  1. Another visitation: Lunar New Year in the Royal Terrace, Divinity's Reach. I'm actually having fun finding these.
  2. Don't be in too much of a rush to fix it, it's fun 😄
  3. It's not just there: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/p70gm4/something_does_not_look_quite_right/ Divinity's Reach has Wintersday decorations too. Edit to add: I was able to trigger the Crown Pavilion display by going to my home instance and coming out via the gate, then running round to Crown Pavilion.
  4. I got the decorations to come back by running out to Titanpaw camp and coming back in - and when my husband did the same thing, he saw them too. It looks like going through the gate from Titanpaw into the Citadel is the key.
  5. I'm in WvW, at Sanctum of Rall Citadel in our borderlands...and I see Wintersday decorations up. [screenshot] I'm the toon on the left; the toon on the right with the bunny ears is my husband who's playing as well - he's sitting about six feet away from me, same internet connection etc, but he's not seeing anything out of the ordinary. I feel like I saw Tixx sneaking down the chimney or something... Edit: I went to desert BL for a minute and came back, and the decorations were all gone.
  6. BRB, gotta go see if I can be a snow leopard everywhere now.
  7. There's the one nearby that turns you into a snow leopard.
  8. That's great news that the public instance will come back! I really got a kick out of the event.
  9. There's also the fact that it being a one-off meant that, depending on where you were in the world, it could be at a great time of day for you, or halfway through your workday, or in the middle of the night. I got up early, got into one map, got dc'd and couldn't get back in, so never got to do the event at all. I'd like to see another swing at it.
  10. You're welcome. It's a lot of fun to play around with.
  11. There's a neat colour picker tool: https://guildwarshub.com/dye-color-picker/ So you get a screenshot, e.g. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Chak_Egg_Sac_trail.jpg from the wiki, and find the colours in that. You can use another online tool like https://imagecolorpicker.com/en for example, and use the image link on that to get a hex colour code. Paste that hex code into the guildwarshub.com tool and you'll get suggestions like pastel purple [&AgHhUAAA] to turquoise [&AgF6UAAA], depending on exactly where in the image you take the colour from.
  12. There are a bunch of regular locations around the map, but which locations get the chests changes every sandstorm. People have already given you good advice about game settings and the "show all usable object names" thing. If you use TacO, there are paths that will guide you directly to all the possible sites for the chests. Like I say, not all of the possible locations will actually have a chest - but it's faster than running around randomly. (Insert standard disclaimer here: TacO is a third-party program, not endorsed by GW2/Anet, use at your own risk, guarantee void in Tennessee e
  13. This is the correct answer. Although the Eagle Spirit thing above is pretty good :)
  14. Looks like it's enabled again - at least, I was just able to dive down into that spot and interact with a pile of rocks and that gave me the Treasure Key and a Gilded Cipher Blade.
