in Rata Sum. The three other interactables work. Seems others I'm seeing also stuck. Found no mention of this bug in forum/reddit, etc. EDIT: sorry, it does work, but you have to ensure you're not interacting with the chair in front of the "Synergetics Database".
  2. Any chance to get the fancy footfall effects (and perhaps some aura-ish things, would need to go through all such cosmetic effects to see what makes sense) as either account-bound infusions or a footwear toggle of some sort when a legendary is unlocked? Too often I've got a theme for a character that doesn't really fit with any particular legendary weapon in terms of wielding/stowing, but there are footfalls I have that would work great.

  4. I cannot believe after over a year of EoD that the Fishing Party Buff has not been reworked to not be as horrific as it is. The number of times you get kicked from a map from it closing due to not enough players is ridiculous. It'd be fine if you kept your buff (that can be done, just look at the Volunteer's Blessing BUFF that is awarded upon changing) but it is so cruel to lose all that effort through no fault of the player. Thinking of an alternative, why can't the Fishing Party Buff work similarly to the World vs World Participation feature? Make it permanent (so it even persists when logged out) but it decays over time. That way one can grind fishing across any maps, and not lose the buff due to map closures or even disconnections (which are happening ever more frequently lately). Another really horrible "feature" of the Fishing Party Buff as it is, is not being able to go help someone in need because you'll lose all that work you've done to gain that buff if you can't return to your skiff in 15 seconds. Really goes against the "helpful community" idea that is always preached...
  5. Yes, I'd like to second the idea of having Stellar weapons count as well. Given I don't mind grinding too much yet my immediate reaction to seeing the Astral required, and it not ticked off even though I was well aware I'd done all the Stellar weapons, was one of bewilderment, means I think it WAS an oversight, and hopefully ANet can adjust this somehow. Again, not against grind in itself, just that this particular oversight is too bewildering to ignore. (As for the baseline Elegy armor, I've got all them yet no credit in the collections for the trinket...)Edit: for the armor I now see I have to speak with someone lol :)
  6. Thanks for the offer of help! Yeah I've checked LFG on occasion, not asked in /map (as I'm not THAT desperate that I want to bother another player for such a thing that is just a result of my completionist desires and not being blocked from real progress; it is more of a frustration with the design that I hope (I know..) that the devs will take into account going forward, and/or perhaps provide a fix given they did so with green room.) I'll msg you though if days turn into weeks of not having any RNG luck! ;)
  7. Appreciate the tip re. story. But being a completionist and having a thing where I like to take my currently-27 toons through each new map for completion, makes doing the story that many times not an appealing solution. :) I know, I don't NEED to map complete, but hey ultimately we don't even NEED to play the game. It is more of a request to the devs that they really try to consider how they implement map completion design (tho as @Illconceived Was Na.9781 mentioned, it isn't the first and likely won't be the last time we see such groan/shake of head design)
  8. Only seen one brief mention of this in a topic mostly related to the Hammer's Horde POI locking behind meta. Thought I'd make a distinct post and hope dev sees it. Been perhaps four days in a row now yet to get map complete at Thunderhead Peaks on an alt toon due to the Light of Deldrimor three-room sequence not including the purple room. I'm sure that now the weekend is here we might get more than one server/IP shard(?) of this map I'll probably get lucky to get the purple room in the sequence, but given it is RNG (nothing related to map completion should be locked behind RNG!) I guess it is possible for us to NEVER EVER see purple room available again outside of story. What I've done is a few times a day login to this toon, wait til I see some people doing the three-room sequence and seeing if they go to the purple room. Please devs can you make a change along the lines of ensuring purple is ALWAYS included in the LoD three-room sequence? Or take easy route and make it like the green room (Hammer's Horde) POI and have it unlocked at the gate? Happy with the former solution meaning we still have to play the game (or buy the LoD plate from TP, dunno why on earth this was even made a thing) to get access, but given you made the green room not requiring meta, why not purple..? Thanks!
