  1. Talking about IQ but not adding up damage from Rifle Burst Grenade to Rifle Burst when comparing it with Aim Assisted Rocket....
  2. From my point of view you don't need alac on that build. You will just use rifle AA anyway. Replace explosive trait line with tools maybe to get your mech skills more boosted and use a rune of scholar. Sanctuary reduces damage too much.
  3. The old animation made your Mech disappear from time to time due to being "in the air". Which also deleted all boons from the Mech and sometimes it was so buggy, that Mech did even not appear anymore after landing. Haven't observed this issue with new animation.
  4. They swap it because skills are sorted by cooldown, Sherlock. And since they reduce the cd of blunderbuss drastically it has now shorter cd than Net Shot. Simple.
  5. Can someone maybe explain why this patch is so bad? Sorry, haven't found much beside just a general hate. Also watched the whole 2:30h TeaTime video of MightyTeapot on youtube and still cannot identify what is wrong.
  6. I read through the patch notes and I like most of the changes. Cannot understand all the hate.

  8. I felt the same: loving scrapper with all its aspects. Felt lost and unconnected when I tried Mech. But I continued playing it and I start to love it. Just don't play this boring "all-signet" Mech. I love grenades, so I build this power based build for open world: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PegAk6lxy0YvMXWKOyLvRfA-zRZYBRDhnvYQBzhOUGtmAVUAq9RCjNwbJwlN-e Mortar combo fields with Mace#2 and #3 are nice combos, so is shield#4 and #5. Signet passives also available while they are on cooldown allows a much more active playstyle. Mech gets all your boons with Shift Signet which allows alot of nice synergies: Rune of the Pack affects your Mech twice. Buff food "Fried Golden Dumplings" not also gives yourself alot of Might with 100% crit chance and grenades (which hit 3 times) but also your Mech! Sigil of Rage does give yourself quickness but also your Mech - and due to the 100% crit chance it will always apply immediately when entering battle - which makes activating all 3 Mech Skills much more a joy (it feels much less laggy with quickness). Enjoying this actually a bit more then my so loved grenade scrapper.

  10. I agree with that. I don't agree with that: It's more like: "Very few classes have solo builds which can reach over 20k sustained DPS". Back to topic: Scrapper is known as a very nice open world spec: good damage (but solo DPS around 9k?), barrier and background healing for sustain, lack in condition remove unfortunately, decent mobility due to superspeed, nice options to break defiance bar. Mechanist gives huge damage boost (I reach 12k, you reach 14k), good sustain (Mech as a a tank, incredible background heal), better condition remove and better mobility (Switch Signet). and even better options for breaking defiance bar. Won't call it "broken AF", but hell: it is definitly S tier for open world. Or am I wrong?
  11. That's not true. Most classes can closly reach 10k continuously dps on their own. Your comment makes me think you have never ever tried to kill a golem without any group buff.
  12. That's somehow a stupid comment. I can reach 8,5k dps with my quickness scrapper on golem. I can reach 12k dps with my grenade/mortar/signets mech on golem with even a more relaxed rotation which brings also even more utility and mobility to open world. That's a huge margin."who knows how to play their class" also applies to mech and it seems like you are just an average mech so far, isn't it?
  13. Using rifle skill "Jump Shot" will let the Mech disappear alot. Especially if you use "Jump Shot" with some distance. It seems like most of the time "Jump Shot" is "too much in the air" and counts as "fyling". Unfortunately, Mech does not reappear after landing. Jumping around as f*** helps out to making him appear again. Very annyoing - makes playing rifle very frustrating.
  14. I love to run medkit on mechanist. Feels broken OP.
  15. I just want one single change for now: Add an AoE condition cleanse. That will allow us to decide between Alchemy and Inventions trait line. Currently we can't create any competitive build without Alchemy trait line.
