Mouse cursor on salvage bugged after patch?

Whenever you try to use an endless salvage kit, after opening inventory, the recycle symbol on the mouse icon doesn't show. But then if you use the kits again, it does show correctly. This seems to be reset every time you open the inventory and use the kits again. I was able to replicate this 100% percent. It also does it either in the shared slot or in the normal inventory. As per this video. Edit. I went and tried it on normal kits you buy from vendor, and it did it on these as well. -
Kryptis memory for A Record of War: The Natural

UPDATE: Actually got this to trigger. I was randomly doing the Dragon Meta boss, and noticed an interactable item called "Broken Kryptis Horn" up on the cliff to the North, picked it up and it triggered a book / scroll, with some events that happened - the memories I guess. As I have seen and got this item before, you obviously need the step unlocked to trigger it. It disappeared after reading it, so I suspect it's like some of the other items. They can spawn around different places. I have no idea why the cheevo asks to find the "kryptis memory", but the thing explicitly called that doesn't work, but this item does. Very weird or just a bug, I'm not sure. Here is the location I found it, but it could be in other places. -

Same. Unless their are other memories, but it only says one memory. I guess it's bugged. -

Just a final note and feedback. As noted by other poster, people were advertising in LFG, and I managed to finagle the quest step via them. I can see future problems though. 1. The bosses are relatively easy to figure out the mechanics wise, but incredibly annoying in smaller groups. Plus you always have some new people (like me ha!) that dont know about the fight. 2. The green circle is quite punishing. I presume it requires a minimum of people to spread damage? Like the ball drop in Drakkar, etc. Does it scale with people or is it a hard cap? Not sure. 3. Unless the loot is better, NO ONE will craft keys for this. It is trash rewards - like most of the loot in these new maps (that needs juicing or some aspirational drops to go for). Or people will do the bare minimum for story / collections then avoid like the plague. I would suggest what I thought previously - make the item a permanent widget, that you can just have in inventory and toggle as you want. Good for pugging and guilds and stuff. I could understand the crafting angle if the rewards were lucrative, but they aren't. I'm all for challenging content - I enjoy my weekly raids, etc - but this seems super annoying. Also, the buff disappearing sort of screws people.

So, I did the story step, and it gave me a magic box (whatever it is called). I consumed it to continue the story, thinking it was a permanent widget, as it said click it again to turn off T2. Like it was a toggle-able item. Then the map closed. The buff was gone, so I went to click it but the box had vanished. Do I have to repeat the story? Edit. I just realized I can't repeat the story, until I finish the story, which I can't do because of this issue. The quest log just says do a T2 rift. No markers or NPC's mentioned. I think I'm bricked.

Instances clear out too fast [Merged]

I wish we could select instances like in GW1. Their is obviously a list somewhere in the background, with IP numbers. Let us choose. -
So, I've been doing the Aurora and Vision collections on an alt account, and have noticed that some events have become very... awkward to get done. Not that the fights themselves are all that complicated, but that the player population on those maps is so low that completing them before they fail / timeout is not possible, most of the time. I say 'most of the time' because their will always be those golden moments when their just happens to be enough people around at that exact moment. Those golden moments are getting more and more rare in some places. This wasn't an issue at first, and for a while, but as the bulk of the player base has moved on to the new sexy maps, these old maps just sit there, and this issue will only get worse with time. A few notable examples: Justicar Agatha in Lake Doric. The main problem there used to be she died so fast coming out of Fort Evennia that people missed out. Now it's that their are never enough people to kill her in time. Although she does spawn in the town event also, so it's not a complete disaster. The corpse Caravans in Istan. These things are like mobile nuclear bunkers, and spawn elites and champs even with few people. The Jade Constructs in Bloodstone Fen. Same issue as the caravans, surrounded by multitudes of White Mantle. Do you like confusion? /s By and large the collections and events are doable, but their are these really awful pain points, that because of time and player numbers shifting elsewhere have become just un-fun and frustrating. They could do with a passover or re-balance or tweak somehow. They seem to have been designed or balanced around having masses of players swamp them (or some sort of minimum number anyway), but those masses are no longer present. I actually thought something like this would happen in Heart of Thorns maps, but they have held up quite well. These other places, not so much. I'm sure their are other events, but I cannot recall them all. What other ones do people know about? Edit. This is also why whenever new content is released I immediately do the story and rush around madly to do any meta events that require lots of people. Because I know at some point, this problem could catch up with that latest bit of content and people will be much scarcer.

[Mechanist] The Chosen One [Merged]

Mine isn't locked, but the skill is blank: Blank Mech. Changing the utilities DOES alter it, but I can never get the mech to go in it. -
I have it on my other Mechanist character, but when I made this new one and unlocked Mech, it's just not there when I go into underwater area's. Been this way for a week or so now. The F4 is just blank. OK, so I can get skills into the F4 if I change the utilities, but on my other Mechanist I get the Mech F4 depth charge ability. But on the new Mech, no matter what I pick, I can only get F4 abilities based on the other utilities - nets, bombs, etc. How do I get the Mech F4 underwater skill?

Also, if you want to do the Twisted Marrionette, make sure to be there AT DAILY RESET, because outside that public run, it's sorta dead. But it usually pops at least once a day at that time. -
Too much fluff in the roadmap

It's just what's coming up. They aren't ready to talk about LS6 or the xpac, so if you take away all the stuff you mentioned, might as well not put out a roadmap. Then people would complain, as they have been, that anet aren't telling us what's happening. Can't win.
