  1. all these terribad thieves should just come clean and say they need a nuke button that'll auto win the game for them when pressed, usable pre-match.
  2. Ranger pet has telegraphed attacks that can easily be kited out of. Also, pets like Smokescale always use Knockdown after Smoke Assault.What does that have to do with it being passive or not? Nothing in the game comes close to Ranger's pets in terms of passive ccs because it doesn't even require a single button press. That's wrong, though. A large portion of the usable pets' CC does require a button press. If by 'passive' you mean menacing presence as the bird swoops over you, fair enough.How is it wrong? You can be running away or literally afk and the pet will cc for you because the pet auto aggros on anyone that attacks you by default unless you specifically set it to avoid combat. I'm not defending Flashbang / EE, I'm merely pointing out the bias.

  5. There's nothing high risk about being able spam stealth and teleport around while attacking / bursting at 1200+ range. Remove the stealth on dodge and rifle 2 immob spam then you can have your unblockable DJ back.
  6. Having cancer Scourge back is already enough to delete the class even without the nerfs.Time for this class to join the trash heap alongside warrior and mesmer as it's always meant to be
  7. I think the teleport change to rev is a buff because it sounds like it means the port skill wont go on cd now if you use it on an enemy on no port spots instead of being unable cast them on a target out of range LOL
  8. buff engi some more so it's on its way to become Anet's next favorite pet class alongside guardian and rev, barely touching condi rev while buffing everything else rev has, and bringing back the cancer known as scourge. It's good to know that COVID-19 is here to kill the game some more lmao
  9. The whole Legendary Dragon stance (Glint) is busted and people are only talking about infused light. It's the only stance that bypasses rev's design of needing to manage energy (immediately consuming the Facet every time instead of being forced to upkeep them) not to mention it also has everything rolled into one - offense, defense, boons, stunbreak/blind/reveal, cc, superspeed. Some nerfs need to be done to glint, possibly costing some energy to activate the facet on top of the upkeep or just shaving some parts of its bloat such as its offense/damage when it's supposed to be a support/defensive stance
  10. From what I see, there's always some sort of Rev on basically every single team in the last tournament too. I can also call you bad too by just saying focusing Guardian is its weakness, and this is the sPvP forum in a game with the ability to split balance numbers between sPvP so not sure why you're bringing in WvW. Mind you, I also think it absurd that Guardians, specifically Firebrands, got away with no nerfs, but in my opinion (just like your opinion that Guards are far wose), Revs in general are just better than Guards right now, and no, I'm not a Guard main.
  11. All forms of revs are busted currently -- both condi & power, even Jalis ones. Condi ones are your typical condi bunkers that are hard to kill while being able to wear you down with non-negligible condi dmg and also capable of bursts with certain combos. It's also equipped with obnoxious AoE cc spam and has high resistance uptime when resistance is supposed to be scarce. Power ones are still capable of teleporting in and bursting people down in an instant while being slippery if they just mind their distance / stunbreaks / glint heal / energy (muh good rev players lol it's really not a difficult concept to grasp to not brainlessly blow all your load at once, but i guess the typical gw2 skill level difference is just between someone that facerolls on keyboard vs someone that doesn't) Jalis ones are insanely tanky with stab spam and dmg reduction vs both power & condi of at least 60% when their dwarf elite is traited, and Renegade versions (inb4 Renegade lol) even higher with prot spam and that Kalla Fervor trait that also reduces condi dmg, not to mention Renegade play style is super braindead because you just spam AoE AIs on nodes when you're offensive while Jalis skills when you're defensive. On top of that, the Retribution traitline allows them to spam AoE weakness vs power builds. It's really mind boggling to me when very few people on the gw2 forums can grasp how broken revs are, or I guess everyone's just good players and I'm bad :) :) :)
  12. I'm all for tempest getting tradeoffs if it means losing access to some skills and in turn get another set that are literally full upgrades such as dragonhunter & firebrand vs core guard. Or it could be like holosmith where you lose one skill but gain 5 new ones in its place, or maybe rev where you lose 1 skill but gain 3 in the case of renegade. I'm also sure that PvE mesmers face a difficult choice choosing between core and mirage when one gives you better dodges at no cost and an extra set of skills in the form of ambushes.:) :) :)

I am going to compare eles to thieves and mesmers in a 1 dimension way too and say that it's very unfair for thieves & mesmers to have access to spammable stealth, which has literally 0 counterplay and makes everything you do from landing your attacks to surviving/escaping 100000x easier, so either stealth needs to be heavily nerfed to become unusable or eles needs a huge buff by giving them access to spammable stealth :) :) :)
  14. 1st they kill staff, 2nd they kill dagger, now they're slowly killing off focus too. Soon it's scepter's turn (and hit those trident eles too because why not). As an ele you can never expect Anet to do something in ele's favor regardless of who's put on balance team =)
  15. Looks like you're too optimistic about expecting Anet to keep bugs that gives eles advantages for long xD. Disadvantages on the other hand, 3 months timeline no problem

The only thing i feel is OP about this is now basically all thief builds have the ability to interrupt channeled blocks without really giving up anything since sb is so good and used by most of the thieves. If i was a warrior main I would be very salty about this, and honestly it's quite a stupid change.
  17. lol i guess now elementalists are not allowed to rez or stomp unless you take a utility skill solely for that purpose, and one of these skills doesnt even let you perform the rez/stomp unless it's done before the skill is used. Meanwhile everyone else gets to either vomit a bunch of high pressure, pulsing aoe fields on a body before attempting a rez/stomp or have their rez/stomp utility skill already included in their normal builds because these skills give way more useful effects such as stealth and teleport instead of a simple stab/invul. What a sad class
  18. chill, immob, cripple, blind, WASD kite works against any kinds of weaver. stab and condi spam counters Lightning Rod weavers against bunkery fire/water ones it's not hard to stalemate them 1v1 if you bring some cleanses and be smart about kiting and when you cleanse. You can also get an upper hand on them if you have any sort of ranged pressure, especially ones that cant be projectile blocked such as symbols. The rest is to just force/bait their 2 stun breaks and after that they're dead if they stick around. They also have to give up the node pretty quickly as soon as it becomes 2v1.
  19. oh god better nerf all conjures asap before ATs are all stacked with quadruple conjure eles doing braindead pve rotations
  20. staff ele nerf calls soon because it has access to TWO (2) unblockable + undodgable, 1200 range,10 target cc and just because it has forever been in a bad spot doesn't mean it's not bloated XD

Any type of bunker and rez strategy is strong in conquest currently with a single thief added for the decap, and the best bunkers are those that can also do damage through condis (fb, rev, necro) because power damage just sucks right now when weakness and protection are still being spammed after the power damage nerfs. On top of this, those 3 classes also have plentiful access to AoE ccs, so no, it's not at all balanced because braindead try hard teams will most likely just stack those 3 classes with a thief.
  22. Conquest now is basically all play bunkers (pref condi ones) that takes forever to kill and as soon as someone goes down on your team, you spam cc on that body, rez, and repeat. Best ones to do this are fb and revs thanks to having bountiful access to AoE CCs, condis, and sustain while having decent amount of stability. Hopefully patch to address this can come fast else everything will be the same as before -- bad & stale balance that takes forever to fix, just in different flavor of tank and rez instead of one shots.
  23. It's similar to Mist Form now where you have to res or stomp before you cast Obsidian Flesh else you can't use either of those actions.Is this intended? If it is, I feel that's a bit unfair compared to other invuls.
