I'm very confident the use of the API in the manner you are explaining is very legit. It is the same information you can get from the TP ingame or from sites which provide the API information. GW2BLTC.com is an example. Why do you think this provides an advantage over anyone else, as the information and API use is publicly available?

After build 99552 got released about 55 minutes ago, the v2/build endpoint is returning a http status 500 error for me with the following debug info: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.Error code="48" module="3" line="478" text="JsEngine: script terminated without sending a reply {/v2/build.:format}"/ I've also noticed the items endpoint is returning a httpstatus 400 error, with the following message: {"text": "ErrInternal"} I'm not sure if all endpoints are affected or just a few, but seems big enough of an issue to get concerned over. I hope this can be resolved quickly :). Kind regards.

Ofcourse it's not happening on purpose, no one is implying this. Though there have been multiple threads explaining what errors are happening and when, there is plenty of info out there, without any response from the dev working on the API. Actually almost every individual endpoint had drops weekend, just seems the rendering service is the one most affected by the bug or whatever it is. So even though it mainly is the rendering service being a pain, it isn't exclusive to it. Getting a bit sad there has been no response at all on any of the threads made, even though there still is a developer working on the API.

Yes also noticed this. In particular for the items endpoint it seems items are missing, for example The Moot, id: 30692. Is not returning properly for me. URL: https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/items?ids=30692 Response I'm getting: {"text": "all ids provided are invalid"}

As far as I can see the items endpoint seems to be fully working again. Just feels like an automatic server cleanup/ restart though, would be great if someone at arenanet actually can take a look, as this is the 2nd time this happens in a short amount of time.
