On that we can agree at least - both pvp oriented modes have been on life support mostly would have loved it pvp was not so restrictive but i guess same could be said in a way for wvw ..... yes bunker builds can be an issue but what is healthyer ? restrict builds and make what ever meta that pops up all the more powerfull ? or give new tools for the players to use and make up theyr own counters instead of being shoehorned in to what ever meta those said devs decide is "best" i mean yes some stuff can be broken we are not perfect afterall . why would our creations ? but the fact stands that this is a game . and in a game especialy one without a profetional scene runing fun should take priority over "dry balance for the sake of balance "
  2. what i mean for wvw is the following World vs World over the years got borderlands map reworks . huge ones at that - especialy after heart of thorns also world vs world has access to all stat alocations available in the game provided you can craft them / buy them same with sigils and runes add ontop of that the ammount of rewards players can get with in world vs world and now atempt to compair that to what pvp has gotten 1 lobby map rework ( wich basicly destroyed server match lobby with the addition of the public arena ) few maps that basicly play the same with every other map countless build restrictions in the form of stat alocation sigils and runes selective trait balance mostly in a negative way and very few rewards for the time that one can invest in that said mode now add ontop of that those roumors going about top ladder wintrading to keep spots . weekly tournament teams and monthly tournament teams being involved in players paying irl money to win that said tournament for shiny's ....... and its not that hard to imagine someone that has invested a lot of time in that said mode to be very iritated / infuriated / angry / disapointed / fedup / outraged about all this

  4. belive me thats what ive been doing all theese years . after over 10000 matches of pvp played ...... i can safely say ive tryed everything i could to mitigate the problem ! lol
  5. That tone - that mentality - this quote - is not acceptable . Guild Wars 2 was originaly a pay to play . Plus expancions . That is buying a product , a service . If PvE is "alive" so should "WvW" and if WvW is alive so should PvP. all of them are part of what Arena Net was selling with this game . And for your information PvP is not dead . its on Life support for a wile now . You claiming that its allready dead shows how little you know about it , or how little you care about it

So we are suposed to think now days that them devs changing up some values in a spread sheet for "balance " is actual content ? ....---sigh- sheesh have some standards for your time and money investment !!! and most likely Horible balance at that if they are about to follow theyr allready established cource of action in terms of "balancing"

What im asking is for build variety ! and making pvp exiting again !- think about it - why both pve and wvw keep getting new stuff to play with ? be it siege options , build options , stat alocation options . REWORKED MAPS . bonus build layers in the form of ( masteries in pve) and wvw ranks for wvw - yet pvp ranks are ? basicly a timer for your next random chest reward ! . or how about idk new modes ? within this decade all we have gotten was conquest / stronghold . 2v2 / 3v3 ( and conquet was allways there to begin with ) for 10 years of time ?>.> am i the only one nthinking and feeling as if pvp is just left there on degrading life support >.>

  9. Not to mention minimal condition cleanse present in the utility slots . I mean conditions were ment to be exactly that - conditions to your gameplay - not DOT semi oneshot bursts !
  10. Dislexia exists - deal with it !! Also english not being the original language i learned how to speak and type play's a factor - i am self taught ! Through sheer practice .
  11. i could answer that with another question . why after investing so much time and money in a game such as this Be silent about the BS that has been going on in that said game ? Why try to ignore a problem that is known through out the player base ? Why not point it out and try to fix it ? why not strive to have something better than a semi placeholder mode ? "Oh some player are dealing with it so should you !" that is not acceptable anymore . SHOULD not be acceptable . Living in denyal is never the correct cource of action . Especialy when it has to do with an activity in wich you spend your time and money.

Honestly ? after a decade almost of enduring it in silence i refuse to embrace it any longer . i refuse to stand and wait for what ever comes my way being passive . i REFUSE to let heart of the mists to degrade any further - i REFUSE to let the vocal minority to dictate how i spent my time in pvp - i REFUSE to be strongarmed to meta's as if the mode is on rails! i belive i speak for most of the veteran players that started guild wars 2 during its release when i state that : guild wars 2 choice of balance ? the constant nerf hammers ? the concept of introducing something cool and inovating mechanic in new specs only to shread them up with constant nerfs . wile also never adding anything new to the pvp scene . exept for restrictions - it has been an infuriatin roller coaster to see your favorite game mode being left to rott away. Wile also being practicly strongarmed to blindly follow any meta that comes up if you want to be even REMOTELY close to competitive with it in any way shape or form

No more this needs to stop . for 10 years the choice of balance for arena net and the comunity was nerf nerf nerf - remove options - restrict builds - ruin speccs - change how classes play against theyr counters mostly in the negative way - and thats just NOT healthy for competitive pvping - want more competition ? add more options - buff underpowered classes - the less options available in a pvp meta the more destructive oppressive and powerfull the meta that comes out of those nerfing and restrictive balance changes WILL be !! - example - once upon a time there were builds named decap - pure bunkers - where they would through cc force a point decap - the choice of balance for that isue was to completly remove sustain through out the board and defencive amulets - in theyr entierty . where it would be much more healthy to chance the base rules a bit - like when a point is contested for 2 or more players of difrent teams and its on its neutral stage - both teams gain points per tick from it -or also along with that change the time it needs to flip if it is contected frequently - that would mean those said decap builds would get more value out of defending a point rather than decap one - also want for tanks to be less strong ? why nerf them ? give offencive builds more options - be it in stat alocations - or through runes - sigils - hell you could add a whole new layer to the pvp scene with an added passive effect tree - much like how wvw has with its ranks - come one arena net - it has been a decade trying to balance this abandoned shitfest of a gamemode with little to no success ..... you have ruined the server lobby by intruducing public arena - you have reduced front line speccs in to back line supports - you have restricted the game to the point of one allready knowing what theyr oponent will use based only on what class icon they see during the game start up counter - and if they dont ? chances are they are getting stomped so hard you dont care ! - its about time to have a change in this - a possitive change - a constructive change - move the mode forward in a fun experimental way - stop trying to shoehorn meta's like the pvp scene is just a cart runing on rails ! it has been prooven time and time again through out this decade of guild wars 2 that this does NOT work - and it only drives players away from the mode
  14. So What is warrior ? a duelist ? a Interceptor for roamters ? an Initiator ? Someone you can use to pressure key targets ? A support to his team with the correct build ? one could say all of the above before this patch kicked in . Right now ? It sure feels like someone on that balance team had a massive grudge against warrior . and his trusty greatest of the swords . What is a greatsword to a warrior ? a mobility tool . a gap closer . an all in tool to use once he has exhausted his oponen resources ! . thats what it used to be . right now it feels more like a Greatbrush rather than a great sword wieldet by a skilled fighter and an apperantly weaponmaster according to arena nets own description of the class . and yet right now . the weapon skill that has the the most downsides to its user . the 100 blades . also seems to have one of the lowest possible damage outputs compaired to the damage window it has . plus the downsides of someone actualy using it . hell some can say that now you can literaly facetank it and basicly punish the warrior for atempting to punish you for your possitioning ! . not to mention the state of the berserkers Headbutt . an ELITE skill that;s a SHORT RANGE SINGLE TARGET stun thats ALSO STUNING ITS USER that according to the claims of arena net about tradeoffs it SHOULD do at least some reasonable damage . but nope its a cc skill so it goes right down the blueberry bucket and not does less than ticklish ammounts of damage to literaly anything or anyone for that matter ! . As things are now if you wish to get more than 10 k damage on a fully cast 100 blade on a target you would need every single bit and piece of your build to be 100 % focused to pure damage potential . time those casts and activations in the correct order to stack those damage multypliers . and then stand still for the duration of that skill in order to achieve that said goal . wile IN THE SAME PATCH we got deadeyes . that can casualy teleport all around the place , stealth on every evade . and casualy blow your brains in to an other dimention with 14 -15 k bursts of damage from 1500 range . Im not sure anymore if anyone in the balance team even tests those changes you do to the game of guildwars 2 pvp. Hell if you are so commited in "balancing" this game mode wich apperantly its the only game mode you play at the moment that has limited stats you can use . limited combinations of those said stats . limited sigils . limited runes . AND limited skill damage and sandbox multypliers . !!! WHY DONT YOU JUST GIVE EVERYONE COOKY CUTER BUILDS AND BEDONE WITH PVP ? WHY NOT REMOVE CREATIVITY AND BUILD VARIETY ENTIERLY WILE YOU ARE AT IT ? eh ?!?!?! WHY NOT JUST OPEN A TEST SERVER FOR A SHORTWILE like what you had done on the release of guild wars 2 to test the servers and the game state before the actual release if you care ow so much about that delisious balance !!! . What you achieved today is the complete eradication of the sence and effect of Impact builds should have! . Im not saying it was perfect before the patch . all im saying is that you went TO FAR on the reducing damage side of things .... healthpools stayed the same ... armor ratings also stayed relatively the same . condition damage stayed close to the same since it completly ignored armor values . amulet stats also geting reduced . damage multypliers from those abilitys rediced . croud control casting times and recharges increased . wile ALSO removing any potential damage from those croud control abilitys . Add all those up together ? and you got what we got now ... and pardon my "french" ... a pile of gloryfied health dispencers that fart conditions and shit boons is what we got now . hope you are happy with the outcome . cause sure as hell noone else will be !!
