  1. Yes at least for these events, supportive playstyle isnt harmed in that way as you can get event participation by just hitting once. Dps doesnt matter and you can still buff players near you while hitting the mob and not standing afk in the far distance.
  2. I agree with you here. I dont see the bauble farm as a problem, however i do see a problem in afk farming. Which is something most ppl do in VB bauble farm. Just to list it here, in case a dev is reading through... in this afk farm, ppl are using herald to permanently buff other players and therefore get the event participation and also the loot while not actively "playing" the game. To fix the problem in Verdant Brink my suggestion is, that you remove event participation just from buffing other players. (Maybe you can limit that down to just these kind of events, if that would cause problems elsewhere) But that would at least stop the afk farming in VB while still letting ppl farm baubles as long as they hit the mob once. (aka are actively farming/playing the game) And if you do believe, that is not enough, i would also let the event scale up. (Mob isnt dying too fast -> farm is getting a little slower) Atm you more or less just dismount and the veteran is dead. These are my thoughts.
  3. It got said multiple times before already but i have the same opinion Gear/Build Slots are way way tooo expensive. 1 Char Slot is more worth buying than the "templates". Make them cheaper Legendary Gear feels really useless with the Geartemplate. I have to use an extra Gearslot if i want to use other stats on my Legendary gear. (If I dont want to change my current gear stats) That just feels wrong in every way. Ascended gear is cheaper and even better now as it doesnt waste inventory Slots anymore. One main reason someone would go for legendary gear before. Would be better to use 1 Gearslot and just "save" my diffrent gearstats e.g healing power condi. That way Legendary Gear would have something unique again as its just not usefull like it is right nowA "save" Option would generally be nice as every Change im doing with my current build is getting saved. When i want to swap back these changes i made before are still there (but what if i made these changes only for a specific Moment and i want to swap back to my "main base build"? … I have to swap everthing back again...)Let PvP/WvW/PvE Builds save/load for these gamemodes like we had before, so we dont need to swap gear/build manually to our WvW Build (shouldt be much coding work as we had that one already before in a simillar way)Atm and honest answere im more disappointed than happy about how Build/gear "templates" work. Sure the fast loading everywhere and the free inventory space is indeed a nice Thing but especially the Problem with Legendarys hit me hard combined with everything else not much more to say - disappointed :/
  4. Hey Guys, TLDR; Title The minor Grandmastertrait "Hardy Contuit" makes our protection stronger, from the "base" 33% up to 40%."Overloads grant protection. Protection gains increased damage reduction"However if you cast Earth overload, the Boon only shows -33% incomming dmg reduction.Be aware that the skill itself when you wonna read more about it shows the 40% correctly but it gives you only 33%Same goes for all Shouts and Auras, if you have the "Elemental Shielding" traited (in Earth Traitline)"Auras you grant to allies also grant protection."In the Traitline, the Trait shows the -40% incomming dmg reduction, but no e.g fireaura etc is affected. Edit: Aftershock! and Sand Squall only gives 33% as well. Pl have a look into this thx!

I like the Idea of a Dolphin mount underwater more than some others.Just cuz i can imagine the Dolphin to be actually fastWe got Griffon for fast travelling in the air.We got Rollerbeetle for fast travelling on land. (depends on territory ik but you know what i mean)And Dolphin would be for fast travelling underwarter.Here you can implement similar mechanics like we have on griffon.Dive down = gain speed, Dive up loose speedYour endurance bar would give you a boost like the Roler Beetle so you also have the option to dive up fast or just for reaching you max speed underwater quickerWith your speed you would also be able to jump out of water (this would actually be really cool imo)
  6. I can tell you already that this thread will be moved to the Raid/Fractal subforum. Idk why you havent posted it there tbh xDNow to your topic:Many experienced Raiders already help out in "normal" Mode and it mostly works out fine. Especially the first 4 Wings aren´t really hard.As for now - I dont really see any need for this mode.Just take VG as an example ... just run green for beginners and your fine ... nothing can oneshot you there. You still will learn, you dont need meta builds you have "endless" time for the kill.
  7. I also started legendary trinkets as a goal ... Aurora Vision and Coalescence are out by now and we can expect 2 more trinkets comming out in the future.First I didnt want Aurora. Too much effort going all through these Collections, but as I saw the combined look with Vision I wanted to both.(Atm I dont really like the combined look of Coal + Aurora + Vision but thats just my opinion. Hope it will look better for me when the other missing legendary trinkets are out)Meanwhile I have Aurora (took 3 Weeks cuz of the Runestone daily cap) and sitting on Coalescence right now (almost done)Coal might not be your thing as you need to clear at least Raid Wing 5 + 6 + 7 for it (for the first collections cleared wings work fine as well if i can remember correctly here - that doesnt count for the last collection which requieres you to clear the 3 Bosses of W7)But maybe doing Raids for the trinket would also be a motivation? Getting closer to Benchmark DPS and perform Raids? Skyscale and Vision will both keep you busy for awhile as well. Skyscale is timegated btw. IF you make Legendary Trinkets to your goal you might need to farm Gold as well which - again, will keep you busy.Just a little simple math:250*3 Mystic Coins ~1107g250 (Coal)+100(Vision) Funerary Incense ~672gWith just these things you would almost cap 2k gold WITHOUT T6 Mats and all the other stuff you need.
  8. Is it just me or is anyone else also annoyed of the Aggro Range of the Mobs when you want to talk to Glenna in the Pre Event?You can talk to Glenna and buy/sell Stuff without clearing the Wing. However, you constantly pull Mobs (ofc without actually attacking them)Can we either place Glenna somehwere else, without pulling everthing or change the Aggro of the Mobs spawning in the first "circle" ?Might be a minor thing, but also the first thing you notice when you enter the Wing (and imo annoying as said D:)
  9. I dont think that many Guild Halls are possible :)You would also need to find space for each on the Map ... I mean I like the themed Idea ... but guess its not possible/ wont happen. These are some well thought out ideas i like them

Btw. "I didnt see this one on the known issue tracker either." - same for me.There are some "hits" about Mountbugs (Springer to high, crash on skimmer etc.) but nothing that adresses this Bug

I have another Account on Dzagonur and it happens there as well (seems not serverbounded)2./3. The "Rule" from 1. goes along here as well. Doesnt matter. Soulbeast Mirage, Spellbreaker, Daredevil …. happened to all. Cant say if the Bug is Profession related but i guess not and it defnitly happens to various characters.Let me give you some further Information. "When this Bug happens most?"Through my own experiences i would say it happens the most after you teleported to a waypoint and want to mount up afterwards. (Map loaded, Charakter loaded already etc) But when you mount up …"The raptor when the bug occurs will be invisible and your camera field will freeze. You can see your character icon move on the mini-map, but you do not move on your screen. After a few minutes the screen will quickly update to your Position" - PolarTitan.8519The Diffrence between his/her experience and mine is that my camera never got messed up etc.The Bug also occurs often when Meta Events are going on. You can see that i moved on the Minimap, but my Charakter (Soulbeast in this Case) is stuck on her invisible mount. I can only speak for the Raptor Bug, i dont use the other Mounts that often. Further further Information :astonished:Can only speak for myself now. When you are in the Buganimation, you already moved while the Bug is active (you can see that on the minimap) and then you decide to leave your mount, you get "teleported" back where you mount up. You can only watch this on the minimap since your Charakter is somewhat frozen on its invisible mount(I could still turn my camera around to make that fancy screenshot ;D). If you are lucky you can move around normaly after you left your mount in the Buganimation BUT it can happen that you get stuck in the Ground. (I even fell through the Bridge under Tarir when I wanted to loot all the chests) I hope this Bug get solved as fast as possible. Its really annoying when you can (finally ) use Mounts but everytime you mount up your facing this Bug. Hope I could help you o/

Im still looking for a written Rotation there, with pressing 5111151111 and doing more dmg then weaver going creazy with all skills used and attunement swaps which also must be well timed. Many others already said it. The Dmg output from weaver is NOT good. It just ... feels not really rewarding for doing such a complex rotation.Other classes have more space for fails inside their Rotation while Ele has not. Ele has a fast timed Rotation and lose much dps if you are failing.Other Classes are just better overall, for doing massiv dmg while bring tons of CC with you and have more sustain.Ele doesnt compensate the lack of low CC or surviveability in terms of Dmg. I rarely play PvP, but ...correct me if im wrong, power weaver/Ele/Tempest is nonexisting there? Good luck with power 12k Hp running in Condi Bomb and stay perma watter attuned D:I only see tanky healing weavers etc. cause other options arnt viable. I also like the other Ideas that were already said (Conjure, Aura changes etc) wont say more about these because i share their ideas.Just wanted to emphasize the bad state Ele is in.
  13. Will there be a new Tag or Symbole or anything that let other ppl know you are in an alliance ? (enemys as ppl on ur world)EDIT: Will there be a place where alliances can fight each other ? That would mean u can (max.) fight 1000 vs 1000 pll if the cap for 1 Alliance is 1000 as mentioned before. That would be a mess but kinda cool ^^
