So just interesting community thinks nothing interesting but one of the top gaming companies thinks otherwise
That is not what your poll asked.
Not wanting Palworld elements in GW2 does not indicate that one finds nothing interesting about Palworld. I do not want strawberry icecream blended into my tomato basil soup, that does not mean that I dislike strawberry icecream.

"They" spend time updating the wiki to make things easier and more accessible. "They" aren't the game devs, so what more do you expect them to do?
"They" also volunteer to help people with whatever is giving them a problem. Ive lost count of how many times people like Vayne has done so.

so I think some gratitude from a corporation for that is warranted
Which has already been provided. We have access to skins and titles that no one who did not play GW1 can ever have.
And, do remember that someone who came on board the game in 2015 could very well have supported the game and studio far more than someone who got their GWAMM back in 2010. There is nothing inherent to having the GWAMM title that indicates a level of financial support for the company beyomd buying GW1.

Yeah, not to fond of automatic zoom either. A toggle might be nice....or at least an options setting.

you're kidding right, these are litterally gw1 veterans who came to gw2. what do you care if they're rewarded with a font color lol. there would be no gw2 if it wasnt for us.
you can still go earn gwamm today, so go play gw1 and get it yourself
Not sure that I would want to get it again.
Its been going on 12 years. I am over rewards I earned in a completely different game....aren't you?
And it wasnt just GWAMM that funded GW2, it was all GW1 purchasers. I dont ask for special rewards when I buy a coke now just because I drank a lot of it decades ago.

I dont think it is so much a, "design flaw," as it is a design decision, like so many others, that not everyone enjoys. I dont consider the existence of jumping puzzles in GW2 to be a design flaw so much as they are content that does not appeal to me.

I do not see the point of adding additional account value for people who played a different game a decade or more ago. The initial purpose of pursuing all of those gw1 titles, namely keeping people engaged so that they were more likely to buy gw2, has been fulfilled.

I wonder how the people who made the youtube video guides and the wiki articles managed to get it done? Perhaps they engaged in independant thought for themselves?

Not really my cup of tea but I am happy for those who like it and am glad to see people spending money to support the game.

I understand what you are saying but I don't agree with your conclusions. In this post and others you are essentially saying Anet have got greedy and have put too many hooks into SOTO to force people to buy the expansion to compete in combat/gameplay.
But I think it's pretty indisputable that the combat/gameplay "hooks" in SOTO are weaker than they were in HoT, PoF and EoD. Each of those expansions had elite specialisations which added significant combat options (and also a bit of power creep as demonstrated by the fact that Snowcrows doesn't list any core professions on its DPS charts, only elite specs). You need those HoT, PoF, EoD elite specs much more than you need SOTO's weapon specs and SOTO specific relics.
So why are you losing it so much over SOTO? If anything it demonstrates less greed and less hooks than previous expansions.
He answered that question in the post you quoted.
He mentioned ANet, "cheaping out," in reference to content. The issue being using gear-grind like mechanics INSTEAD of deep, engaging, expensive to produce, playable content to sell an expansion...as opposed to (for example) HoT and PoF where the elite specs were part of an overall much deeper, engaging, playable content heavy, feature intensive, release. Again, it is the, "instead of," rather than, "in addition to," that is the issue raised.

I can think of two off the top of my head. Context, and tutorialization. Two things players have routinely complain about when they skip it.
You don’t know stupid until you were in Bloodstone Fen, and people still don’t know to press Special action when the red beam hits them. And they wonder how they got one shot.
Even then. The number of people who can’t beat the boss in head of the snake, despite spending the last 3 story missions throwing blood stone shards at things to break shields, is mind boggling.
I dont see how that applies to having access to a new weapon for your preferred class so you can play a given build in a strike mission (as just one example).
Edit: to be clear, I do prefer the new mechanical aspects of a release to be available early on so that I can play the new content with them, but am not upset about playing a chapter or two first. Then again I may be "spoiled" by having huge quantities of WvW currencies at my disposal.

Weird that this would be moved to the professions tab.

I dont see the benefit of locking gameplay features behind story content. Those who enjoy the story were going to do it anyway while pushing story on those disinterested in it seems more likely to drive them away from the game than it is to get them interested in the story. No upside.

In general the use of effects on screen or around the border to represent a variety of statuses, etc, is really very cool.

Saying that paying for something is not the same as getting it for free is not a matter of semantics, it is a matter of being honest and accurate.

since when you use the turtle ? only in eod cause you have to use them , i legit see probably 1 person in all meta evens on heart of thorns , like whats the point of a dmg mount that run out of ammo , you also use it in dragonstorm for ccs , scale massenger mount aint gonna do anything to the ccs the turtle do , like whats is this argtuments lol , im sorry but i try to understand whats that have to do with killing the turtle , give me more details please , cause this is irrelevant.
Not at all irrelevant. You are asking for a feature to be copied from arguably the least usefull mount to the one that already has the greatest utility. This would lessen the relative value of the Turtle.
Personally I see the turtle in use in a broad spectrum of OW maps. I am assuming that this is because of the multiple rider function or aesthetics. Regardless, Ive seen no compelling justification for increasing the utility of the highest utility mount let alone at the cost of the uniqueness of a lesser mount.

you missed the point lad , its not a buff , its more like a cool feature for friends or people you wanna help , also whats that have to do with the turtle ? most soto maps require a skyscale , and a turtle is so worthless with the lack of movement speed , its very rarely used unless its mandatory for meta openings.
Making the turtle less useful by giving its biggest advantage to the most useful mount in the game wouldnt help with that.

I would enjoy being able to name my minipets so that my beast master themed Ranger could have have his actual pets, his minipet, and perbaps even his rune summon pet.....oh, never mind. I changed the build when I lost the summon.

I dont think that giving the mosf versatile mount in the game features of other mounts is a good idea. Right now the Turtle has a couple of points of uniqueness. Giving one of them away to a higher utility mount seems like a bad idea.

You might want to double check the /age of your account.
Dailies serves as a mechanic to manipulate its players' addiction mentality, given this thread I'd say it's working as intended, and very effectively.
So, when I dont bother with dailies or weeklies its an indication of addiction?

I've never considered someone saying, "We will pay you X to do Y," to be some form of psychological manipulation. If I dont want to do it I dont.
