  1. I'm surprised they didn't add any with the last Four Winds Festival. They even had an artpiece of various swimsuits for male and female characters.
  2. Yeah, I'd rather it just grant stability whilst inside shroud. Make the interval every 2 seconds.
  3. Currently the only way to do this is via Squad message, which can be copy/pasted.
  4. I managed it on my reaper, but it did make me think "I should have used my thief" afterwards.
  5. It's nice that they don't have to pluck nostalgia strings for it. I mean every raid up until now has been gw1 related. They should really cut the umbilical cord and make them purely gw2 related.
  6. It doesn't even need a total revamp (though revamps are fun). If the projectile was just reliable, it would be fine. Add homing to the projectile and make it so it will always bounce to a foe after an ally (so you don't get those annoying 1 instance of damage when against a single target with multiple allies around). Also change regen to Fury, Might or Quickness.
  7. Ironically that would work out just fine since Kamas and Sickles exists. I’m sure they can be handled with a reverse grip. There's a Luxon dagger skins that uses reverse grip, Dragon Kama Skin.So we have scythe staffs, scythe daggers. I think we could do with scythe greatswords.
  8. noty. I would want shroud cd reduction available to core. my top 3 are:revert plaguebuff dagger auto dmgoverhaul core shroud SoS never really had an effect on core in the same way it did reaper.
  9. Don't revert speed of shadows. Just add the shroud reduction to Shroud Knight (reaper 1st minor trait - that also has the degen increase). Degen would be fine if the above idea was implemented. Only focus 4 needs changing. 5 is perfect as it is. Either make the missile homing and speed up the velocity. Or revamp as with guardian focus 4.
  10. I like that necromancer doesn't get a mention. Its representative isnt it? Yup, I'm still bitter necro didn't get the focus 4 rework that guardian got.
  11. I like that necromancer doesn't get a mention.
  12. For open world it's fine. For raids and fractals it lacks focus when consistent damage is required or potent support. The staff lacks both. Raids and fractals have horribly narrow requirements though.
  13. It's like with Braham. I feel he was pretty well written what with his strained relationship with his mother, then beginning to have a healthy relationship with her again only for her to be snatched away by the Mordrem. And the pressure to live up to his mother's legend. As if anyone, within this setting in their 20s, would act reasonable after this happened. But yet people skritt all over him for acting unreasonable.
  14. Probably people seeing the bit about it possibly being a perma change but not necessarily.
  15. So my "no elite specs" weekend idea is seen as exclusionary but this isn't? Those other mechanics aren't the class mechanic for the elite spec. You know how Druid has Celestial Avatar and Spellbreaker has Full Counter, and Reaper has Reaper Shroud, Daredevil has a 3rd dodge, etc etc. Yeah, Scrapper has Function Gyro. That's not just a "little thing". That's it's main mechanic. People forget that because it's so useless most of the time. Function Gyro is a mechanic of scrapper, sure. But its main mechanic? Something with the functionality to be compared to Celestial Avatar, Full Counter, or Reaper Shroud? With zero major traits in the Scrapper line to enhance Function Gyro, I'd have to say no. @Shadowcat.2680 This was taken straight from the GW2 Wiki Page... "Scrapper's mechanic is the Function Gyro that grants the ability to use the function key (default F) to revive allies or finish foes from a distance." That's about as cut and dry as it gets. You probably haven't played scrapper to trivialize the importance of function gyro... Function Gyro is not trivial when it comes to downstate gameplay. Not at all. But all such gameplay will be removed with this event. As far as gameplay for this event goes, Scrapper will suffer only in that Decisive Renown will become useless. The same could be said of any trait related to downstate. There's a few across various professions that will all be meaningless for this event. I don't like this event. I don't like Anet's decisions with engineer overall. But calling this event debilitating for scrapper because of the loss of Function Gyro when no professions will have their downstate gameplay/traits is calling a drizzle a blizzard. Bruh you’re missing the point again...THERE’S NO OTHER SPEC WHOSE UNIQUE MECHANIC IS SOLELY BASED ON STOMPING OR REZZING... Functionally, this affects scrappers more than any spec, period. Sure, other classes have downstate traits but none like scrapper. A better approach wouldve been trying a weekend where the temporary invulnerability on down is removed and/or and/or removing the rally mechanic and/or speeding up stomps by like 25%. I'd love if the temp invuln on down and up was removed permanently.
  16. And add a rabbit pet too and call it the B U N N Y T H U M P E R!
  17. It would also be nice to actually have a main hand weapon for once. And sword is arguably the most pleasing main hand weapon when it comes to good looking skins.
  18. +10 feels like +33%.But if it stacks with other sources, that makes sense as I was in the +25% guild aura at keep.
  19. Absolutely not. Having our guild mes pull siege humpers from the walls into our waiting bomb is oh so satisfying.
  20. With the new Elonian Elementalist outfit, I really wish we had the ability to toggle certain pieces of the outfit by way of the shoulder toggle. The ribbons on the female version really put me off buying it. To name a few others: The Imperial outfit: the funny wing things on your back.Raiment of the Lich: the feathery shoulder pieces.Primeval Dervish: the collar.Dynamics Exo-Suit: the holograms.edit: First Follower Desmina: the timelord-esque piece on the male version. Horrible clipping with the current hairstyle my ele has.List any other pieces you would toggle, if you had this ability.
  21. Pfft. That's all just Charr propaganda. It has always belonged to the humans and will be once again. DEATH TO THE FALSE RULERS!
  22. There was a "hack" in which you could activate the first strike of the auto and then sheath your weapon before activating it again. It was hard to do but if successful, you could hit a foe far quicker than normal. Possibly the reason they changed it.
  23. I don't think I've ever seen a scourge use anything except Sand Savant in wvw. It's too kitten good. Wrong. Plenty of scourges don't use it because giving up demonic lore is just too much of a hit to their damage. Sure, some complain it's too hard to target players with the smaller radius of the regular sand shades, blah blah. L2P issue.I mean if you're talking roaming then maybe. But in a 20+ zerg fight, the constant movement and thus need to re-setup your shades means the reduced recharge from sand savant is a must. And then the added extra targets and larger area go without say.
  24. I don't think I've ever seen a scourge use anything except Sand Savant in wvw. It's too damn good.
