  1. Crafting interface bug I guess... https://imgur.com/a/NWZcVrg
  2. DBS event chains have been bugged for days... the DERVs are stuck at the Shatterer site. Haven't been able to do the Shatterer event since maybe thursday at the latest. EDIT- This is in NA server btw.
  3. After 4 years of GW2, this is the system I've gravitated to over time... Ranger for open world PvE. Although having to babysit the pet usage eventually just gets old. Warrior for small group stuff like fractals and dungeons (I don't do raids). Also I use my warrior for Triple Trouble for the DPS. Wvw changes for me from time to time, but mostly have used ele, guardian or necro. I think ranger is my favorite class. If there was one class I'd want to play only and become some sort of expert of, that'd be it.
  4. Forget a new race, can we just get a juvenile choya for a ranger pet please?
  5. Fear not! WoW classic has nothing on GW2! I played WoW classic before it was ever even invented and GW2 is 100000x better. Btw, what's WoW classic?
  6. There are very few things that ever disappoint me about GW2, I have considered it to be the best mmorpg overall by far as long as I've been playing it. I think Anet is a brilliant company, and I do not fault them for this in any way... But WTF happened to Rata Sum lately? It's my home in the game (not just because most of my characters are asura), and it used to be the funnest place to just be goofy. We had groups of people playing music regularly and just had a good time for doing absolutely nothing in a game. Also it was MUCH better than going to the politics capital of the game (Lion's Arch), which still always has plenty of people. Just throwing it out there, even though I'm just one person and my opinion doesn't matter... but damn, it would be nice to see Rata Sum be fun again! Come back, my fun peoples! Yours truly, streaking choya.
  7. I mentioned an idea I had while in a teq map a little while ago: Anet should make (like pokemon, magic... etc) a trading card game using GW2 dragons/bosses. A random idea, but would it be too far from a realistic one? (channeling my inner teen) Imagine a holographic Tequatl!
  8. As the title says, I went into a map to do dailies and my raptor was gliding when I'd go to leap forward. It was just like holding forward when sailing in the air with the griffon. Once I switched mounts and then back to the raptor it was back to normal... but damn, it was a fun short time jetting through Straits of Devastation to daily events. Not sure how it happened, I wish I thought quickly enough to take a video of it. Would have been a good thug life moment for my raptor. B)
  9. I usually have my mesmer parked inside the chest room where Rhendak spawns for a daily kill. It seems like every other time I do Rhendak, myself or someone else, or Rhendak himself gets bugged into the walls. When it's a player, it's pretty much impossible to get back into the room without having to use a waypoint and do the dungeon all over again. This is really getting annoying. Just throwing it out there. ;) https://imgur.com/V6HXpAd
  10. The game has been unplayable for most of the past few days since that once patch. I'm tempted to just give up trying to play until the event is over. I get sent to character select screen often, and when I do manage to play for a little bit without getting sent out there is still a ton of lag everywhere in the game and even on the website. I try to do the jumping puzzle and the snowball part is a pain because the timing with the rolling snowballs is really off.
  11. I've felt like this at times while playing GW2, and eventually I finally realized that the reason we don't know what to do in the game is because there is so many different things to do, that it makes choosing one activity or map over the others hard. Especially because like the OP said, crap loot no matter where you go. But it's like that for a reason obviously, so you're not stuck with one activity that's superior to all the rest... otherwise that's the only place most people would be playing and everything else in the game would be useless. And if the loot was a lot better, you'd reach your goals faster, and then really open the void quicker. I do think some things take TOO long to achieve with grinding the same stuff (Eureka was mind numbing with elder wood and mithril farming. 1st generation legs were a much better experience). Sometimes that void comes from losing interest in gaming, not the game you're playing. That means it's time to think about things in real life you've been putting off or maybe haven't had the chance to do, and set goals to make them happen. We often look to games to fill the voids we have in our lives, but sometimes extensive gaming is what creates them.
