I think the random skins were a terrible idea. It is hugely unfair to the players, especially for paying customers. They could have at least allowed us to select "random" mounts by narrowing down to the type of the (jackal, griffon, etc). I personally would have preferred to just pick from a list of 30 new types each one I wanted. That way everyone is happy. They get my money and I get exactly what I want. By the way, ANET has changed items in the past. When the flamekissed skins were released the Light set looked exactly like the T3 Human Light set and it was about 30 gold (+/-) cheaper to get the gemstore set than to buy the cultural set. Afterwards they offered people the option of a refund if they didn't like the new set or to keep the set. So ANET could totally change the packaging system and offer refunds.
