  1. Quick feedback on the following: Skill 1: Ambush range like what my peers are saying. Skill 2: I feel like this skill should be a blast finisher that you can combo with skill #3. Skill 4: pretty slow and the tell is so obvious.
  2. what's everyone's thought on Rank 55 Dragon's team comp featuring Untamed and a weird pick Willbender? with no Spectre mind you.
  3. GS hands down. There's just no point in using Hammer unless you just want to disrupt the enemy team's DPS or support.
  4. I think the problem with the game right now is that professions has easy access to boons. The mind set of everyone right now is "if this spec CANT bring XYZ boons, kick."or "this spec is better because boon spam" every expansion ANet has to add flavour to each spec to sell the game. What i think ANet should do is to limit easy access to boons or give us more access to removals, if you can easily apply these boons every 10s then a player should be able to remove them within that same amount of time as well. Same goes for PVE bosses, boon strip removal mechanic should be a thing. Untamed has good counter to every thing that is in game right now, pvp and pve. Hard CC rotation, boon strip, and projectile bubble. It's just that most players want big numbers popping everywhere since its a new Spec πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Most Unleash pet skill in PVE are useless to enemies with defiance bars, you want skill #2 and #3 (slow and chill) to trigger BEFORE not AFTER you break defiance bar because these two condi help break defiance bar. IMO the whole Untamed trait is pretty balance already, if i were to change something it would be Restorative Strikes - heal for 5% of strike damage. This is a placebo trait, a whole number e.g. 1000 shield is better because you can plan and mitigate a damage in all game modes. if this is a Minor trait combined with Vow of the Untamed it would work and tweak Vow's numbers to compensate.
  6. I wouldnt expect a "rework" for Spirits, just because of ANet's history. They will probably just include this boon buff on the GM trait for Spirits πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  7. Visually they could follow Virtuoso’s flying dagger mechanic floating on top of the player, slightly behind. Different colour per spirits. I read a few suggestions here, I’m pretty sure there’s enough ideas given already.
  8. This is a GREAT idea, i don't get why we can not have this while Devs release content maybe update a pet family or two? Specially core pets or better yet maybe give us a new Pet once every year or quarterly if not too much to ask. EVEN a reskin of a pet will do, seriously πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  10. Let me start off with Pet Untamed revisions. Skills 2 and 3 secondary effect doesn't trigger until defiance bar is broken. In PVE you want these effect to activate to break the enemies defiance bar, not AFTER you break the bar. Currently: Rending Vines -your pet strikes nearby enemies with vines, removing boons. Enemies that are disabled are also slowed if they already have conditions on them. Enveloping Haze- Summon a swirling spore cloud around your pet, destroying projectiles and chilling enemies who are disabled if they already have conditions on them. Ambush skills: Deft Strike - compare to GS (boon removal w/faster animation) this is underwhelming. Either make it a utility focus or condition since core Ranger doesnt have a melee condi weapon focus by default. -a.)Leap forward and Spin forward (dodge frame) , creating a spore under each enemy struck. -b)Leap forward and Slash foes repeatedly bleeding and weakening enemies, creating a spore under each enemy struck. Toxic Shot - why can't we have this as instant cast instead of a weird aim and shoot or swap skill with Jagged Fan (Jagged Fan - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W)) Traits Ferocious Symbiosis - currently all bottom trait enhances ambush, sticking with the theme. +3% +2 % damage and +5% movement speed. Ranger unleashed ambush skills gain: a.)inflict daze (1/2 s). b.)gain an additional +120/240 Ferocity . Restorative Strike - mid line trait are the defensive section of Untamed but passive design like this need to go specially for a GM trait A percentage of the strike damage you deal heals you. a.)heal when you or your pet unleashed. b.)gain protection or barrier when you or your pet unleashed.

  12. im referring to this quest in Living World Season 2. Where you need to break the Boss fire shield by using sun crystal twice and its bugged, looked into google and youtube already. did the quest 5 times couldnt finish it and i did the following: maybe i was doing too much damage so i only attacked once or twice until the boss move to its phases. literally stand there and let NPC attack the boss so it move to its phases in the fight. None work still bug couldnt break boss shield with fire crystal. this has been going on since 2014 apparently. only doing this for legendary amulet. Cornered - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W)

  15. I would give Ranger pets some tweaking if ever so that they are on par with new pets. Im sure ANET has data on which pets are being used the most and which ones are not COUGH Devourers! . Revisit some old traits and clean up the trash, then move on to skills that are not being use at all COUGH SPIRITS.
