  1. Actually you got MUCH more than this over the course of the 15-20 Hour core story. There's been several decent bags of crafting materials. More bags of unidentified gear than you can shake a stick at and at least 2 Black Lion Keys. Countless gear upgrades, many of them level relevant....the list goes on. Basically you've said it's 15-20 hours of content but for some reason you (and only you) only saw a reward from the final mission. And since we all know that is a load of baloney... Starting your argument with this level of intellectual dishonesty sucks any value from the rest of your post. It's clear you are engaging in false rhetoric rather than actual discussion. But by all means continue your diatribe about how the Big Nose Ted encounter isn't rewarding enough, or how pressing F to beat Victory or Death should give LI. Quality content.
  2. I inferred only that I don't think LotRO's level of success was worth emulating. At no point did I infer failure. I know false rhetoric is tasty... but truth is tastier. You should try it.
  3. Stop clicking your skills and use hotkeys. This is the function of the current setup. It forces you to stop skill clicking so that you can focus your attention on positioning and tells.
  4. Making BOE versions of these weapons drop from HoT content would address these issues in a far simpler way. How many weeks of gating do desert specialization weapons take? Seriously,... think before posting.
  5. 31g an hour for Drizzlewood/Dragonfall is a number that was avergaed out from a large number of people doing the content reporting and aggregating DATA provided to the Fast Farming community. I'm really unsure what your problem with factual discourse is.
  6. An awful player pressing 1 at Drizzlewood or Dragonfall earns over 30g an hour. The idea that this game rewards skillful play is hilarious.
  7. You wouldn't feel this way if you'd been given decent advice. Unfortunately what's obvious is that a great number of people who answered you were doing so in a largely theoretical context rather than with any real experience or data. The answer is to solo the repeatable HoT hero points. These are champions that are not on timers and who's loot is actually far better than the average open world champ. If you are decent and clearing them in a relatively speedy manner, the money is actually some of the best money you can get solo. This will of course, be highly dependant on your build, skill level and ability to handle more than just the HP sponges like Mordrem Flower. I did pretty much only this for 5 weeks and by liquidating everything , I made enough for a Upgrade Extractor (2400g). The "next best" gph will be regularly soloing DRMs because of the high roll potential on some of the reward boxes. But this involves a fair bit of trash mob clearing. Soloing fractals, dungeons, Desert bounties is sexy and all but absolutely awful rewards, and something I will only do while build testing. As you've noted, these forums have become an absolutely awful place to ask questions like yours. Players on this forum are perfectly happy to pass along garbage posts, and offer complete misinformation, and speak for the developers...on topics that they clearly have ZERO actual experience on just to pretend they are being helpful and watch their post count go up.
  8. I've seen some trash takes on this forum lately but this one might be most disconnected from reality. New World's failure has zero to do with Streamers. They released an incomplete game that tanked it's own economy via lax programming that allowed item/currency duplication. It's janky code allowed players to avoid taking damage simply by running in windowed mode and jiggling the window. Players could post html code in the chat window and obscure other people's UI. The game itself was a clusterkitten. Blaming streamers, because there was a setting to hide thier personal info is some next level garbage,
  9. I really don't understand why people assume he's never played the game because he does not like it. It's been very public more times than I can count that he HAS played the game. To the cap. And all he ever enjoyed was wvw and the JPs. How many times does he have to say "Guild Wars SUCKS" before people stop this pathetic assumption that he has not played the game? He didn't like it for some very solid reasons.
  10. Can you imagine the outrage of the 23 people who actually wanted this feature. if you make them actually play this game?
  11. This is a myopic view of balance and shows that you do not understand the concept.
  12. What about people who want to play with their friends? Do you have any data to back up your claim this would not negatively impact them? Seriously... I've met all kind of boosties. Many of them were better players within a week than a lot of wing-wearing,.aura spamming, 366 Mastery, Multiple Legendary, Gemstore warriors I see in open world. The ship has sailed on threads like these. They are nothing but humblebrags by players looking for validation of their commitment to the game as if it automatically denotes higher skill.
  13. Those players are capped just like you are. Logic is hard huh?
  14. It's going to take more than facts and common sense to combat the hyperbole and false rhetoric spread by those in this thread who are determined to police other people's teams.
  15. Throw all the shade you want. The fact that I am being villified for suggesting someone playing group content should run a group build is all you need to know about this thread.
  16. This is some truly staggering garbage rhetoric. Comparing the functionality of two build template systems for the same game is actually a very fair comparison. In fact comparing the functionality of a system created for free by a single unpaid hobbyist, and the system delivered by a team of paid for programmers is unfair only to the former and not the latter. The build template system as implemented, while polished and feature rich, did a number of people in this community dirty. It's purposely introduced yet another low-threshold system who's solution was found in the cash shop, and was designed to punish people who engaged with it financially... the most dedicated and ardent fans of this game. For you to come on this thread and attempt to sell some rhetoric that "the system is fine because they aren't changing it" to shout down the feedback from the players negatively impacted is the height of your bad-faith arguments on this forum.
  17. I had forgotten who you were until..... Then I realized you have a very long history of confronting people offering salient advice with ridiculous statements like that until called out over them....at which point you tend to spew some weird incoherent "word soup" of improperly used MMO industry jargon and often going back to edit your responses several days after posting. Seen you do it a half dozen times now. I'll pass.
