Unfortunately it seems to be benching at around 30k. I say unfortunately but if they are serious about Power Mirage that means it should get some more buffs in the next patch which is great because as you said it is already a very fun build.

I don't think you have seen what the other weapons can do.

Better improvement, Remove the skill. It is terrible and has no use. Give the Rifle an actual mechanic.

The fact that Heal Chronos are still camping Scepter/Shield and some are even still bringing a Staff tells you how "good" Rifle is.

Burning doesn't need a trait to be good, no amount of traits in the world will make confusion good.

And on the topic of staff, remove confusion and re add burning. Out of all the bad decisions you make 99% of them include removing a condition on a Mesmer skill to replace it with confusion.

Add power/crit chance to Nomad's Endurance, up the power damage of Mirages utilities and give that new Grandmaster you are adding some extra oomph. Make Rifle ambush give might and fury and traited alacrity, up the damage of various skills and ambushes and fix the Phantasm so it isn't terrible. Then you will have a fairly solid base for an Alacrity DPS mirage there.

It is when they made a healing weapon and decided to ignore what our healing trait line does when designing it.

You have that backwards.

We always knew Rifle was meant to be a support weapon and that was never going to change. The problem is that this support weapon doesn't synergise with our support traits at all and it was obvious no effort was put into it so it isn't surprising they didn't fix any of the problems with it. I also want a melee hammer next but I wouldn't hold your breath on whatever we get next being any good.

Nobody uses Chaos Virtuoso, you are obsessed.

Personally I'd prefer a Scepter and Focus because Ranger really needs ranged non projectile AoE and Staff has already been wasted, though Rifle could fill that role and would look better. But getting a Rifle would be pretty funny just to kitten off the "ACKSHULLY ARAGON HAD A SWORD" crowd.

It's funny how more people are upset that Mesmer still has one elite spec that Anet refuse to ruin then they are that Anet is ruining Mirage.

Virtuoso isn't even the highest DPs build, calm down.

Your argument that they should nerf CVirt because they nerfed Mirage is completely flawed. Maybe if you could articulate why the Mirage nerfs are bad instead of just going "spec I don't play is good and I don't like that" then they would be more likely to listen or even take ideas of what to do with Mirage since they obviously don't know.

The cherry on top is the Chaos nerfs nerfing weaker Mirage and Chrono builds.

I really kittening hate Mantras and how they are forcing them down our throat. The current Heal mantra was just about bearable for Heal Chrono because of its interactions with traits but now they are obviously gearing up to balance Heal Chorno around Mantra of Pain spam. It is going to be horrendous.
