My favourite thing about if anet added housing would be the complaint threads about how heavily monetized it would be.

Just because the weapon would be something else doesn't automatically mean it would be better.

Because it got locked as it became repetitive as everything that really needs to be said was said in a very small set of posts, much like this thread so far, but it devolved and "ran it course", much like this threads future.

Fascinating how quickly some people frustrate when people don't just immediately agree with their idea.

Because people spent the best part of 5 years talking about it constantly. Threads would go on for weeks / months and when it was closed another one would pop up ~2 weeks later.

It's not very difficult to see how a) this could make the problem worse or b) just cause less people to play.

Because to some the game is fundamentally broken the second there is something that they want that they, for whatever the reason may be, can't get and thus needs to be fixed.

Andy do things the community have asked for all the time. They aren't ignoring the community, they are ignoring you. It's easy to see why. " Fire everyone", " redesign the entire game", "why are you doing something I don't like?! Can't believe you hate all your players..." Your posts are overwhelmingly sensational, offer no actual constructive feedback, are incredibly trollish, and do nothing to really further discussions besides pad the post count.

The need to read a post in full is trumped by the need to be angry at something. It's easier to cut-quote a post to fit the narrative and attempt to discredit someone that read it in full, understand it's nuance and respond. On the whole nothing you stated is really incorrect. The number of cVirt I've seen game mode wide pales in comparison to the number of pMech at it's peak.

It is, in fact, far to late to change this.

I would say mostly due to the number of skill granted due to the dual skill mechanic on thief and how they have gotten flack each elite spec release when a class has gotten only an offhand.

The only immediate thing that would happen would be your pull request being denied and your position within the company being revoked due to your inability to follow the tickets you've been assigned as they would likely be things you personally disagree with. Your job wouldn't be to make decisions, thankfully.

Why read when I can be angry? It's very surprising how many take there are out there where people haven't read, or have but haven't understood,the information and have already made up their minds to be upset and outraged.

There is also nothing fun about not knowing what to do. One of the major repeating complaints, especially for new players, is people don't know what to do or what goal to work towards. This is a step towards solving that. The game is far more vast that some people care to realize and not everyone has the inherent knowledge of "I know what is out there to do so I know what I want to do". If there is at least one "Hey what does the log say to do today / this week? I never knew this was here! I'll come back" then the system is working as intended.

I don't know if it's me but more and more these days the forum sentiment leans to the apparent problem with the game being actually having to play it according to some..

Downtime is just as important as giving people something to do.

I just don't like the posts every time reactions get brought up. It's always the same. "People are trolling with reactions. " People: "Just ignore them." "They need to actually reply or they are a coward. Engage in discussion! Voice their opinion like an adult!!". People": hi, I disagree. "Look at the trolls/white knights/ Anet apologists in the comments".
