Strategy: Don't use the last charge. - The last charge is not strong enough in any of the mantras to justify the CD plus the precast. - Or either if the last charge were strong enough just spam the charges and wait the CD. - Precast is boring because you cast something that do nothing, just put more CD. - You spam the button before, you here spam it slower. I agree that spamming buttons was boring and needed a change, but this is not just useless and conditioning (you need the avoid the CD+Precast), is also annoying. There is no a "situational skill" in the last charge to "save it and use when needed". Maybe Aegis (but you have plenty other skills to use for Aegis), and you need to keep the mantra in 1 charge for that. Keep tracking a lot of tiny icons and numbers in a class that has a lot to track already. This is like the Tomes changes, it was awful to play in the first patch, now is great. This is a low effort change without too much sense. They need to tune it.
  2. I really like the changes of F1 page cost reduction, It feels more like before to do the rotation at least for me. With the HB I have almost no problem because I don't do a rotation, so, the trade of page cost and increased CD for a removal of CD between tomes was fair and I got used to it. But with the condi FB was a pain to do the rotation because the pages cost. This is definitely in the right track at least for me, I don't know in damage, probably is better, but I am talking about fun, it feels fun again for me. But the BEST change is that now I can see the active effects of virtues VERY clear, that is great, best change. Can't see the CD yet but is a BIG improvement. Thanks!
  3. I really like the page cost reduction for F1, all back to 1 page by skill. I get used to be more picky playing HB, not burning everything and changing between F2 and F3 when needed, you use what you need at the moment you need it. But for damage you need to do a rotation and the page cost were awful to keep track of it, right now is like before plus "swift scholar". This is definitely in the right track. Something to improve for me is a better visual cue to see virtues active effects CD, maybe something above the virtues or a CD over them. Forget about it, FANTASTIC.

My main problem is I can't see clearly when a tome active effect is on CD, also, the new longer tome skills CD and page cost, is so annoying to keep track of that, you need to keep in mind that 3 skills of the same tome gives you a extra page, is a lot to pay attention, is super annoying, you do something different and you ended wasting all pages sooner than you thought. I still, somehow, enjoy my HB, I don't care about numbers, but they kill the fun of the condi FB, and I didn't even use the rest of the tomes when I played it. Right now I am not having fun and I am not in the mood to play another class. Changes like this should be done by people who actually mains guardians with tons of hours put on it, if not, you need to talk to people who actually mains guardians with tons of experience on it like the OP.
  5. After the tome rework, please, no more reworks. I prefer a mediocre thing than a bad and awful to play thing.

Awful job reworking something in the worst way, is annoying to play, to keep an eye on the CDs that you can't see, Passives of virtues is totally ridiculous now to cast, keep waiting for pages to reload VERY SLOWLY one by one instead a unique CD, is an HUGE nerf to HB. The different cost of pages plus the increase in the CDs... is so clunky.... Is not fun to play with this anymore. I don't want to deal with Anet balanced team's work anymore tbh, I know it well as a veteran WvW player since the release.
  7. Please, fix (or make it work) freesync. Is very hard to keep a fluid experience even in a strong hardware. Freesync would be a life saver there.
  8. GW2 Is visually stunning for a 2012 game, but suffer, even with DX11, from serious drops. You can either chose between tearing or stuttering... Freesync/Gsync would be awesome addition, you can mitigate the drops with it. It would be perfect due the fluctuation of FPS that this game has. There is a chance that devs, with the new DX11 implementation, that adds support to this?
