Let's be clear, the Alliances idea came about as a solution to chronic NA server stacking; a problem that was and is comparitively minor on EU servers. In NA, new ways to stack will be exploited, in EU, what's left of server based communities will be further threatened. At reset last night on Gandara, so many players expressed thier joy & relief at being re-united with their friends after just 7 days, imagine what 2 months would be like. Trial it on NA servers. If it doesn't turn out to be a waste of time, then fine, stick the rest of us with it too.

Maybe the one from NE camp, green border, could sprint out to garri occasionaly & boot the stuck dolly through the SE gate?

Year after year after year I see people posting this kind of thing in all sorts of WvW threads. Back in 2015 they'd mention upcoming games that'd "beat" GW2 wvw, most of which have appeared and disappeared in the last 4 years. Why do you feel compelled to spread your life sucking negativity everywhere. If it's dead, you're not playing it. Goodbye & thanks for all the pish.

Got my second account to have a choice of WvW matchups at a time when my main server was toxic. It was either that, move servers or stop playing WvW altogether. Now I go on whichever has a more interesting matchup that week, or whichever does not have Red as home border.

Once upon a time there were next to no rewards in WvW. People played because they enjoyed it; whether scouting, roaming, raiding or zerging. Or some of each, like me. Seems to me, the more rewards that ANet has introduced into the game mode, the more people are complaining about the reward structure. How about we go back to no rewards, and you pay gold for upgrades again. I was fine with that. If it's etherial bits of crap that makes people still play then WvW might as well die anyway. And, ANet, let's have another tournament, show these bling obsessed, safe-space, snowflake, #givemethingsforever, Millennials what WvW is really all about. It's suffering btw. But in a good way. Like life.

Seems to me like a global solution to what is much more of an NA problem. I'm one of those old fashioned types who stayed with the same server since launch. I might play later & longer (and have more fun) because Gandara Garrisson is under threat. I'm not sure that insert generic name here Garrisson is going to motivate me in the same way. Nope, I'm absolutely sure it won't. Maybe the majority of WvWers feel differently but, for the sake of the rest of us, how about trialling the new system in NA for 6 months first and leave EU as it is?
