Nothing bothers me more than seeing open world events (especially map wide ones with that huge screen message about the event starting) that are related to a specific living world or expac in a map that's not technically related to that timeline/story. I feel that can be very confusing as to what a Scarlett invasion or rift opening or joke invasion is if you have not gotten that far into the story. What about adding a brief few words along with each event or map message explaining the events story location? Such as 'this is a living world season 2 event' or 'this is a SoTO expac event'. That would be an amazing QoL IMO!
  2. I'm trying to complete the SAB Super Adventurer's Quest where you "find secret items in the Adventure Box to trade your way to a new upgrade." Wiki page: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Super_Adventurer's_Quest . At some point in time I have already completed the first item, the Extra Tiara, since it shows already collected in the achievement tab. I don't remember doing this, but I'm sure I did at some point in previous years. The next item, Auspicious Hat, is collected by speaking to the Fancy Proprietor in Furniture Shop #1, which is the hidden Furniture Shop under the maze with all the spikes and bombs, or at least according to the wiki. I have tried speaking to this Fancy Proprietor within this shop and nothing is happening. I have even went back to the top of the tree and used 'dig' to see if I could recollect the Auspicious Hat in case the achievement requires it for some reason, but no hat when I dig. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!
  3. I honestly did not think we would have everything lumped into episode 5. I seriously thought there would be so much glazed over. But it wasn't. It's all there. A storyline marionette instance, Scarlet's secret lair, Mia Trin break out in LA, going to the edge of the Mits for all the Braham and Taimi story, dead end bar investigation, escape and retake of LA... and a way to visit an open world old LA!... SO impressed. Thanks Anet! (Too bad we didn't have a southsun cove episode, but maybe one day they'll throw it in.)

  5. Can anyone confirm if it is a solo instance or an entire open world map with a population like normal maps? I pray it isn't a solo instance. It'd be so much more magical to always pop into old LA and see it populated with real players. I also wonder if all features are available, like the bank, TP, crafting, fractals, working potals, etc. Anyone who gets more answers, please update with details! :)

Plot twist, episode 5 is the original origins of madness and twisted marionette and triple trouble with a cliff hanger ending of the attack on Lion's Arch cinematic, leading into a whole new "Attack of Lions Arch season 1.5" nestled before season 2 where Lions arch's appearance is in the difference phases (pre-attack, battle, post victory, and then rebuilt at season 2) depending on your character's progress through the story. 😲 Fan boy dreams ending... Reality: It will be a rushed attack and escape at Lions Arch and final Scarlet instance with nothing mentioned above.

Why couldn't they move the chopper currently located at Eye of the North to Marionette's Landing in Lornar's Pass, still keep the same timer with private instance option, and even add a flavor text warning message to the instance acceptance menu just like they added for the Tower of Nightmare chopper instance acceptance menu. I feel like this would get some much more traffic than at EotN. It's so bizarre to me to miss out on such an easy implication for a moment of season one that is so major that it has a POI in a Core map named after it. Fine, don't add it to the story journal (even though it would not have been that big of a deal to bundle it with Tower of Nightmare, or even episode 3), but at least have it more comprehensively implemented into the world. And speaking of story spoiler warning message, why not quickly go into the side story events that pop up in Core maps like the portal invasions for Scarlet from season 1, or Joko from season 4, or the Mordemoth events from season 2 and the others and type of a little warning within the event's description to help resolve some continuity confusion such as 'this event is part of living world season 1 episode 3 and may contain spoilers.' This is an idea they clearly had with the Tower of Nightmare's chopper instance acceptance menu, so why not add the idea in other places where it matters.
  8. Can anyone confirm if the finish Scarlet's Playhouse without dying achievement is working correctly yet or not as of 7/22? I'd hate to replay the entire episode again and not get the achievement again.
  9. Is this achievement bugged? The requirements say: "Finish Scarlet's Playhouse without dying." I completed the entire instance without being downed or defeated. Is anyone else having this issue?
  10. What!? How is this possible. Not because of the bug fix, I get that, but because Lady Shamshir never shows up! I've been in multiple bounty trains on this map for three days now since the bug fix and if Lady Shamshir actually populates on the bounty board, her event is ALWAYS, every time an ambush event. I've seen countless people having the same problem. It's driving me nuts! It's literally the only thing I have left to do on the map. So frustrating. I just created a separate post about it because surely something must be wrong.
  11. Seriously. I have been trying for three days to get this bounty. She very rarely ever populates on the bounty board. Then, when she finally does populate on the board, it turns out to be an ambush event... EVER SINGLE TIME.... EVERY TIME! I've been in multiple bounty trains on this map for three days now and I've seen a large amount of people that need it but can never get it. I have completed literally every achievement on this map (yes, all 54 of them), including the return to Istan achievements, except for the ONE bounty. It's killing me. PLEASE look into this and fix it. Please, please, PLEASE.
  12. I wasn't aware this was the case. I was curious what was going on. I've been so frustrated with it. I've probably done Dragonstorm about 5-6 times, but yet only have 2/10 on the achievement. I'll have to camp out right next to the crystal at the end right before it pings the special action skill so I can finally get credit until A-Net does something about it.
  13. There is an interesting line from the PCgames article released today that says: "There’ll be a public offering of this encounter that becomes available on rotation every two hours. Or, you can tackle this with up to 50 pals and guildmates via a private squad version instead if you prefer." That's crazy cool.   14. I finally got it to drop. The event must have reset on some timer and now that it is working correctly it finally dropped. But unnecessary for it to take five attempts for the drop, but oh well. I have it now.
  15. Yes I killed numerous fire elementals during the fight all four times, however the wiki specifically states that the Everburning Coal is inside the chest after killing the shaman. I'm not quiet for sure which is right I suppose.
