FC since the beginning. C'mon the Ferg! 11yrs and we (at least the original FC vets) still play our own game. The amount of "Thank God WR is over, I missed FC and you folks." brought a tear to my eye I'll tell ya. 🙂

I believe the best reply to these threads is the tagline that a forum vet once had many years ago which read: "Nerf your class, buff mine" It's like a diabolical circle of complaints as you read the threads flowing into one another: Eles want thief nerfed>Thief wants WB nerfed>Ranger wants Engineer nerfed (or anything with reflect)>Guardian wants Chrono nerfed>Warrior wants ele nerfed.....etc Given the poor state that WvW balance is apparently in, it's clear Anet don't take these threads in to consideration when making their adjustments. Probably for the best. Still, it makes for amusing reading on a wet, cold afternoon.

It's a fun meme build I run when I'm bored of the meta. I use the Bristleback pet merged. Secondary weapon is staff for mobility. You'd be surprised how many 'one-shot' builds run around like chickens for 3 beats then die suddenly. Very satisfying if somewhat niche.

I've had some (random) success at resetting this by zooming out/in on the mini-map. Also works sporadically for showing friendly players in mini-map. Saying this, it's still a wildly random thing if sniff works for me.

Got dumped on by a condi scourge at a shrine last evening. Took out 2 of us very quickly. Condi obviously OP (or maybe I'm just awful and the pug with me was clearly a pve weekly achiever - hmm). </s> I actually heard myself in downstate saying "Well done that player, good for you."

Interesting fact about camps is that you still get gold tier rewards automatically for flipping (as camps weren't touched in the objective rewards revamp). I have no idea if that is relevant if you are farming wxp or not and if so would it make it worthwhile to flip only camps as opposed to towers and keeps (where you may only get bronze or silver depending on your contribution and/or objective tier level)? Maybe an expert can chime in here.

Rejoice - cap trading is back and once more the new 'meta'. Get ready to hop on your ranged class, tag an NPC at an objective, sit on 5 ruins for 5 mins and AOE leech a zerg fight. Rinse, repeat. Weeklies done! Hyperbole aside, I did see a lot of this last night. I hope it calms down.

Thanks Rubi for the communication. Sadly it's late, I'm tired of the frustration of this and it's time to log. Fingers crossed it's a quick fix.

Yup - beta achievement not incrementing for a lot of players. Sadly not surprised. WvW is the forgotten mode and the QA done on it is sub-par at every turn.

Having played (again) last evening against a server that can stack 3 full maps blobs which are nigh unkillable under cannons, mortar and a nearly equivalent (but less organised pug group) blob on one map I think Mag have the right idea. Why on earth would you play a game for 'fun' against an unkillable Minstrel boon blob. We need more (viable) diversity of play in WvW - let me have my delusions 🙂.

I dropped Guardian reflective wall and Tome 3, skill 3 on door bashers most of last evening. The numbers were glorious 😘 I mean, when you're on fire you should really stop pew-pewing that door. Bags for days. 🤑

Just want to say thank you to Anet for the wonderful, and thoughtful, free gift of the Mount license. Personally, I appreciated it very much.
