I hadn't played GW2 for more than 2 years before rejoining just this past week. This summer I ventured into Black Desert Online. Oi yoi yoi, whereas BDO has some really great features (and some real bad ones, talk about a grind!), the community there is so bad it's one of the reasons why I stopped playing. GW2 chat is a relief compared to BDO. -
This is really great Aliam. After getting kind of burnt out on fractals, doing PvE open world like this looks like a nice change. Unfortunately all my ascended armor and weapons are Berserker, my Vipers stuff is exotic.

I would also vote ranger. Why? It's so easy to level. With a tank pet you are unkillable to anything but champions. And then when you reach 80 you can get Druid, which is a superb healer, giving you another aspect to use, and then Soulbeast, which is a great elite spec. Ranger, Druid and Soulbeast -- it's about the best group in the game. Each one is viable and allows you to do different things.
