  1. Meaningful to them. They want to run in the blob and flip things with no resistance. Mission accomplished.
  2. Move to the DB/SBI link. EBG had a queue on reset, the rest of the maps were open. Home BL was outnumbered. Just a weeks before, all maps were queued (though by only single digits). I wonder what changed....... <sarcasm>
  3. Their cornerstone has crumbled. This last set of changes were ill-conceived. They just play in blobs and want to take structures easier. Much like all those they mentioned alliances, they're just play lip service to game balance - both by player class and by game mechanics. My playtime is way down since this change. Maybe that's a good thing, but I think its going down for a lot of other people and that's probably not a good thing for anet.
  4. Anet doesn't listen one bit to any of us. If you're not a blob PPT commander, they have no time for you. This last set of terrible changes was just icing on that confirmation cake.
  5. Confirmed. Anet only wants you to blob around and take objectives. They hate defenders, they're barely even giving lip service to it now. I makes sense. The few Anet devs who play just run with the blob so, of course, they're going to change the game to their own way of playing. Sad that they're so short sighted.
  6. Anet doesn't want you to defend. They want you to join the blob and overwhelm smaller groups.
  7. The do need to hire one more person for the WvW team so the other coder can play cribbage with someone.
  8. All you need to do is looks through the lens of an Anet wvw participant. They blob on structures. All changes are made to make that task easier.
  9. No truer words have ever been spoken. I miss Taimi like a malignant tumor.
  10. Anet does like the blobs and they buff the things they like.
  11. Anet already did their vote and responded accordingly. Leave it be.
  12. Latest in a long list of people who are upset that others aren't playing they way they want them to.
  13. Anet lied about wvw being a cornerstone. Its hasn't quite reached the level of afterthought, but its on its way. They're certainly not going to spend precious development time fixing decade old bugs in a game mode they probably wish they hadn't made.
  14. I delete a stack of obsidian shards at least once a month. At some point I hoped they'd have a check box 'never ask for confirmation again'. Other than confirming character deletion, I don't think they need anything beyond a Confirm Yes/No option for anything in the game.
  15. This thread and your response pretty mimics the recurring 'gift of battle' threads over in the wvw section: "I want it but I don't want to do the thing that everyone else had to to get it."
  16. Just another version of others need to play the way I expect them to and not how they want.
  17. Someone is making up their own definition of what 'pay to win' means and then complain because, oddly enough, the game they're playing matches that new definition.
  18. Yes to this. I keep 5k in the bank and still throw out at least a stack every month. Those wvw and pvp reward tracks pile them up.
  19. Dungeons, Fractals, DRMs, Strikes, Rifts... Just a long line of content that will be the 'thing' that will solve all the problems. WvW, changes coming... soon. Our favorite bedtime story 🙂
  20. I'm all for them not changing a thing. There are bigger issues to address than changing the acquisition method of something that's already easily earned.
  21. Alliances are not dead. Anet just keeps stringing it along. Its a ten week project being stretched out to ten years.
  22. Having things that cost 1000 and having rewards of 500 means someone has to fenagle their way (buy things they may not want) just to cash in something they've done to get the thing they actually want. If Anet wants a cap to control how people use the system, they should bump it to at least the cost of the highest priced item plus the amount of the highest cash in. Based on the initial release items, that would be 1500 points.
  23. I foresee a cluster that mirrors the poorly thought out template/build system. Instead of careful thought and planning, it'll be a lot of grand proclamations that don't remotely work out.
  24. The only reason the story lasted as long as it did is because that NPS t.a.l.k.e.d.......s...o........s....l.....o...w....... I don't know who filled out the ID-10-T form for that, but I hope they feel bad.
