Also ele don't have many cover conditions like necro or herald; so burning would be easily cleansed in WvW situation. For zerg, you should not play condi. For roam, every roamer should have condi cleanse. If you disagree with any point I made in the beginning of the thread, pointing them out. Claiming the community "being degenerate" and digress from the thread topic only shows your ignorance. I used this in WvW/PvP before. It is strong in roam against newbie only, who has 0 condi cleanse. But a single cleanse would suffice, as ele has not enough cover conditions.

Yeah in the past it is true. But now with the change to exposed, I can only do better than my cFB with my power soulbeast except at 100CM and Ensolyss. All other professions lose to cFB atm. And for pugs -.- cFB just strictly better now. For all reasons listed in beginning. My soulbeast very likely won't get stab reliably.

I just wish if they have to nerf, nerf some other skills on dagger instead of signet of fire, which affects other condi ele spec as well.

Also due to radiance, f1 can get reset really often in many situations. It just inflates the damage. Also, permeating wrath. It is insane when you have some mobs stacked at boss, like in Siren. It again inflates the damage. So cFB is much stronger than its benchmark looks like, in addition to all other utilities to the group.

Yes you are right about math. Sorry about that. But still, when I use condi FB, it easily defeat condi weaver in fractal with ez 100k phase 1 at 99cm phase 1. It is still super strong.

It is 20% reduction. Also it affects condi tempest, and sword variant of weaver too. It is not all about dagger. Also dagger has been there for 2 years at least. Why nerf now. I have no issue of nerfing elementalist if they nerf Ashes of the just too. Also if you think some of my statements are not correct, you can point out. Yeah but LN also never listed dagger benchmark until recently. It was first listed at youtube by Crone, then Ryan from dP more recently. LN/SC only listed it after May 11th update. Oh you talking about firebrand 8pages one. Yeah LN is indeed listing it.

They did do balance based on SC. 42k dagger weaver had been there for almost 2 years already on youtube. But it was not on SC, so it had never been nerfed. Condi FB 8 pages benchmark not listed on SC. So Anet doesn't know. That dagger benchmark is listed on SC now, so Anet knows now and decide to nerf.

No one was talking about 42K condi weaver. Because Rev had 43.9k benchmark WITH ALLIES due to how razorclaw works. (not anymore now. since they nerf rev too) Everyone was talking about rev. That 42K condi weaver was always there, even before the primordial stance nerf. But it is Dagger, a fairly hard to use weapon since you will miss boons/dash into unintended zone with high chance and therefore missing hits/die. It is not a really realistic weapon for most of people here.

If they want "quality of life" for ele, they should change the "lesser glyph of elemental" so that it would not die when you "mount".😅 Countless amount of people have said that already.

It is also funny if you now look back at the change to "persisting flame" made last year. It is meant to buff power ele, and then remove downed "lesser lava font" and fury through blasting. Right now they nerf power ele again, and the damage was about same as before, yet ele lost the group fury through blasting and downed "lesser lava font".😂

A 16.667% nerf in terms of total damage; even more in real combat since it affects the burst. Most likely you don't have 20 seconds (with 100% burning duration) to fully roll out that damage. It is just so good and tempting to stack scourge atm. Weaver is fully dps spec. No support. Most squishy. No range (except scepter variant). Requires PERFECT BOON. Yeah it is funny. A class that is susceptible to be interrupted has lower damage than a super tanky class, which also has high self quickness, might uptime, and some self instant-cast stab.

Look at poor power soulbeast, now lower than power reaper. But yeah, I don't know why they nerf STM. Kittengger just too hard to use in real combat, for most people. Probably why SC don't list that. But I personally enjoy that a lot. Also Devastation rev (even simpler rotation now!) and Condi scourge (super forgiving rotation, if you call that a rotation at all. also so tanky) is the way to go now -_-. Don't think this alacritymirage would last long. It is just too OP atm. I just wish they change 180 cd FGS for the love of god.

38k was a bit high sustained benchamrk for a bursty power class (Yeah Chrono also...), if you compare with power weaver But the current benchamark for power soulbeast is just way too low. How can it be lower than power reaper? Even power chrono still has 39k after the nerf.

If you just look at number, it is not OP. But It is actually OP, given that how forgiving the rotation is (if you call that a rotation at all), how tanky the class is, and that the scepter is an actual range weapon. The above factors make this class strong in real combat scenarios.

I agree. This class needs some buff since other condi spec got buffed; but it wasn't that bad. Pro people can hits very great number on fights where confusion ticks a lot.

Not bad balance in terms of PVE. Basically, nerfed most meta power clkittenes burst potential: Slb, DH symbols, Holo. Good job on tuning the kittenmage between power/condi weaver. Condi weaver simply deserves higher sustained kittenmage comparing to simple power weaver gameplay style. I don't quite understand nerfing on Lightning orbs. It is the strongest skill on power tempest, yet power tempest is only viable on huge hitboxes bosses, while also has innate low critical chance. It is quite hard to achieve good number in real combat, based on my own play experience and comments from Roul from Snowcrows. The change on exposed buff is kinkitten weird. Most pug these kittenys simply stack 4 firebrand and 1 rev. It may not be the optimal compo, but really safe and strong for pugs, with the burst potential of cFB when people CC slowly, while cFB is also really easy to play. Should probably reconsider this tuning. Power chrono nerf was anticipated and kinkitten arrives too late. Condi thief is gonna be stronger. It is actually not bad atm for some boss, though not many people use it. One general trend is to nerf 10-man boost to 5-man: warrior and thief. Tho warrior can still take double stankittenrd to get 10 man but only 50% attributes boost. Not bad, since power creep was the main theme of last patch. This change will probably make speedrun record harder to break in next patch, and make pug life harder. (Not like I raid anymore.. Except for meme run like 10 rev gors 10 core profession Adina) 🙂 For WvW: The change on torment and resistance kinkitten hits condi herald hard. It is a really strong clkitten in WvW roaming and small scale fight, but is the nerf too heavy? Let's see. ----- I thought change on retaliation would be adding an internal cooldown so that fast hitting clkitten won't suffer too much torment would be increasing base kittenmage, tuning down moving kittenmage. Well, guess on torment is kinkitten right. But completely wrong on retaliation. I don't quite like the change on retaliation, since it has much higher uptime than protection in general (especially on guardian), which basically much lowered condi kittenmage taken.
