agree with u my last comment to this topic personal i don't need gw3 i hope not gw2 to die im in the top 2% of gw2 player on gwefficency. my account value is crazy high with lots ap. i wish they could transfer the full game to unreal engine 5 and keep all stuff. now reality anet is a company they will do new products and gw3 will not let us keep our stuff. it will be best for anet to make money. and judging how gw2 content goes its already on minimal effort. we cant stop time and gw2 will be here at least 2 more years so no panic but stay realistic gw3 is on the way

point is anet already abandoned the expansion system at isb than ncsoft told them to do expansions again u can look up the game director of that time saying gw2 can be sustained without paid expansions thats btw why i believe ncsoft more when they say gw3 will happen than anet saying that they consider everything main focus bla bla bla in the end ncsoft pushes the buttons

first point is talked already time will tell second no ibs was not small bcs eod. it was small when released for free with no elites. anet was working on a game that time besides gw2 and it was said that ibs is the future way they want go. ( sounds familiar?) because anet rarely do as they say in the long term. been there done that many times over the years

next expansion theme will be something colorful. we have a lot cosmic theme stuff as outfits and weapons as well harvest tools. so probably something cosmic beings next. could those cosmic gods ask us to time travel and fix historic events? maybe it would be a good excuse for anet to reuse locations and game assets they already made. good for anet but maybe not so exciting for players. looking at all the replay lw story and replay expansion filler. we kind of doing time travel right now in gw2. as bonus events.

i like the idea anet will not do it. only way this can be fun implemented is baldurs gate 3 style. with a dice system.

ur idea is great but my guess will be some obsidian glass effects will be added and maybe some floating obsidian stones. i love ur idea but i know anet struggles with building new armors.

i have no idea why people try talking this away, we have devs who got job offers confirm that anet already work on gw3 for years, we have the ncsoft guy confirm they do gw3. we have a extrem drop in quality as we had with icebrood saga when they worked on a new game. and still people fight hands and feet to deny the obvious reality. we are literally playing gw2 now and people saying a gw3 will not happen. baffles my mind. i will be right on this as i predicted mounts and Soto story theme. people will doubt me as usual thats ok. instead of talking gw3 or not discussion should be how to do gw3.

no idea why people downvote u for facts. gw2 fans need stop to be so emotional quote from ncsoft +++ArenaNet has a meaningful IP called 'Guild Wars', and after Guild Wars 2, they are now making 'Guild Wars 3'. If you look at this process, it is quite competitive. It's not completely profitable, but I think it's been competitive+++

gw2 inc is already not good according to NCsoft so ur logic maybe not really apply here but lets see. i personal don't need gw3 and gw2 dying but im pretty sure they would not do the effort if not useful means profit for them. if u apply logic also apply reality

I liked the pip system. u could play a lot reach legendary rank every season. ofc its a lie and im not skillfull but it gave the feeling of success. imho gw2 took pvp to serious and that results in a lot bad mood. fun maps like skyhammer lost their unique mechanic anyway to late now. on the bright side it was worse once. remember when u could get a game with 9 bots

i read a lot comments and came to the conclusion that gw3 by abandon gw2 is a really high risk. many will quit gw entirely, some welcome a total new game. lets say ppl who full quit are the minority. lets say 30% thats a lot of money and loyal customer forever gone. than i looked at wow the game has no wow 2 instead it remastered itself many times. why wow did that is bcs loyal customers are the foundation of their game. gw2 remastered i think this is what really will happen. the game get transfered to unreal engine. all progress stays. it would explain why even they now already work on the new project they gave gw2 new systems like the relics. and what is probably the most successful part the Vault. it would be so risky if gw3 fails gw2 is done and gw2 is ncsofts stronges horse. also asking player to abandon by that time its ready 15 years of game progress. gw1 lifed half the time and i can imagine not everyone from gw1 came over to gw2. anet does not need to hurt a part of their player base. all gw2 problems coming down to old graphics and engine limitations. nobody needs to loose and anet will keep all player plus attract new ones. tltdr guildwars 2 get moved to unreal engine 5

simple solution keep playing gw2 like some gw1 player did the last 20 years. gw2 stays 12 more years besides gw3 easy. or buy gw3 and invite all ur friends to join
