  1. It took me 2 visits to the local Quiznos, but I managed to get my code today.
  2. I visited my local Quizno's here in Cedar Rapids, IA. (It's ok. The other one in town struggled and closed years ago.) Their checkout screen was showing the GW2 offer, and I already have their app installed on my phone, so I figured the game code would either show up on the receipt or via the app after scanning the QR on the phone. However, the receipt didn't have any info. Meanwhile, the app still has the initial news page about the GW2 promo, but there do not appear to be any updates in the app related to a game code from the purchase. I know the QR got scanned since the sub-o-meter got updated correctly from my purchase. At this point, I have no idea how to get the game code.
  3. I wish I could trade them on TP. I currently have over 750, and since I basically never use them, they just accrue endlessly from login rewards, pvp/wvw rewards and various map completions.
  4. My guild made the transition from GW1 and remains active with members from around the world. We do missions (2 sessions for people in different timezones) twice a week. Although there has been a gradual decline in active members over the years, there are still several that login daily, and whenever I play there are usually several guild members online.
  5. GWAMM because of the work it took in GW1 to earn it."Wondrous Achiever" is next since it's the most applicable equivalent I've earned thus far from a pure GW2 perspective. "Exalted Achiever" will replace that in the near future when I reach it.
  6. The GW2 Living World Issue one features a Charr band called Metal Legion, and page 14 shows a B&W stylized picture of the band along with their tour locations. Any chance that this could be made into a concert t-shirt (image on front, tour locations on back)? I would happily buy one! Link to the magazine for anyone who hasn't seen it: https://s3.amazonaws.com/guildwars2.com_uploads/livingworldmagazine/icebroodsaga_magazine_EN/13-14/index.html
  7. Main thing I'd like to see is updates to the spear to make it also become land-usable for all classes that can currently use it underwater.
  8. These are my primary reasons for continuing to play GW2: I haven't found a better gameI have friends that playThere are still things left that I hope to one day obtain or accomplish
  9. It was OK the first time. It wasn't nearly as fun the 2nd time, and even less the 3rd time... You get the picture. After doing it across 8 characters, I haven't found the drive to do it for any more. At my rate of crafting legendaries (only 4 since launch), my supply of Gifts of Exploration should last me for many years to come.
  10. GW3 and new races aren't likely, so I'd recommend nixing those entirely from the poll. Some of the others are viable. New armor skins or possible updates to existing armor skins to add some much needed armor diversity would be huge sellers for me.
  11. Neither! - Work on adding more armors for existing races instead.
  12. Depends on what you mean by "drop". I've gotten 3 from tossing rare/exotic weapons in to the mystic toilet, and one from a PvP rank-up/reward chest.
  13. Including more fantasy-themed armors like this (for males and females, of each race) would greatly improve the armor diversity in GW2. The current armor offerings in GW2 are still not appealing to some players' tastes, and adding more options like this for armor styles would help make the game more inclusive. As I've learned in yearly corporate meetings over the past few decades, improving diversity (among not only people but also products) and inclusiveness (among not only employees but also customers) are fundamental goals that any company should strive for. Adding armor choices like this is an obvious positive step toward both. Note - offering these types of skins as outfits instead of armor pieces could be an acceptable compromise.
  14. I voted "For Fun", but it's really a mix of things. Fun is the most important, but the chance at rare loot is also a factor, as are achievements for some of the bosses. I'm still a ways off from completing the Shatterer achievements so that's the one I tend to do more often.
  15. No new races. GW1 got it right with just 1 playable race. Having five in GW2 is already too many since each one just adds unnecessary overhead to adding certain types of content (armor, skill animations, voice acting, etc). Don't make this worse than it already is.
  16. but I haven't tried it yet Looking at the numbers on the wiki both the #1 and #2 are still better on longbow. Higher base damage and better scaling with power.Even after the recent buffs, warrior rifle is still bad. Fixing the problem with warrior rifle will take more than just damage boosts - the weapon skills need a fundamental overhaul and redesign.
  17. It's not, 3 and 5 actually do a fair bit of damage and 4 is a very useful breakbar contribution especially when you have stability. (Also 5 is great for mobility). It's the weapon used in the meta PVE holosmith raid build right now. You don't stay there and camp it of course but it does get used. ^This. Engi rifle is ok. On the other hand, warrior rifle is underwhelming. If Warrior LB is supposed to be their condi weapon, Rifle should probably be more of a power weapon. However with the current skills, it really doesn't fit well for power or condi builds. It likely needs an overhaul, but there are other more glaring balance issues that should be tackled first.
  18. When doing analysis on mystic coin uses, those should probably be excluded. Most of the lower-level food recipes can probably be excluded as well. Only some of the higher level feasts are worthwhile. Furthermore, any recipe costs with mystic coins are 1-time costs, similar to the guild hall upgrades. By comparison, if you use them to make clovers, that's a recurring cost. Equipment (exotic weapons) and clovers are very likely the main sinks for mystic coins.
  19. I suspect there are a lot of PvE players that don't realize there is an alternate method to obtaining mystic clovers. I was in that exact situation way, way back, and I never knew about all the cool stuff you can get from PvP/WvW tracks. I was also very hesitant to try those modes (especially PvP), but I eventually gave them a try. I'm so happy that I did since doing PvP/WvW dailies to advance those reward tracks have turned out to be well worth the small effort. My primary reason for doing them has been to unlock armor skins, and the clovers I've earned along the way were more of an afterthought. But it was really nice to have over 200 on hand when I decided to craft another legendary during the past year. That's why I like to bring this up. For people trying to craft legendaries very quickly or many per year, doing reward tracks is likely not a good option. But for casual PvE players, some of whom may be struggling to get the clovers for their very first legendary, getting several of their clovers from PvP/WvW reward tracks is definitely an option to consider, and it's quite possibly an option that they are completely unware of.
  20. For players doing this the first time around, the unrepeatable tracks that award 7 clovers is what makes doing the PvP/WvW reward tracks much more attractive. It appears there are currently 3 of reward tracks that give 7 clovers (Verdant Brink, Auric Basin, Tangled Depths) so those would be the ones to do first. With just a few minutes in PvP/WvW each day, they could easily obtain 42 clovers (3 x 7 from PvP track versions plus 3 x 7 from WvW track versions) which is well over half the number needed for a legendary.
  21. Not everyone does sPvP or WvW enough to make obtaining clovers from those reward tracks worth it. An hour or so of farming yields considerably more clovers (through coins) than 10 hours of reward tracks. Even if that turned out not to be true... one hour vs ten.You don't need to spend anywhere near that much time in PvP or WvW to get the rewards. Just a few minutes each day doing dailies earns several Potion of PvP/WvW rewards, and within a few weeks it's easy enough to complete a reward track. Some tracks give up to 7 clovers. If you're not doing PvP/WvW dailies, you're missing out on these valuable yet nearly free rewards. I've earned well over 200 clovers by doing this, yet I have barely spent any time in those game modes. That's why I have a very hard time understanding why players insist on wasting mystic coins to make clovers since there are easier ways to get them.
  22. Are people seriously wasting coins to make clovers? mind-boggling
