  1. I appreciate a well decorated tomb as much as anyone, but the good King Wasi continues to get stuck on all that decoration in the tomb. I've put a couple of characters through here, and every time the King pushes forward into a mess of chests, candelabra, etc, and gets stuck. Sometimes it takes a very long while for him to get unstuck. In fact, it takes more time to get him out of that problem than to kill him with mines. Because, as the devs know, mines are what are needed in that instance to void his impenetrable shield . . ..
  2. I find bounty trains all the time. Sadly, I don't find good bounty commanders all the time. They start up a bounty train, and then rush madcap to the bounty while everyone else tries to keep up, usually taking some super cool. highly improbable path to get there, resulting in further delays for some participants. Some commanders will also link the WP they intend to go to even when that's not the WP they'll go to next. For the love of god, stop linking WPs until you're sure which WP is the one. Also, the game really needs to be more vigorous about placing people in squads into the same map 100% of the time. I can see if a map if simply full, but every time I or some other players load into a map as we waypoint ourselves to death (see above) where we're not in the same map, the map I then have to manually "join" isn't full. Ever. Why would the game not have this simple wicket? In squad? Load into same map. Every. Single. Time. Please.
  3. You may be confusing the word god with the word God. One is someone with a lot of power, and the other indicates omnipotence. We can see that the gods of Tyria are really just people with a lot power with the same foibles as any mortal. They do not embody what you might think of when you use the word God. We can see from prior history that a "mortal" can become a god that they themselves took down, and so there's nothing odd about a "mortal" taking down your run of the mill, regular old (and tantrum-laden) god. Balthazar wasn't even gaining in godly stature despite absorbing power, and despite his claim that he'd then be the only god; he knew full well the other gods were leaving. He sounded grandiose by claiming he would be the only god, but not because of what he was doing. He seems to be the god of trickery to boot.
  4. I'm going to post once again. I've tried this MP every day for a dozen or so times each, and haven't completed it. Something is damn wrong with this design. I know what it is --it's to be a hero point, not a MP. Make it happen anet. Some people have a lot of fun with it, and it works for them. They can't redo it if it's a MP, and I can't get the MP if you don't fix its problems. A lot of people have a problem with this and some don't. The whole Tarir HoT arc doesn't take this long. Bad design. Bad implementation. Something's broken, likely relating to something the game needs from my rig or whatever it the hell it is, the solution is hero point transmutation. Turn something else into a MP. Btw, if Gordon asks for roasted meat one more time while he's standing in front of that meat, so help me my Deadeye is going to have some target practice on his arse. Please, for all that's holy and good, stop this bad design by not only fixing it, but making it a hero point so those who like it and it works for them can redo it. See how selfless I am? Just like a Asura trader, I am. Dear god, the dev who designed this needs some other job internally.
  5. Red zones ought to just load you back into then instance where you left off. Where they don't, they must. I was in Orr doing an instance where the group is trying to learn how the priests of Orr did things, and I got booted off the edge about 90% of the way through the instance. Dropped out of the instance completely, and had to redo the whole thing over. That is wrong design. It needs fixed. Enter a red zone by any circumstance? Reloads you into the instance automatically right where you left off. That's what would show us that devs understand they ought to get out of the player's way of getting shit done.
  6. Checkpoints in instances are mandatory in my opinion. Some of the Season 3 instances were obviously designed by raid devs or something and not solo friendly, and had way too many separate sections with zero checkpoints. Bug out or die continuously? Start over. Good luck sucker!
  7. I refuse to do this even one more time. It' doesn't work properly for me. Having to redo it with him chattering on and on before it starts, the timer is wonky, etc etc. I'd rather it were simply a hero point and let's leave nonsense like this out of the Mastery system.
  8. To be honest, if you spend 250 gold (in what is obviously anet's gemstore-to-gold scheme), you get to skip around as you like. In this particular game, no one loses when another player flies over your party battling a boss. Like a boss.
  9. 1) Too often dismounted, no need to dismount when speaking. No need for extra animations either. Just open dialogue panel.2) Mobs have extreme aggro range + significant mob density = dismount face planting personal hatred3) Deadeye rifle skills refuses to fire if mob isn't within narrow front cone; pistols seem to fire if the enemy is 180 degrees in front; need to be same4) Jump key = Deadeye kneeling ends as if pressing the skill key5) Thief character sometimes stops dead. Requires several movement key presses to get moving again. Random occurrence.6) Too bad so many things are clearly designed to be gemstore-to-gold transactions (griffon, jackal if no heart, etc etc etc)
  10. I didn't even know you could buy treats daily. Anet, we need some better feedback in game about this.
