Please don't check out the Cattlepult event in Diessa. Definitely don't bet on how far the cow will go before it is pate.

Just FYI, if you have spare guild slots, you can sometimes do HoT gather dailies in the guild hall, especially if you join one of each type. (So Gilded Hollow and Lost Precipice). It also works to join (for example) two of the same GH that are at different upgrade levels.

You only have to do things like Krytan Explorer once per account too, it's only the gift that's character based.

It was almost certainly intended to lengthen the game for sure. The trouble is it came out of the blue after the core game let you just do whatever, whenever, so a lot of older players who were used to being able to just blast through things just up and quit. It was ok for me, not fun but ok. Most of my guild however, dead inside a week or two of launch.

It pained me but I threw away all my ascended accessories. The tiny value of anything I could get from it made it pointless. A bit rubbish since I had about 140 of them, but I couldn't justify keeping that many in the hopes they might make them slightly more worthwhile.

I don't get why they couldn't just make it a renamed PoI instead of a permanently unusable "waypoint".

I personally mapped a lot of hot to 100% but to get every mastery done took a lot longer. Not because of exp, but because I was struggling to get the mastery points from adventures on gold. It is, however possible to get enough to map it all without total MPs. The only thing I find annoying with mapping HoT and onwards is the PoIs locked behind long event chains or metas.

I have a dim distant recollection of the mini Mr Sparkles being given out only to people who spent like £80 on gems for a limited time too.

Because finding a party to do any of the harder old content is now very challenging, so titles especially can be a pain in the butt. Not checked in on zkeys for the 3 points for pvp title in a while, but last I heard those were way pricier, and tormy weds are super pricey too.

Yea not gonna disagree there lol, you would have thought they would at least let you know you were a tester haha.
