I am not a new player, I just havn't played in about 5 years.

I am not sure how to word this to a lot of strangers, but, I am looking for help. I just had a woman I thought loved me for six years cheat on me then leave, slander me, and pretend I don't exist. I am lost, broken, confused, and I can't find anywhere that feels like home anymore. I feel ...pathetic writing this out, but I honestly don't know what to do, so I am reaching out to places I used to love, I used to feel comfortable. I met her in FFXIV and now I cannot look at that game without feeling sick. I don't want to go into too much detail to drive everyone off, so some info about me. I'm 38, and I really don't do much but play games. I have been medically retired for a while now from my service in the Navy, and I have forgotten what I even like in life. I'm not big into memes, but I do love to joke and have fun and chat. I really love to be with people, I am not the kind of person made to be by themselves. I believe I am on tarnished coast, I love all sorts of content, pvp, pve, RP. I am not a negative person, and love to help people out. Love to share knowledge. Love to do whatever people would like, just to hang out. I just feel like I'm old, being phased out, and there's no one else out there like me anymore. I'm just trying to connect =( I know it's not very manly, and sort of sad, and again, I feel like a baby for posting this, but I am at the end of my rope =(

Was just wondering why Anet didnt do something like this when the big ones like WoW and even the small ones like Neverwinter did!

Great idea. It does stink to have to keep paying to use what we already spend gems on. If people could transmute without individual charges, don't you think they might buy more armor pieces/sets and outfits?? Exactly. I look at some of the stuff in the store, weapon skins, armor skins, the funny hats and glasses, and then I think "Eh, I dont have enough transmute stones to mess with those."

Oh, and i don't know if this was mentioned as I didn't read all 22 page, but..... PERMANENT TRANSMOG STONE. Like I am sorry, but to have transmute stones cost so much on the gem store....charging us to show what we've already earned? O_O I like to change my outfit daily in most games, but this one I literally cant afford my real life money to do it. I'd gladly pay for a permenant transmute stone. I bought the permenant pickaxe, logger, and harvester, as well as the silver fed salvage-o-matic, now just gimmie a perma transmute stone. Please.

I really want some more form fitting plate/cloth combos. I REALLY REALLY like the dwayna outfit....except for the chest wings. I wear it from time to time because it's damn near perfect without those wings >_< I'd like to see more like that for my reaper!

From a purely marketing perspective? Looks good, will attract players initially. From a player retention perspective? The end game activities in GW2 completely negate what a player may have come to learn or enjoy over their time playing. For instance I've never, ever, EVER liked glass cannon builds. Ever. Yet if you want to participate in end game content, this will be required of you. So definitely don't mention that 75% or more of your stat sets like soldiers, knights, etc is absolutely useless. Also don't mention that despite being guild wars in name, pvp is not only a side note, the balance is terrible. Not in that class X is better than Y, that will always happen, but in that TTK is ridiculously low for a pvp game, and fights typically last under 10 seconds. Attributed mostly to the above glass cannon is the norm meta that's dominated the game since release. I would worry less about attracting new players, and more about keeping the ones you have, THEN attracting new players and keeping THEM. Instead of getting an influx of new players who will quit. Agian, unless your goal is simply to sell more copies of the game/expansion, then this video is perfect, it will get some people.
