  1. I have an idea that I have been thinking about for some time now. It involves a few changes to the Black Lion Trading Post; specifically the selling of items. Currently, all items that can be sold are shown as a list, with the current selling price to the right of it (usually). My suggestion involves adding three new lines. The first line is a checkbox, which, when checked, would mean that the seller (me) is wanting to sell the product at the given price. This way, a person could quickly go down the list of what they want to sell, then click on the sell button. This way, instead of selling one set of the same item at a time (and having a sell screen pop up and then clicking on the sell button), a single button would sell all of the items selected at once. The two other columns to be added would show the sell price for the item and another column beside it that would allow the seller to set the price for their item (currently, a person has to click on the item to have this information appear). While this may seem a small time saver, for someone like me who buys and sells a lot of stuff when I play, this would make my life easier.

  3. I bought GW2 on December 28, 2012, and have been playing ever since. I have never had more than 1,000 gold at any given instance. The reason is that I never really felt like I needed that much coin. I may not have the amount I want, but I do have the amount that I need. Granted, I have never created or own a legendary weapon- but that is fine with me. Hint: If you are like me, and do not do PvP or WvW, exotic stuff will do you just fine. What I would recommend, though, is doing dailies. I can get them completed in about 15 minutes, no problem. I spend most of my time nowadays helping out newbies in the beginner and 15-25 zones. While not getting a lot of coin, I still manage to make about 2-3 gold per hour/hour and a half, just breaking down stuff and selling it (I have been amazed at how much money I can make just selling butter!). My recommendation: do not focus on coin so much. Doing so can really lessen the enjoyment of playing the game. I used to worry about coin when I first started out, but since then, have found that the greatest enjoyment is being social and friendly. I currently belong to a guild that has people from around the world, and we have gotten to know each other). One last thing: Know your zones. Every zone in the game has a few chests lying about (regular, splendid, grand). Get to know where they are. Heck, if you're in the zone anyways, it only takes a few minutes to get them. I have gotten some nice loot from them. Also, since you are in the zone, do the mini-dungeon. A lot of people miss these two things, and are easy for beginners to do, as well.
