  1. i feel yah, had 2 bots on my team, at least 1 of them knew how to leave spawn.
  2. Im still waiting on yall to revert the chrono shatter changes. That is and will always be the most stupid descission ive ever seen a company make for a class, your genuinly making the class close to useless in both PvP and WvW, as for PvE, its barely noticeable so i dont understand what in the world made yall screw over a spec that much.

Hey! so ive done EVERYTHING in the "Gourmet Training" achievment except from the final few steps in the Sylvari line of things, more specifically, i never got the recipie to craft the portable composter... (Pic for "proof" https://imgur.com/IKIbSDH ) Ive already tried talking to every NPC i can think off, googled a lot and checked the forums not just once but twice, any help appreciated and a potentional fix even more appreciated.

  7. Don't you think this refusal to fight has something to do with the vastly different power levels? I mean, if I see our typical zerg with high tendencies for clouding trying to tackle a full fight zerg on a server with more tight focus on fights several times and fall apart upon first touch of the enemy zones, if I watch the enemy zerg sustain through our bomb without noteable damage, what would you expect people to do? Keep running into this fight, that you cannot take, that you get nothing out of - hell, if things run that badly, many people are not even getting participation. I do realize that this has a lot to do with L2P - but these large-scale issues have a lot to do with overall player and mindset structure on the whole server, it has to do with server population in WvW and with the guilds active in WvW. These are things, that you cannot change over a short time, possibly not at all. So if you get nothing out of these fights, no lootbag, no participation, no feeling of success, what else is there to do, but PPT? This is why I keep re-iterating that WvW needs some kind of handicap system. Yes and no, i agree that there needs to be a "carrot" for the people who continue to go around and just get their asses handed to them but adding a "boss" that helps to take objectives i dont see being a solution, if anything it could cause more issues. I fully agree there needs to be something for the less fortunate people but i have to say imo this isnt it.
  8. ty for ur answer. Ive seen so many times when a commander requires to bring "meta" classes to the zerg. I bet each class has something good to offer to the servers but most of them get ditched because they are not mindless scourges that just have to press f1 and staff 2, 3, 4, 5 and all enemies dead. I feel scared when ANet announce a "class balance" because it means nerfs. As a mesmer ive never seen any comander to ask for a chrono or a mirage on the team chat :disappointed: I wonder if u are so kind to share a good "zerg" build, please. Thank you. Send me a message here on the forums and il share with you my personal build that I run and get to do all types of content with ease as. And commanders don't ask specifically for mesmers because as mentioned, usually every guild has 1 or 2 dedicated mesmers and you don't need a lot of them so they ask for classes they need instead most of the time but Mesmer is very much a meta class and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! :) i dont know how to send private messages on the forum :anguished: Sent you one :)

  10. Unfortunatly the 'good defense' means building Infinite ac's on what i see most of the time It wouldn't be WvW without 20 AC's ;)
  11. Mesmer is in a good place for what the class does, it's utility focused and the amount of utility it brings is quite good, mass invis, portal, illusion of life, stability + more. Even for roaming the class is good as it has mobility and high damage potentional. It's a class you can easily fuck up on and pay for it with your life but it's definitely not a class that's been nerfed into the ground. As a Mesmer main I agree buffs would be lovely but in reality they are far from in a bad place currently. Edit1: I've never had any issue what so ever being invited into groups running around as a Mesmer (Chronomancer built around utility) simply because of what a Mesmer can do. It's true most groups want other classes but it's simply because quite often if not always groups have their already selected guild Mesmer who they trust and know.
  12. Like using 500+ supplies and trying to outsustain ACs, trebs and other aoes from freecasters? Shield generators, Mesmer pulls, scourge / revenant to keep walls hot, Fireband with their retal and bubbles + scrappers doing scrapper things. If you spend 500+ taking a single objective your doing something very very wrong considering most people spend 500 to take a T3 keep.
  13. Thats FPS drop, which is client side, not server side. Skill lag is felt across the whole map, you can be at spawn and the fight is going on in SMC and still have 5 seconds of skill lag. Didn't know fps drops caused 15+ people to get skill lag and in general terrible lag, ey, the more you know I guess :)
  14. I love how you can know if the enemy has a large amount of players simply by the lagspike you get when you come close :)

  17. you cant lump everyone together and expect it to be factual. there are those who wouldn't push out no matter what, as i'm sure there are plenty of people who would. There defenetly are those who won't push no matter what which is why I made sure to mention at the start that "the people who won't even defend their objectives" so as to not make everyone into one group and instead keep them split up. You have those who fight and you have those who dont, that's just how the game is these days. Adding a objective the outnumbered forces can benefit from could easily cause a issue if it's not balanced correctly and with how Anet has done their balancing so far it's not looking too bright. It's a good idea on paper but it's not something I realisticly see being added to wvw anytime soon.
  18. Yes, it is bad that groups only focused on PPT refuse to fight, which is the idea behind creating an event that incentivizes fights. When you say "adding more PvE" without explaining what you mean by "PvE" leaves an open-ended statement. By your definition even keep lords are PvE, which we know they are not since they exist as part of the objective's capture mechanics and objectives are expressly designed to be fought over by players (I.E. there are no automated NPCS that attempt to take an objective without players). I get your point but you have to take into consideration the fact that people who won't even fight to defend their objectives unless they have tons of siege really won't start fighting more simply because they can get help from a npc to take objectives. Besides, adding something like this for the outnumbered group to get won't change much, they will still get blobbed down and simply loose even more motivation to fight as they have just spent x amount of time just to get the thing so they can try take something.
  19. With the way Gates and walls got their hp nerfed I don't see the need to change things as far as siege goes. If you can't afford building 2 shield generators and keep switching bubbles you probably don't deserve to take over the things your trying to break in to :p
  20. I don't have a problem tagging enemies what so ever playing firebrand. Retal and tome 1 does all the tagging I need to be doing for me.
  21. If you want PvE go to PvE gamemodes. Its already bad enough with the groups only focused on PPT that refuse to fight so adding even more PvE would just make things worse.
  22. You can't force people to fight, you can nerf siege as much as you want but it won't change the fact certain servers and certain groups won't fight no matter what.
  23. Firebrand, Scrapper and Tempest are tbh the only viable ones. Scrappers are always welcome now because of their stealth field and cleanse etc.
