  1. Damn that's some nice god damn contrast. Great work with the colors man. Your lines and shapes, the style you have, maaan it remembers me of high end comic books!Great work lad!
  2. I've spent quite a while working on this, it was finally time to make something good. Something I could call a true thank you to the story. So here it is. When the world met its destroyer, it whispered one last time. And it whispered... Aurene!
  3. Aye, I suppose. Maybe one day they'll add it it... Gonna miss the idea of my fluffy totem Jackal tho :c
  4. First of all, howdy. So I just bought the Jackal chair and found out it always uses the default Jackal skin, no colors, nothing. I'm not that angry since the chair is still cool as hell but why not add in the mount skin/color compatibility, the whole point of buying it for me was the asuran engineer I created to have his favourite mount be his sit buddy, but now the colors don't match up at all (neither does the skin) and I can't use it on any other character that well becouse all of them have their own color shemes. The fact that you can't recolor it isn't even written on the BL store's page so what the hell ANet?
  5. I remember trying to tell people it was broken and was repeatedly told I just needed to practice and get better. Because clearly I was just bad. ಠ_ಠBruh... I feel ya
  6. Yeah a vent was really needed and even though there are a bunch I was trying to do the quickest easiest ones so I could start farming as soon as possible.
  7. Bruh I get it but fuuuu... it's just the extremely punishing design that you need to get to know first and can't use your jump skills to get through first time. Like you need to know that you get across the weird blue spin platforms at the top by walking onto them when they start spinning instead of standing on them already in order to not overshoot. How the hack are you supposed to know that? and how is the skillful? it only eats up time and make me frustrated. Plus the leap of faith is just... Its completely optional, ignore it if it frustrates you that much. Those who really really want to finish it will do it with guides and succeed. As the most challenging JP its fine.Had to get it for a mastery. I need masteries so I don't get xp blocked and can farm spirit shards on SW.
  8. I can do the Halloween jp with my hands tied behind my back, even did it a few times with just my left hand on the keyboard, no mouse (all chests included)And it's not the difficulty of the jumps, the jumps are fine. I'm saying the rotors that send you flying are dumb. Cuz they can overshoot you, and the only reason you get reset is because you didn't know a very specific way to approach them that wasn't hinted at whatsoever. And I did it, after a bloody long time. I ain't a weak quitter. I need that Central Tyria mastery.

  10. I mean, most if it is fine, except the rotating cogs that 90% of the time send you over the platform and you have to do it all again, and then, the diving challenge, like, why is it a kitten leap of faith, that if you fail just slightly, you gotta do the whole thing again? I feel very negative feelings towards it's creator.
  11. Good music (especially love the Viking like one) The story was short but I had no problem with it, it was nice seeing Braham go through the changes he did and the ending felt right. Map looks pretty neat and has some nice Beetle terrain :3 Overall feeling: Gud What I'd like to see more in the future: Rytlock/Ryland daddy issues. Braham becoming the leader we'd like him to be. And of course an epic finale like the one in LWS4 :)
  12. Howdy people! Next post is here with some Div's reach breaks, I don't know when I'll post the next one but if you're interested it's always gonna be named ''[Going Beyond]'' so a search for that should always show all the posts :3Ok onto the breaks.! (oh yea, no hint this time, it's pretty easy, just takes some time)As Div's reach is full of houses, towers and all sorts of detail it makes sense it quickly unloads things when you get a bit further away from them.First some simple nice lookin' places:Bottomless holeThe main garden from below (the first image looks like an angry Deku Scrub)Kinda everything from belowAnd now from below to the top (I would just like to say that all of these locations are accessible through in-game mechanics, no 3rd party software was used)And now, INTO THE PIT!From below we can see the whole structure of the Crown Pavilon at the west side of the city.Coming closer we can actually bug through the wall/ground to get out of the water a bit and onto a solid surface for a better lookAfter a bit of trying I even got inside the main ''tube'' and got some pretty nice picturesThis spot would be a great shooting place for any water/underwater themed charactersAnd trying to go as low as possible you hit an invisible barrier (thankfully) and your Bond of Faith triggers for some reason Alright folks, that's it for Div's reach for now. I heard there are other ways to break the map and explore areas I didn't get to in this post, so go and look fellow breakers and see you in the next post :3
  13. Update: I've gone into the Scarlet Room again and it seems the machine cannot be activated, any angle I tried was too far away from it to be interactable and getting any closer teleports you out.Still a nice place to pose for fashion :3
  14. Been thinking the same thing, I'm already trying to find new ways to break maps like Lonar's Pass and Dredgehaunt Cliffs since there I remember being a lot of Scarlet related stuff :)
  15. Hello once again, I bring some cool finds from map breaking Gendarran Fields! (if you only wanna see the Scarlet part it's at the bottom)Again, I'm not gonna show the way to break the map cuz I don't want it getting patched, but it's a bit more complicated than last time, the clue for this one is: VIP So, let us start with some nice colorful pictures of endless water, hope you ain't scared of the infinite ocean. Now onto some cool rock/structure formations (and a spooky ghost inbetween nothing I suppose, forever lost) Now onto some more detailed places. First, the gate to Lion's Arch from the back-right (couldn't get a better shot) and a tower that has most of it under the ground, never to be seen by players. The underbelly of the Aetherblade Site with cool Kralk-like crystals. The underside of the Vigil Keep. And now the most interesting find yet. This...For those who'll find their way under, it's directly south of the Bad Omen Beach (ironic)It's a bunch of Steamwork machines made by Scarlet, all called Scarlet Briar, none have her look tho.I went in for a closer look, this was an amazing surprise to me. It may have just been a part of the map used in LWS1, but I wasn't around here back then so I can't be sure. Nonetheless it's amazing! What could this place be? What could that ''gong'' like machine be? I actually got in and it was interactable, but I got too close to it and it automatically teleported me out of the area, back to the surface of the map. I don't know if that is the function of the machine but I may go back another day to find out.Anyway this was very exciting, hope to see ya next time when I explore... well, I dunno. I don't think I know of any other map breaks besides a wintersday one. But that's still far ahead, so I'll go lookin' for more. Until then, have a nice life :3
  16. I'm currently busting my a** making all the Boreal Weapons and the meta seems fun too. It's just a thing of opinion.
  17. Hello, so in short, I love finding my way out of the maps in gw2. There's always something cool to look at, and today I bring my first post from the Harathi Hinterlands. There will however not be any tutorials on how to get beyond the map's boundaries, since showing it might make ANet patch it and I don't want that, there's no exploitation coming from it so I see no reason for it being fixed, especially if you have to go who knows where to get out of the map. But, for those who love getting out of the map just like me I'll say that it isn't too hard to find, just follow the dead. Now here's some pictures. Each map has it's soft and hard edge it seems, the soft edge is far away out of reach where the water ends and the hard edge is the outline of the square or cube the map is set in. There is an invisible wall there that, to my knowledge so far, cannot be passed. You remember the centaur camp on the hill near the small town where to finish the heart you need to wait an hour in front of the gate because you can't bothered to feed the chickens?Well you can get there! You can find centaurs there with coded routes and patrols, although they tend to vanish from time to time. You can also spook players from ''beyond reality''.A nice close-up of our 4 hoofed friends.Seems the entire camp is just one centaur over and over, but I think I saw a single different one, was too fast to catch him though. And now the best part of all. Some of you remember this door, near the checkpoint and a jumping puzzle, you can't use mounts there so I'm sure you know it.Normally you can't go past this door no matter what, but now you can just fly to it through some rock. And what hides behind it?An entire small town with animated spinning ''antenna'' a few torches and even a cool purple machine, which I assume is a furnace of some sort. That's all for this part, they may be a lot more to explore, but it's midnight so I might wanna go to sleep now. More posts sure to come :3Cya!
  18. Last I heard, Anet doesn't mind a little exploration as long as it doesn't harm anyone or is used to gain an unfair advantage. @"Amy of Darkness.5248" said:Ooh, I don't like it when they put up a "no fun allowed" invisible wall to keep us out of harmless little secret areas where we're not actually stuck. People love finding those spots, I don't understand the compulsion to patch that stuff up. Seeing how things look in their rough state increases my appreciation for the effort that goes into creating the maps in the first place. It's a game that encourages exploration after all, and I much prefer when I find a hidden wonderland of strange alien landscape and unfinished assets over the many times I've become completely stuck inside invisible walls or pits too high to jump out of & too narrow to mount up or fell inside the assets on the actual main map in the course of trying to explore. Now that they can patch! I had to WP out of a tree I climbed in a cave in Grothmar, if they wanna patch that they are welcome to it! No doubt they will patch these if you reveal how you got in though. Probably a risk if you show where it is, even. I've seen a few threads with screenshots of how people got into really neat areas that weren't even off the map, just at a higher vantage point, and lamented that soon after the devs made a patch with invisible fences to keep people out, so there is indeed precedent for them closing the curtains on cool secrets like that. Sometimes they can be really touchy about "unintended gameplay" that isn't really harming anything. My immersion is really not harmed by seeing the edge of the map when there's been plenty of times the floor is the last thing to load in! It kills me though because I'm intensely curious if you found the same one I found, but I dare not say where! Instead of patching these up, it would be great if they put an NPC in there that harasses you for being in that area. Thanks for the help friends, I guess I'll just post some nice places I found but not how to get to them. Although that may be better, since it can be like a game-break-bounty-hunt, for any other map breakers out there, I give you the place it can happen and you find the place to make it happen :) Also Amy of Darkness, it's ''somewhere'' in the Harathi Hinterlands :3
  19. Hello there. So one of my favourite things to do in gw is to look around for places that allow you to go out of bounds and I love exploring the various cool places that you find this way.I would like to share some places I found and how to get to them, but I don't want them getting patched, so is it ok to post out of bounds tutorials? Will they get fixed if I post them?
  20. Yeah, I've been thinking about that too, it seems impossible, although I know of certain speedhacks that may help you get there, I hope they are keeping it nice and fair though. Also ... [snip]Does class matter for this or is it just a case of beetle+jackal/raptor? I used blink/jaunt to get around the sharp bends near the middle of the second lap, though not sure if that is the most efficient way. There may be some nice trick with the Mesmer teleport but so far I think it's just about getting the beetle riding down. You really wanna keep on rolling no matter what, hit things around you as least as possible (not at all for a perfect run) and cut corners as sharp as possible without hitting pumpkins or missing checkpoints and also keeping in check that you don't loose too much speed from cutting a corner too much, it's just about optimalisation over time, for me at least. You really don't want to dismount and remount in the middle of the race since it looses you a lot of time and if you can get the turns right, there is no point in remounting since you have the most speed with the beetle at all times compared to raptor jumps or jackal warps. And I'm not sure which part you mean but if you need help just add me on gw and whisper me when I'm online, if I have the time (which if I'm playing gw I mostly have) I can go to the raceway with you and help you out personally, since a lot of the stuff is about getting the feel of it and seeing it done helps a lot more than just telling you about it :) Sorry for not responding sooner, I think for me it is more a curiosity to play around with - just knowing it's best not to dismount is helpful as well as knowing this kind of time is possible. :) Thanks for the detailed help though.np me matey!
  21. Nice mate, I've been trying to do the labyrinth on a raptor and griffin, but it seems the beetle is the answer again.I guess the track is... beet-ab-le
