I think it's mostly about actually having to deal with terrain that was hard to navigate, with mounts there's no chance of running into a dead end 🙂 HoT made the players feel like explorers, not tourists.

Pure support? Med kit doesn't disable all the toolbelt skills/utilities, so we are still able to use CCs and damage abilities while med blasting, so how is it pure support. Also afaik, there's one(obsolete?) wvw scrapper build that sits on the medkit almost 247, the rest of the builds swap out of it asap when you've cast what you need from it, or swap to it for a few seconds to get extra healing from the trait when dropping healing mortars or super elixirs... 😄

I gotta say that this game is not very enjoyable to play if you don't have enough inventory space, either you have to run to a vendor constantly or stop picking stuff up, both are very annoying for most mmo players afaik. I've quit a few MMOS for that very reason, I'd have to spend irl money to unlock more slots. The only difference is that in those other games I can't use ingame currency to purchase them.

Put everything on the gemstore and let us pay people to join our guilds and let us buy guild levels too, perhaps we could also buy / trade friends? Could also make PVP rank work with a subscription so it starts at a low rank and raises as you pay a weekly fee, would bring some balance back to the world as actual skill would mean less than money so it would be more realistic. We can already buy a lvl 80 character and tier 1 legendaries so I don't see any problems with it.

I think they should make obtaining it harder just for lolz.

It's easier to pretend that things that only come from lotteries do not exist. just don't buy them, if nobody does they will go away eventually.

I play instruments and give bags and dyes to newbies.

But it's only 300g, if people have a hard time coming up with this amount or don't have it in their pocket already, I personally would rather have someone else lead who doesn't see such trivial matters as a problem. Seriously, you can get this amount of gold and a bit more in about 3 hours if you know what to do, just go farming with the pug and buy 10.

Tbh, anyone leading metas shouldn't be too bothered about the cost. It's basically nothing to unlock for people who use it to lead metas, just a little bit of pocket change.

Give everyone an endless miniature tonic for free and charr/norn won't be a problem. I'm also quite sure most people would not enjoy this sort of gameplay, they would just wait for a mesmer like with most old tyria jps.

NKC.. all I can say is that it's a ghost town for giants that also looks like a work in progress instead of anything that should have been released yet. Everything there is at least 2-4 times too big so it looks huge from the sea, but when you're on ground level it just looks silly when there's only a handful of people on the streets in a place that has buildings that look like they could house the whole planets population twice.

Basically it has all the AI pet flaws and seems to be an engineer spec designed for people who don't like playing engineers, on top of that it doesn't work underwater and I have a feeling everyone who is asking for dyes needs to wait for a looooooooong time.

EOD must be some of the most boring gaming I've done in my life and I'm only at the court. Could I get to PLAY the game at some point? I've just spent an hour walking around in empty instances and letting NPCs have conversations with each other, is there even a game hiding somewhere or should they have released a book instead? + amazing, the next part is about clicking on boxes and waiting for them to finish talking to click another one. really? is this what it's gonna be? should I just quit now or does something happen soon?

Just tell em "lol, lmao" and move on. That's how people have been handling this problem since the early 90s, and it's great for gathering salty message screenshots to post for people to see on reddit 🙂
