  1. If I wanted to respond to a post and replace its idea with my own idea, I would have posted that in the first place instead of responding.
  2. Your solution is in direct conflict with your ideal WvW. A decently even WvW require lots of players. Splitting it up into 3 modes is a really really bad idea for this because each mode will suffer from people playing the other modes. SPvP has been doing this for years and just look at that travesty. It’s the same reason arguing a “better EoTM” is a bad idea because in very simple terms more people in EoTM = less players in actual WvW. It has its purpose as an overflow, not a replacement.
  3. And there will be many, many more examples. People thinking this particular change was unrequested are delusional. JuSt KIll tHE gOLeM isn’t a way to brush it of either, as usual it’s a question of extremes and some people have a tendency to be very extreme when it comes to abusing something that is “normally” not an issue. Seeing a golem in a T1 camp isn’t a big deal when you come with 50 people. Seeing 5 golems in a T3 camp in the middle of the night when there is two people on the map is.
  4. If 1-3 randoms on the map is enough to make a zerg loose against another zerg, that commander has a bigger problem than randoms.
  5. Indeed, if I'm not mistaken it was a ~10,000 gold paywall Anet introduced for features we already had before. This mystic coin issue is a kitten in the ocean in comparison.
  6. Elaborate what? The change is so typical Anet. It literally defines their whole patching/balancing philosophy - if the community want 10%, Anet does 50% and then spend years nerfing it. If the community thinks 100% is a little too much, Anet does 20% and spend years buffing it. Every. Kitten. Time.
  7. Same as saying the Tesla Cybertruck isn’t a solution to anything. I mean it’s a piece of overhyped, overpriced buggy garbage but people still want it.
  8. Ok thats WvW today described, but what about alliances?
  9. Well if you prefer the other option of 6+ months between relinks and 3x DBL for that duration...
  10. On the flipside, I cant even begin to count the times some bent tool motherkitten has repaired the wall right in our faces that we where using as flanking opening to attack the enemy zerg and we then conveniently end up between a solid wall and a rabid zerg. At least this change stops that.
  11. Cornerstone still not fixed. Aaaaaaaaaaaany year now. Lol at the reason for moving synthesizers and tactivators.
  12. Someday, someone should sit down and list all the features and gameplay updates that’s been added since the time Anet has refused to fix a small square shaped cornerstone of DBL garrison, as its invisible on 2 out of 4 tiers. Then calculate the devtime for those features vs the devtime for fixing a missing mesh that already exist with different textures.
  13. Except, it's not really about "numbers" anymore. It's only about how invulnerable of a boonball you can stack. Many zergs that people call boonballs arent actually that, they have a tiny core and the rest PUGs. Once a true boonball reach critical size and start cycling boons, bubbles and barriers indefinitely - which is really only around 30 people - no amount of PUGs up to map cap can stop them unless they also bring an equivalent boonball. The failures usually lie with the commanders moving too far in one go so that people cant keep up with the ball circles and thus get picked off (with many commanders not giving a kitten if anyone goes down, huge difference if they maintain their peeps), not with the actual numbers.
  14. And then they probably realized players dont give a kitten because the core of GW2 is just a plain MMO not an MMORPG. If anything it's only gotten "worse" with story NPCs now spewing out random wordsallad for minutes. I'm sure some players will care, but for the other 99% of the playerbase any moral choice would just be clicking randomly to get it over with.
  15. Nothing to do with resistance. I was talking about Deathly Chill.
  16. Anet made random, illogical changes no one requested or wanted loooooong before the rise of AI. My favourite remains orchestrating the rise of the condi meta in WvW by a single unnecessary change, ignoring the outrage for almost a year, releasing an expansion that replaced the meta with an even better meta and then a couple weeks after that they finally nerfed the skill on a build nobody played anymore to the ground. The question should instead be whether AI has learned by looking at Anet.
  17. Engineer kit swapping is vastly superior even with “only” one sigil set because it allows you to swap on demand. An example would be engaging an enemy with a rifle, swapping to toolkit for pull, smack em with the wrench, flip back to rifle to knock them back and jump attack, flip back to toolkit to block their counterattack, teleport away (if mech), flip back to rifle to range them again, etc and so on.
  18. Ok so what are you going to do when you have the same situation again with medium, high, very high and full worlds after a few months because people transfer, stop playing or even start playing for that matter? … automatically rebalance world populations every few months to maintain this overall balance? No. That sounds like a silly idea.
  19. Because it’s designed as an elite spec weapon. They are all made to be better in every regard over core which which had a heavy condition or power split. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s the reason balance is complete clusterkitten.
  20. It already is instanced per tier. That’s literally the whole WvW map system.
  21. https://wvwintel.com/ is also available if you want objective status.
  22. If the guilds have researched keep claiming but zero objective auras then it's most definetly the guilds direct fault.
