We went back to Domain of Vabbi later and tried again but it still did not work. Others in map chat say the instance is bugged and might work in another instance. Someone said it might be because the map instance was open before the weekly reset. Fully exited the game and rejoined but it still did not work in Domain of Vabbi Went back to Lake Doric and it still does not work there either.

Weird... does not work for me and others.

As the title says: you cannot track any of the weekly rifts in Domain of Vabbi or Lake Doric. Weekly rifts work as normal in Bloodtide Coast. Other people in map chat complained of the same issue. To be clear: when you try to track using your mastery the bar fills but nothing shows the location and there is no particle effect moving towards the rift location.

Problem still ongoing. Since last night it is almost impossible to log in again. The only way to get the game to work correctly with a stable ping is to use a VPN and pretend I am in the USA. Then everything works normally with 0 issues. This proves it is not a problem locally and is indeed some issue with routing.

The lag at big events is still unbearable. It only started happening in the last week or so. Is this how it is going to be from now on for the Asia Pacific region? (I am from Australia) After 10 years of Guild Wars 2 I can no longer play anymore as it is too annoying sadly. I can use vendors and basic inventory stuff or zone to maps etc but any of the big events (eg Tequatl) are terrible with the lag getting worse as the event goes on. I have done Tequatl every day for many years on an organized map. Before anyone blames my internet connection please keep in mind: * I have a 100 Megabit connection. * I also tried it on my 5G modem with a different provider. * I work in IT and have a high end Cisco based network setup at home and there is no packet loss on my side. * Many other people in the region have this issue. Some don't even notice it happening until they go to an event. * Everything else I use the internet for works perfectly. * Other people mention the PING trace shows high packet loss at AWS which I can confirm. Please Anet fix it. It is some routing or AWS hosting problem that only happens with GW2 lately. PS This is a copy of a post I made in the other thread (edited a bit to add more info). I gave up playing GW2 for now. All I do is the daily logon then leave.

I have the same problem. It has been bad for several days now but got even worse today... now it is almost impossible to log in. When I do manage to log in the game takes forever to load into a map and most times displays an error then exits. I have a 100 Megabit connection and live in Australia. Everything else works fine. It's only Guild Wars 2 that has massive problems.

Same problem here with the new Crescent Canoe gem shop skin! It's very disappointing to spend real money on gems then buy this bugged skiff. I know you can move to the middle when you stop but it would be nice if it just worked without issues that I need to workaround every time I stop. The smallest amount of testing would of revealed this issue. Hopefully it can be fixed ASAP or I will request a refund on this item.

Gating the turtle behind this annoying kitten festival was a disgusting thing to do.

Please fix this bug ASAP... it is very annoying.

Same issue here for Australia and Canada. If you are ingame and do not zone all is ok. As soon as you zone the game crashes and you cannot login again. Another thread about this issue here: Also in Bjora Marches earlier an Elite Svarnir was chasing us up in the sky as we flew past. He followed a long way across the map then sat on top of a mountain. We both saw this happen on two different clients at the same time.
