So IDK what the issue is, this seems to have started within the last month or two. Guild Wars 2 keeps losing focus or not communicating with the gfx card or something weird. I have to rt click with my mouse and move the camera from side to side to try to get focus back and sometimes it works sometimes not. When it does fix it lasts about 10 seconds to a minute or hours its kind of random. While it loses focus/communication, my fps drops to about 2 and my computer bogs down. This only happens with Guild Wars 2. I even tried turning down all settings and nothing works. I play GTAV on max settings and just about every game and absolutely no issues. MY monitor is 4k but i play at 1440p. I have an AMD Ryzen 5600x (OC) and a Sapphire Nitro 6600xt (OC) 16g RAM. I've checked for bottlenecks which is how I saw that there is an issue with Guild Wars 2 losing communication or something with the gfx card cuz I was monitoring with gpuz and windows task manager and when focus was lost my gpu load went to 1% while in focus my gpu load would be about 11% or so. my cpu load remains the same during this at 30% or so (This is only the loads for gw2 itself not the entire system load) the system load is around 40%. sometimes I have hulu in the background, sometimes im streaming sometimes i just have music playing, what i have open in the background seems to have no affect. Anyway, so when focus is lost, my gpu load for gw2 drops to 1%. But the losing focus isnt the reason for the drop in load. THe load drops and then the focus is lost. Not the other way around. I am on the default dx. I do not have dx 9 selected and i do not have any add ons associated with gw2. I tried to set the game at 1440p fullscreen and then 1080p fullscreen and then at window borderless and it makes absolutely no difference. I forgot to say that I am using amd adrenaline software but I do not use it to launch gw2 and I have all settings turned off for gw2. I have global settings turned off too, i have separate settings for each game. I've already checked for driver updates and did all the preliminary troubleshooting.

Yeah I can understand if both installs were in the same folder or drive but both were on diff drives which is what amazes me. At least it kept all my settings.

No youre not coming across at toxic. As I am not actually being toxic either. I just make observed true statements which those that don't want to see the truth call it trolling, toxic whatever just because I'm not nice about it. But why do I have to be nice to these types? Idk if you were around in the beginning but wvw wasn't full of these toxic kittenous players. It wasn't until HoT was released and there was a mass amount of players that quit and we were left with these types and as time went on anet kept compounding it with more and more kittenous toxic skills, buffs, etc etc which attracted the toxic kittenous players and now wvw is over ran with them. Most are predominantly on stacked servers like mag and bg and then just keep xfering links after relinks so they can stay with the rest of them. You know birds of a feather flock together kind of thing. And the worst part about it is that anet caters to them, anet wants these types which gives even further proof that the devs are these types. we are in what I call the d bag of gaming time with all the toxic games being released that have become popular like BR games etc. Theyll report me into the ground cuz as i said earlier, they dont' like the truth. And you can tell how much truth it is by how many confused and sad emojis my comment gets. lol. But I guess I should've saw this coming, after all, it is a game based around players holding each others hands. Having to fight in a zerg or with others only shows fear. Humans flock together out of fear. If there was no fear there, we wouldn't have blobs and zergs cuz we wouldn't feel the need to be in a zerg or blob. I think zerging and blobbing should be penalized. the more players they have the less healing, buffs, hp etc.

lol really? omfg whats worse? mag defending mag or nonmag defending mag? Why should other players and servers have to go jump on meta builds just to deal with mag? Mag has numbers thats the only reason why mag is able to do anything. Theres no skill there, just numbers. So we have to cater to mag? Yeah no. If mag were so good then they wouldn't need to stack a server right? Or zerg a spawn right? Or maybe mag is just super toxic player base? Just sounds like youre making excuses which everybody does when defending the .... that is mag. But hey, I don't have a list of literally hundreds of mag players scared of me out of thin air. Hard to believe there are so many but there were so many I felt I had to make a list to keep track. So there's that. Oh and the macro spammers and hackers hiding in the blobs. Thats the most special part of mag.

I think you might have some misinformation as sbi is currently linked to Darkhaven. Mag and Bg I believe are full. Oh i see you got the link thing backwards. I mean idk why that's relevant but whenever anybody is against mag or bg the other servers just don't log in cuz everybody knows they are stacked. So even tho SBI is full and link is very high it might as well be low. You forget about the players that don't log in out of fear. But this isn't about the present anyway. Its about overall since Anet has started the whole linking system. Everybody knows bg was allowed to get stacked and stayed in t1 for years. Now mag has been allowed to stack and both now have links servers that are high. SBI is full but that doesn't mean they are stacked. which is probably why anet put them with a link that is very high. to try to counter that. But as we can all see, that failed. Mag even over blobs over the bg blobs when they matched up. That's how stacked they are. But you know, I guess mag players have inflated egos and don't want to admit that their success is only cuz of numbers and not cuz of actual skill. I mean there's a reason I have a million name list of mag players skerrred of me.
