Well, if you don't enjoy Zerg fights and only want to roam around and make some small scale stuff, dead servers are quite nice, so i stay.

I really hope they change the server or ranking system, so your joke rings true, because his server has risen... to a new game mode. xD The Gandara and FSP problem was one of the reasons why Kodash is now a ghosttown, we were perma locked as full and fought against Links with 2-3 Servers and BB which back then were never full, due to being the only spanish server. So you both have my sympathy.

Soooo the mass transfering over the past 5 years have been a protest against dead servers, when there were no dead servers? WTJs are a funny bunch of people. xD

Quite funny that you an Burial flamed me in the german forums due to my dislike of Drakkar, but you 2 are constantly advocating for Kodash and Miller to be closed, because they are Ghosttowns, that i can understand but why Arbotstone? They are at least somewhat active and the new link seems to suit them well. Other servers struggle more or at least the same imo, the likes of Vizo, Dzago, Jade and in some parts Abaddon are struggling too. FoW has been hit quite hart the past weeks with nearly 100 players leaving the server and from what i saw in the last 2 weeks with them in the link: they did contribute slightly more players in zergs than kodash. It's to early to judge them by that, but man they really got hit hart. In terms of Kodash, yeah we are a ghosttown, but leave us ghosts alone please. Many of us stopped playing due to the last 2 links, because A.) yeah we don't like Drakkar and B.) FoW first being on strike and then the above mentioned player loss. At least from the inititial few hours the new links seems to be quite fine.

Depends on the Tier and the MU, right now i would say T5 is a wasteland, because most players (me included) don't want to play against WSR and just wait for them to climb upwards.

Uhm FoW is as dead as kodash now, after most of them transfered to WSR. xD I still think they should scrap alliances, kill all servers, make new ones and limit the ability to transfer to 1 in 6 month.

That happens if you put a fight player in a dev position. Nerfing everything that was stopping them to cap something is a clear sign of the dev team who don't know what they are doing.

Well the whole distribution is a mess, at the start i got put in a link without my guild, without my friendlist and without anyone from my server, which was quite confusing since i picked my guild for WvW. Even worse, friday they got linked back to the server i was on and i was happy to play with them... but now I GOT transferd away to the next random team where i knew noone, what the? xD We had the same problems with other guild members, where some of us were put in completly wrong matchups full of uncoordinated people like us, because rarely 2 people know each other. Apart from that problem, the balancing is... questionable at best. We have no q on the Weekends, while the other servers are steamrolling over all maps and from what i heard from them was, that they had quite high qs on theire maps. So the inbalance in player distribution has not been fixed too. What a strange system that fixes none of the current problems, but gives us complety new ones.

Bandwagoning and mass transfers are completly out of control and a reason why WvW is in it's miserable state, but that's another matter. Even with the linking problematics, it was at least possible to get a reset planned with your home server, with alliances you can't even do that, because noone knows where he ends up in the end, due to a broken algo and the never ending bugs in all the betas.

So... again we got thrown around into different teams just for the lulz?

Wait are they? Oh kitten... i have not played with my guild yet, but if everyone has different objectives it will be a clownfiesta guild internaly. xD

I think the worst thing is, that i played WoW the past 2 month and Baldurs Gate 3 lately and now i see how Gw2 turned more into WoW, while BG3 showed me what is wrong with all those systems and that i want the simplicity of Gw1 and early Gw2 back. Gotta say, i regret buying this addon and got blinded by the great End of Dragons addon... same with Legion to BfA back in the WoW days.

Sadly, since i played 2 month of WoW lately i can confirm that it feels that way... which is very disappointing.

Drakkar was always considered the worst german server skill wise. Drakkar now is not well liked by theire former link partners for activly trying to "buy" commanders which results in parts of the server transfering to Drakkar too. Drakkar got a lot of players from Miller and Kodash and are therefore now overstacked, but lack the skill, motivation and game mode knowledge to win anything. Only things they can do is PPT in the offtimes and cry in the forums.

As a former night timer commander who invaded the Baruch TS with a Fiesta Bot i can assure you: they are good sports, be nice to them @Jade. Drakkar forver alone, well deserved. :D

So where is the change from right now? xD But on a serious note, the supplies should be back to pre nerf, because they were never a problem to begin with. Dunno who complaint about them, but i have a slight feeling it was a person with 3 letters starting with R. xD

Sounds a lot like you are paired with Abaddon (since Kodash has no leads or activity in the TS xD). But yeah i get your point, even though iam quite fine with speaking english, it's nowhere near as fun to join a EN Discord Server then the time GER Kodash had regular commanders and a group of friends around german speaking people.

To be honest, they should have just left it as it was. I don't care who repairs walls or doors, at least someone is doing it and let them have a reward. Noone is complaining about the Blobbs running around mindless pressing one skill and getting loot for it, so who complains about some randoms repairing stuff and getting loot for it? Oh and to add something there, the decrease in defense supplies is such a Roy thing to implement, please just switch it back.

When GW 3 is released.

I guess you miss my point, what i meant was that the Alliance system won't solve the overstacking problem. We will get 1 or 2 very strong alliance powerhouses who will steamroll over everything (like WSR+Vaabi is doing right now), maybe 2 alliances like Drakkar with PVD focuses elderly people who are theire for the fun and at the end we will have x random alliances with everyone mixed despite language barriers etc. If Anet would have restricted the transfering, maybe close 1 Tier and give out a free transfer for everyone to remix the servers, it would have taken way less ressources, did not implement new systems (which don't work) and we wouldn't be beating around bushes for how many years now? xD

Looking at the EU T1... yiep it will. Been saying it for years and years: the problem is not the mode itself, its unrestricted transfering which should be restricted to 1 transfer half a year or even a year.

What i was hoping for regarding the german servers: Drakkar - solo bc they are overstacked anyway Elona getting linked with Kodash - because very high and medium is an okay link Aba getting linked with Dzago or Miller - Still a high server with potential to be very high and a medium server which is actually high when the people are playing insteat of semi striking (Miller) What we got: Drakkar getting linked!? with Miller - what a joke Elona getting linked with Aba - ha... Kodash getting paired with Underworld - because reasons Dzago getting linked with Piken - same as above Well, it's a mess with the linkings, again and again and again.

Those linkings are a joke.

I find it funny that in 2023 people are still complaining about thief, while other classes are played by putting your brain in cruise mode and just run with it. xD

Dawdler, iam not missing your point (and i don't think you are missing mine either), we are just not on point with our standings. 😄
