  1. We are now at around 15 days of Flux Bomb on T4 Shattered Observatory. Not to mention the other bugs going on in Fractals since the Aug 22 patch. Is this going to even be mentioned somewhere by ANet?
  2. Which is fine, I'm just a little burned out of people dropping it in the middle of the hitbox because "muh whirl finisher".
  3. I know that for a while now, the daily instabilities have been picked at random from an available table of options. But 98 has had Flux Bomb for every day for over a week now.. and I'm tried of being blind-spammed because one person isn't paying attention and is tunnel-visioning on the boss. Special FX was added for Vomit, why not for this, considering how easy it is to lose the visual effect of the bomb spawning?
  4. Please, God, this. And with all the issues with people being able to intercept tether from other players, why not make it a marker and harmless debuff, like aggro selection from Mai Trin when she's about to teleport over to you if you get too far?
  5. If you do this, you risk the tether not appearing at all. Best way to avoid that is have everyone move towards one aspect in the arena, then it'll spend less time trying to find someone to tether to, which means more time to do the mechanic.
  6. Shattered Observatory CM is the same way. Pretty sure the only reason Sunqua was changed is because of CM taking you straight to the end.

Utilization went down for me, as well (specs listed in an earlier post), but because I play with vsync on.. all this means to me is that I'm using FAR less GPU power to do the exact same work as before. If you compare the GPU clock between them, you should also notice a difference. You shouldn't even be using that much of your GPU in DX9, unless you're running 4k + supersampling and uncapping your FPS.. which just means unnecessary strain on your system and a higher electric bill. This has actually been an ongoing issue for years. I see it every time I run CM's, early in the fight with Siax and Ensolyss. After 10-15sec it usually normalizes.

Because, as I've told many people that also used the dx9x12 proxy.. actual, in-engine code meant to take advantage of the new features is always going to be a LOT more efficient than a third-party wrapper. A lot of the things done by the engine in DX9 alone were brute-forced (hence 2x-2.5x more GPU usage in DX9) because the engine itself hadn't gotten an update in a long while (compare how the game runs now vs how it was at early release.. like barely able to hit 30fps even on quiet maps (aka less than 50 people on it)). Considering the core of the GW2 engine is an update of an update of an update of code that began it's life in the days of DirectX7 and single-core CPU's and when 512MB of system memory was considered excessive.. this DX11 update is fairly impressive, regardless of the bugs. Edit: Speaking of bugs, I'm getting some black screen flickering when moving between certain points of the map in the cave of Siren's Reef. I suspect it has to do with some kind of loading barrier for when the ship at the end is within rendering range.

On the plus side, I can now roam Mistlock Sanctuary without GW2 pushing my GPU to max clock and failing to hold 60fps. To all the nay-sayers, this is a significant improvement from the client trying to brute-force the rendering thread.

I have yet to see this bug happen, and there's frequent switching between weapon, a kit, and photon forge. I have sword/pistol in primary slot and rifle in secondary slot. Are you spamming the weapon swap button to get out of kit and possibly bypassing the combat lock because of high ping?
