Yeah, and that seems to be the case, at least for me. I get a 'lot' of other saltwater collection fish than what I'm looking for when I go out. There doesn't seem to be any reason to it either, they seem to come before I have lots of boat stacks and later when I do. Whether I have my food or not. I'm going to try moving around more, to all the things in the list @Inculpatus cedo.9234 listed, and mix in way more open water casts in those areas, and just try to move around more. Was starting to wonder if there was a trick to that fish. The wiki has a trivia for the fish and wasn't sure if that was some sort of in game hint or just a worldly bit of fun fish facts.

I've been fishing for a little over an hour in Mount Maelstrom (lots of saltwater fish pools and open water), and I've gotten the following fish from the Avid Saltwater Fisher collection (eating 150 power food, jade fishing lure +100 power, striped pole +25 power, shrimp bait, 74 boat stacks - total: 825 power): 3 - Seahorses 2 - Leafy Sea Dragons 5 - Mantis Shrimp 2 - Electric Eels 0 - Rockfish 0 - Horseshow Crab 1 - Sea Robin 0 - Redfin Barb 0 - Googly-Eyed Squid 1 - Shimmering Squid 0 - Vampire Squid (I need!) 2 - Flapjack Octopus (too early for flapjacks?) 1 - Aurelian Herring 1 - Red Gurnard I have been fishing a hole, then throwing 2-3 open water casts before moving to another hole. Is there 'anything' I can do differently to get that Vampire? I wish they had some sort of scaling system where the longer you fish and do 'not' get what you are missing from a given collection, it slowly starts improving your odds of getting a missing fish when a fish from that table is drawn compared to a duplicate...but never 100% or guaranteed unlock. Who knows, maybe they already have something in place for that and I'm just extremely unlucky. Been at this a week now, trying to fish an hour a day. Spent a lot of time in Seiteng (sp?), this is my second day in MM.

Well, legendary material. The new essence things? I mean, we don't have 60K material storage. ☺️ If it's something that needs to physically be used, add the ability, for some currencies, to convert the currency to item (button on currency tab) and back again (right-click context menu when clicking on applicable item stack).

I'm enjoying it! Already do octo almost daily, and occasionally visit VB for events to keep in crowbars for my home instance chest, so mostly keep familiar with my favorite events to do. TD is a little harder for me, was never really good at that. I have lots of mystic coins, but recently realized I got behind in clovers for a project I'm working on, and am burning through them faster than I'm getting them. Nice to have open world boosts to get coins besides the 3 you can get from ley lines (which, are kinda hard for me to hit all 3 scheduled times).

Adventure So which adventures count for "Going the Vertical Distance"? I just did the Roller Beetle Training in Kessex, and it did not count. Update: I did Diessa (sp?) and it worked. Had to do the trial 3 times, which would make sense as a single race is 3 laps (right?). Seems like maybe that training one wasn't included because it was 'way' too short. It was on the list, I tried. 😊

It was great for me. I really wanted the armor. Made all three sets. Had no legendary armor before. Only the 3 accessories many have, and a Bifrost I made like 10 years ago. I made 1 legendary rune to get the relic, and am now working on the other 6 runes. Was thinking about now working on other weapons and maybe some sigils, but am hesitant with everything else going on. I enjoyed all the content I used to get there, and enjoyed the new content.

I'd probably be out. I'd be sad, for sure. I have no idea what it would have, but I have a pretty good idea as to what it wouldn't have, and I would miss that.

That is just awesome. Do they ever move the black lion items into a place where you can buy them with statues down the road? I'd really like that, but super unlucky.

I'm close, 249 ectos to go for my 3rd set. It's the only mat left that I need to complete. I think the only reason I had so many to start was I had banked a 'lot' of them when the prices dropped below 14s and I just refused to sell them, having seen prices as high as 23s. So now I don't have any to sell, but then I didn't have any to buy. I could buy the remaining, but I'm close enough I should be done in less than a week. I'm suspecting I'll need gold on the next project I want to work on, so I don't want to waste it on something I can grind out myself. I did the 9 large chests in Archie Peglego every day. If you are real lucky you get a yellow out of every one. Also be sure to do an Octo if you can once a day (I open the spaceships and bigger chests but not the small ones, because keys), and then I do as many world bosses as I can squeeze in, and Dragonstorm (2 gold and few items). I think all the new metas drop lots of the yellow weapons with no sigils in them for collections and such, so those are also a good source if you are already doing them for other resources (though admittedly a little on the longer side).

I've killed like 20-30 things, but only have 4 kills. I suspect it's because what is kill things is the dots and not the pistol? Guess I'll try some ambient creatures.

It wasn’t all that bad. I did 6 map completes with characters and elected to do 12 more with my main. I joined when I saw it advertised. I advertised a few times myself. Don’t think I waited more than 15-30 min to start. Always stayed to do the final steps once it opened. Think we failed maybe once or twice, though not important to getting the lantern.
