If Soulbeast is that OP and require low effort to play then just jump on a Soulbeast and quit whatever you are playing, there is more than 1 character slot for a reason, btw Soulbeast is a dueling class like Thief, dueling class is designed to kill other classes in 1vs1 but would fare terribly for supporting or zerg play, would you rather have a Tempest to provide auras for 10 men in a zerg or a selfish Soulbeast? there is no such thing as balance in this game, its all about unique roles each class can fit in, Thieves and Soulbeasts are supposed to be oppressive to pick off single targets, if you play a class called "ranger" and can't kill anything from range what is the point of the class existing at all? Soulbeasts opted in for damage are extremely easy to kill, they dont have much condi cleanse, their burst is easily predictable, can be negated with passive traits that give evade, block, immune to crit or physical damage when below 50% health or just stealth , teleport out of range, line of sight. I guess a balanced Soulbeast is a Soulbeast deals only 10% of my health with Rapid Fire and One Wolf Pack when I run full berserker gear and this game can only be truly balanced when I can just kill any dueling classes on a supporting class? Seagulls can fly, lions have big fangs and claws, nature is not balanced, seagulls should have fangs and bigger claws and as big as a lion and can kill lions, wolves, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, now that is what I call balance.?
  2. If they remove evade on Dagger Storm and also make it no longer crit then you can make One Wolf Pack no longer crit. Mind you, you are comparing 2 insignificant traits (Pulmonary Impact and Mug) to a Gog Dam ELITE SKILL!!!, if it cant crit then OWP is worse than Impossible Odds which also gives superspeed on top and can be activated on demand with no cooldown. Dagger Storm is the skill that needs to be nerfed, Dagger Storm can evade and attack at the same time, cleave multiple targets, reflect projectiles, inflict cripple, bleed, increase movement speed by """""100%""""", can be enhanced to remove conditions( Trickster and Escapist's Fortitude ) which can also be enhanced with antitoxin runes to remove more conditions, this skill is absolutely LOADED, it can be used to counter projectile pressure, survive 1 shot burst, escape sticky situations like sonic, cleave downed enemies and noone can interrupt you, teabag people while spinning where One Wolf Pack at best you can only use to add some damage on top to burst down 1 enemy, you cant escape with it, cant tank cc with it, sometimes damage is not even enough with people running tank condi builds or block builds. LMAO ?.
  3. Why didnt I think of that?! I think he's talking about after the stomp lol...typically a stomp attempt like that would get that engi killed right after. Also, one stealth on the down is all it would have taken to make that engi to look really silly...then without this one extremely convenient and atypical clip what would you have...Yeah, I think he is pretty much a zergling noob that follows the zerg all day and will fight till his last breath to keep downed state, as you can see in his video, he ran pistol with 1 stunbreak vs a baby zerg that didnt even punish him after the stomp, further arguments with him would yield no result cuz he is obviously not even on the level of an average roamer to know what roamer type players have to deal with, he is in zerg all day, he just doesnt know anything else.
  4. No wonder some people cant secure stomps. Oh no I have to waste my cooldowns! How shall I ever fight? Yes, you are wasting your most valuable cooldown, Elixir S is your only stunbreak, real zerg would stun lock and pull/immo you to death, I dont know how good EU zergs are, but in the video it seems EU is not even easy mode, its baby mode.

Just a bunch of mediocre players left their pug behind to get stomped by an engi that maybe didn't even need to elixir invul to stomp, what are you supposed to show here?The context is me as a solo trying to clip some people off a dense and coordinated zerg that would hyper focus on their downs to insta ress, if that was shown in the video were a good zerg they would first stealth the downed player or necro port that player out, that downed player maybe not even in the squad for the commander to care about. The argument is definetly not going around in circles, you are just spinning around too much to notice it.

They are more skilled during no ds and we are more skilled during the 99 percent of the times there is no event no ds you become bag instantly, with ds you still become bag but takes a little longer, you died, you got downed, you are done, what "more skilled" you are talking about here? bag feeding skill? Oh so ds isn't an issue? You become a bag anyway? But I thought everyone was getting downed then rezzed? I explained to beepbeep. I'm talking about I have no issue securing the kill after downing someone which seems to be a skill because so many want this op ds to be removed so they must not be able to kill someone after downing themNo, it is an issue, yes you become bag anyway, but in small scale fights. Against big zerg fights, roamers getting someone downed is completely inconsequential thus taking fun out of the gamemode where bad players get carried, they can down as many times as they want to as long as their server's numbers game on top of other servers.

You should know that it doesn't matter how skilled someone is, you can't kill player getting ressed by a zerg, it takes like 3 seconds to stomp and they can fully heal the downed player in 1.2 secs, daredevil maybe the only class could cheese through that. I have no problem with stomping when there are 3-4 people around but it is definitely a big concern in big fights. And no this is not going around in circles, you are skilled and yes fully capable of fully killing someone in downed state but not with 50 people dropping aoe on top of you while you are stomping, stealth the downed, insta-ress in less than 2 secs or necro-port the downed out of the stomp. What you are saying is like" You are so strong, why dont you just lift 90000 elephants with your pinky finger?".

I wouldn't consider builds that can quickly defeat players bad builds, if its 1 on 1, once you are downed you are done, the same I could say for all you people that want downed state to stay, you could abuse all the "bad builds" that you so called, run heavy burst builds and still have allies to back you up since you outnumbered the opponents and turbo ressing all the players with "good builds" on the ground. If you are skilled (or dont have "bad builds") you wouldnt die in the first place and therefore no need of downed state, downed state is the easy mode for all those that want to stick with big zerg and expect to get carried once they get smashed, with no-downed state even if in a big zerg you have to worry about your gear(tanky enough to survive 1 shot burst?), skill rotation( block, evade, invul, protection, dmg and condi mitigation skills up time), positioning (no ressing so have to stay in bubbles or behind reflect walls, line of sight to avoid projectiles, with downedstate I can just run around all willy nilly, run zerk gear tank gear doesnt matter because there is always like 50 people ready to pick me up, no matter how many mistakes I made in that fight and how many times I got knocked down I would still get back up, how hard is that to do? Then again dont call builds that killed you many times, annoyed tf out of you, smacked you and your zerg up and down bad builds because they are clearly effective and caused severe emotional damage for people to hate these builds that much, you cant blame anyone but yourselves to fall prey to these builds, if you are indeed having a good build, why are you dying and why are you on the floor in need of downed state??? obviously contradicting yourself. Finally, "use less tactics overall", as if lying on the floor has more tactics involved? and "less risky", I think having another healthbar and can be ressed back up to full also be less risky.
  10. Anet can you put Cloudseeker's Red Cape on the gemstore? That thing looks really really good, it actually covers your whole back pretty decently, not like the capes you put out recently with so much holes in them and they are thin like paper, I want thick big capes that also cover the neck that would be MMMMMmhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

You should know that the devs are going for dark and foreboding atmosphere, Cthulhu style story telling, the sombre and gloomy color tones are important to strike dread into everyone's heart, imagine you play through the massacre of Vigils in Jora's Keep but with vibrant and colourful surroundings, it would be a joke, I would think I were at a circus and not somewhere people got their throats slit in the night and piled up into mound of corpses. Grothmar Valley is ugly btw, I like Bjora Marches and I hope the deeper we go in to confront Jormag the darker and more unforgiving the environment would be, walk on foot, no mounts, no mini map, everything is off the grid, cold wind keeps ticking your health down and you have to find refuge in abandoned Norn houses in the middle of the night, gosh it would be so good.

Great idea, it's impossible to defend keep when a dense zerg stacking on top of lord and you dont have enough people to penetrate, if anet add like 4 capture points at each corner and 1 at the center where lord is then it would be easier for the defenders to brawl out, definitely much more fun to play, a mighty keep falls when the enemies stack at the center just doesnt make sense, they will have to destroy other critical points as well, also add mini lords at mini capture points. This would prevent keep sniping cause they have to be everywhere to entirely capture the keep, not just by stealthily digging a hole through obscure gates and walls, people that are slacking and sleeping inside keep would have a higher chance to spot the perpetrators and people on other maps or outside keep would have a longer time window to react.

The very reason why people have to state their roles in T4s is for group performance, 4 people run full dps and 1 support to pulse out heal and quickness would be super decent, second is for time efficiency, nobody wants to have a 3 hour run with people dont know what they are doing, would be a horrible horrible nightmare, most just want to swing by and complete the Dailies-Recs in like 30mins. The fact that you didnt die in the boss encouter didnt mean you are a good player, it just that you are running a heavy condi tanking build with high health and sustain for yourself while doing next to no damage to the boss, other people if they run full dps to clear the boss as fast as possible, to save their time and do something else and dont have a proper support for survivability they gonna die. Its just simple as that, you are running a build that is self sufficient, high survivabily, others running to maximize the damage, they are squishy and easy to die, if you expect everyone to be like you, noone wants to have a specific role in the group, its gonna be a clown fiesta, you could clear T4s like one time now maybe because it was a good day with instabilities not so obnoxious to deal with and very likely you was dps-carried by the people that died and you just wiping up the rest, wait until you do Siren's Reef and get in party with people with same mindset like you, you gonna wipe dozen times over.
  14. I want my second pet as a soulbeast, please increase pet swap cooldown in combat as tradeoff dont remove access to second pet, keep soulbeast gameplay dynamic, versatile and spicy other than that Laying down the groundwork™ On the table™ Soon™ .
  15. Gw2 doing worse than BnS??? wtf!!!!!!!!, this is unbelievably sad. Its like a ghost town in BnS, people only exist in dungeon lobby and afk at fishing spot, mind boggling, things looking really really grim.

WvW, PvP fairly enjoyable, epic meta kind of contents like Modremoth fight and Drakkar, they are simply too epic I would do them million times over, what really lame about them are shitty rewards for the time you invested in just doesnt worth it. So I think it all comes down to the rewards for many, for me I care more about the experience, I want more bosses like Modremoth, Kralkatorrik fight I already forgot about all of it, nothing memorable, missed opportunity sadly.

As the preview on upcoming balance patch hit, Swoop on bird pets cooldown will be increased to 18 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, its nearly doubled, I dont see a reason to take a bird pet now(bird pets are also part of core pets) cause I only take it for catching up with classes with high mobility or to disengage when things go south, birds are useless for a straight up fight, they dont have cc like Smokescale, no huge damage like a Gazelle, no condi pressure like an Iboga, have a useless screech skill that only grants swiftness mid-fight and rangers have swiftness in all abundance, I would rather have them auto attack in a fight instead of using that bee-ess, they are slow and extremely squishy, that being said all things come down to another alternative for mobility, guess what it is the Rock Gazelle 's Charge, they even have daze on it and effect 5 targets at a discount, as everyone can also notice its an expansion pet. I love birds for their mobility and their mobility is the only thing they have to compete with expansion pets, and now you strip it away anet, please hurry up and make an update on Core Pets, I want to be able to enter stealth when merging with a Jaguar anet, please stop making core pets even more useless than they already are.

For the love of god, dont remove pet swap on soulbeast when in combat, however make the trait lines that work with pet swap to work on merge with pet as well, give players more options to work with instead of restricting them, if you want trade off, you could increase the pet swap cooldown in combat to 45 or 50 seconds, dont straight up deleting them, "deep bonding with a pet make them hate you when you choose another pokemon, so they take longer to return when you choose a new pokemon" here is lore justification, please keep pet swapping for soulbeast, I dont like dull and lazy gameplay with only one pet to dip in and out.   20. 300 secs on passive traits like Defy Pain or Final Shielding is just not the right path to go, people just gonna take something else and these traits will die out like Dune Cloak and Elusive Mind, if I play a mirage I would take Infinite Horizon every single time, this is just restricting the build diversity even more, consider rework on all of those traits to instead of making them completely negate all the damage for super long 300 secs cooldown to soaking up some of the damage like grant protection or barrier or new traits that reduce damage taken by 80% for 3 secs for a relatively short cooldown like 30 or 35 secs. This patch overall seems really barren and unhealthy, it is still just a number changing game instead of changing how a trait should work to fit a class's theme and a build's playstyle. 300 secs cooldown, people just gonna refuse to engage and wait until their cooldown is back on, WvW will be Wait vs Wait, hey you thief and mesmer procced my oneshot defense guess I gonna wait 300 secs or 5 minutes and then we will fight again, wvw gonna be even more boring and horrible if it is not pathetic enough at current state. The flow of the game mode gonna be badly damaged.

My thoughts: Increase Blink cooldown to 40 seconds, its still an easy getawayIncrease Mantra of Distraction cooldown to 25 seconds would be a lot more healthyPower Spike (from Mantra of Pain) now this is the real problem, I am surprised you didnt increase the cooldown on this to 5 or 8 seconds, its easily spammable, and even now stacking up to 12 stacks of vulnerability, I would confidently say that this is a buff to oneshot mesmer play style, the 8 secs to 6 secs is completely inconsequential because a good mesmer only need 1 to 2 seconds to burst someone down in that time window or he is not doing anything at all, now from 6 to 12 stacks of vulnerability,this gonna be in a whole more world of pain, when most passive traits that prevent oneshotting have been increased to 300 seconds cooldown, yep 300.Mirage Cloak: I am a bit confused on this, does it mean that Mirage Cloak is now a trait that you can take or you can just dont and have normal dodge on mirage and if you take the trait you only have one endurance bar?Please rework Druid, Chrono, buff Ele, and Renegade they are absolutely useless.
  22. Make build template free, unlimited amount of build templates one could have, refund anyone who bought it. Monetize equipment template only, increase maximum equipment templates to 30 [Drop-down list interface with search bar to easily navigate]. Link build template and equipment template to 1 single keybind so you dont need to press 2 buttons to change build(kinda annoying). On screen templates table contains lists of build templates and equipment templates for those having over 100 builds for each specific situation for their characters and cant bother to keybind every single of them that you can switch to by manually selecting 2. Capability of assigning keybinds for weapon skills, healing utility elite skills, profession skills directly onto each of unique build templates, differentiate from template to template making it easier to play multiple classes without having to change keybinds everytime, also each different template should remember the auto-cast on skill in that specific template. Capability of tagging a specific template that will load automatically when you hop into certain game mode, example a template with pvp tag will always load automatically when you jump into pvp. When swapping template the notification should be [[[Template [ Name ] Activated]]] intead of what it currently is right now, I dont know what is the point of naming template when you dont know what the kitten you swapped to. Thats pretty much all Im having problems with right now, I think making the build template free right now is beyond impossible but anyway just want to put my thoughts out there of what it should have been to begin with, hope someone with the power to make a change would read this or as always will be ignored in the forums dark deep abyss when majority of the people are on reddit right now.

Can we have keybinds change for weapon skills, utility skills, healing skills, elite skills, pet swap, profession skills that will set to each individual of them based on the keybinds in the template you assigned, I dont want to change the keybinds manually everytime when I play a different class. also templates should remember the auto-cast on skills on each of different templates.

I thought the "At release, each template tab will have its own key bind" means that each weapon skill and utility skill keybinds will be changed when you swap template, but its just a SWITCH button to quickly swap. Omg quite disappointing tbh. Can we have real keybinds change: weapon skills, utility skills, healing skills, elite skills, pet swap, profession skills keybinds that will set to each of them based on the keybinds in the template you assigned, setting the keybinds manually everytime is such a pain in the choya mouth especially when playing multiple classes, this is fairly underwhelming.
