That last option is what I was thinking as a way to have both, but to be useful it might need to be that you can choose which version is on the main bar and swap back and forth (like how you can swap between whip and boomerang). A cost reduction is not a bad idea, either.

Isn't there a time trial version? I believe it is collecting coins instead of hitting clouds, but I thought the path was the same.

It is tough. Some years I'm able to get it by doing the bee dog transform before the race, then flying the whole thing. Can still be close, but it might shave couple seconds on the path here and there. Thankfully, this year there is another annual in the list so you can skip the race and tribulation mode and still get the reward.

When you buy the Medium Health Bottle, it permanenetly locks you out from buying the smaller health. 5x the cost for one extra heart is not good for me and I wish I could just go back to buying the 1-heart refills for 5 baubles. I know it is unlikely to change, but hey, the mega bombs got an update, so maybe there is a better way to do the health bottles, too? 🙂

W3 giving no credit for Extracurricular Activities, either. Not sure if that is across the board or just sometimes.

I have not had that happen, but I have had the throw not work when I've accidentally targeted something else (either the nexclace or one of the small frogs on the sides).

This has been an ongoing issue from the start. Would be nice if they could squash this bug or give us an update on what is happening.

Last year I was under the impression you could not even enter W3 without talking to Moto first.

I can't swear it happened this way for EoD hearts, but I am certain I have started a heart one day and completed it the next without losing progress in PoF. I'll have to test that again to see if it still happens or if it resets now.

Do you have any filters in use that might be hiding it from the list? Also, from the wiki it looks like Jewelcrafter 400 can *use* steel ingots, but it is not on the list for crafting them.

I just hope when we finally do get back to our team they (justifiably) rip into us for how stupid we've been to freeze them out over the course of this expansion. 😛

Huh. I just did the Fire Elemental and that counted for the Legendary. I think it is ranked "Epic" like the Behemoth.

I just tried this on my EU account. Ley Line in Gendarran did not give me credit for a legendary. I am almost certain this is what gave me credit on NA, though. The other oddity on EU was that, for a Legendary, it melted very fast. Like, under a minute fast.

This is either back or still happening. Normal enemies in a Tier 1 rift event either have incredible defense or more health than veterans and elites inTier 2 or 3. Those spiky little monsters are tough to chip away at. (Related to this, I still do not like scaling mechanics that just add health to enemies. Scale though numbers or by adding veteran/elite/champ status enemies. Making things take longer to kill isn't scaling, it is annoying.)

I am almost certain I got credit for the WV objective last night when I caught the end of this event in Gendarran. If so, it could be one of those weirly intermittent things, or maybe only a problem in some zones. Where were you when you ran it and did not get credit? Also, I see a similar post from @Albadaran.1283, so maybe that person can say where the 2 events were run that did not give credit. See if there is any pattern to it.

I know there was (is?) maintenance going on with the store, but sales usually go until late morning/early afternoon Eastern and it seems like some "weirdness" is happening. The mount skin sale (Week 3) is gone, but chairs (Week 4) are not on sale. Build and Equipment Template Bundle (Week 3) is still available and I don't see Travel with Freinds (Week 4). Did something go a little sideways with what should and should not be on sale right now? It isn't the end of the world if I missed buying the mount skin item I wanted, but if the sale did end hours earlier than it should have, that seems like a bug. At this point, the issue really is less important than the reason an unaddressed ticket can hang out in their system for so long. I was thinking having the ticket # in the post title here would at least prompt someone to take a "that's weird..." glance at what happened. Another month gone, still no change on the ticket. Maybe I thunk wrong. 🤔

I have been running the SotO story on a 2nd character with a group of new players and we have experienced some things that I really hope are bugs that can be fixed. They aren't "gamebreaking issues", but they do make it feel sloppy and that can be worse when making a first impression on new players. Mother of Stars After the Dagda fight, there is some dialogue between Zojja and Dagda after you have been told to do check on Frode and Uenno. This dialogue does not play for anyone who has seen it before, even if you run the instance with a different character. I see no story reason why this would be the case. (At first, I thought it only played for the instance owner, but no...other people could hear it, too, as long as they had never played the instance on any character before.) Voices Beyond the Veil This one is even mentioned on the wiki, but I don't know if it has ever been acknowledged as a bug. When you speak with Rian to help with rifts, you are not only directed to the week's list of rift zones across Tyria, the story step is literally called 'Help the Astral Ward deal with threats across Tyria', but you can only make progress in Skywatch Archipelago It is confusing and frustrating where it had a chance to be informative and helpful about the weekly rift achievements.

I have never heard of this happening with the kind of regularity and severity you experience. You say "please fix this bug", but I'd imagine if it is happening it would be a rough one to track down. I am trying to even come up with a theory on what could be happening, but the only thing I can think of is your connection to the servers is so bad that the game constantly loses track of where you are.

I have asked myself for months now why little things like this bother me in SotO more than they have in the rest of the game. Because it isn't like there were no glitches or weirdness before this expansion. I probably noticed them at the time, but I don't think they caused as much of an impact because I was more invested in the story and other things going on. It is like, if there is a minor annoying sound going on outside my house, my reaction to it will be very different if I'm busy having fun with friends vs if I'm already annoyed because something isn't going right. In the first case, I might hear the noise and be able to ignore it, but in the second case, I might hyper-focus on it as yet another annoyance.

Do you play through Steam, or directly through the ANet account/launcher? If Steam, there had been times in the past when Steam would "forget" a game was installed and require you to point to it manually or do a reinstall.

From the ones I've seen on my accounts (one with all expansions, one with just HoT/PoF), it looks like the events option is 15 with double credit for events in the meta's map, butu also credit for events in a core region. It is possible there are different objectives if you have a different set of expansions, but what I have so far seems reasonable. Do you have more information on the one that requires 50 points? Maybe it is a bug?
