  1. It is as Tom says, it is a buff you get when you start doing the heart requests during the SotO story step "Mother of Stars".
  2. If you checked the blogpost linked in the Roadmap, you'd read about " the return of bonus events similar to those we ran in the wake of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons™." Which were the Fractal Rush, the Skritt hunt, and upcoming other stuff. As many said, the roadmap says * Halloween * Bonus events Not "Halloween bonus events"
  3. Yeah, apparently the merchant from there was removed but can be now found at Fort Marriner right next to the waypoint, or at the Inner Harbor (The wedding island).
  4. It is the chestpiece from the Acolyte armor set. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Acolyte_armor
  5. You can only get it on your first completion of the week, so if you have already completed the strike this week you cannot drop it and have to wait for the weekly reset.
  6. That's because the stone form is technically just an infusion aura applied to NPCs, and afaik there is one setting in Options that makes auras bugged on interaction and shows the npcs or players without it. I have seen it multiple times myself.
  7. You get one for completing the Decade of the Dragons achievements. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Decade_of_the_Dragons#achievement6735
  8. There are multiple notes and dialogue like this, about various places. One includes the Kirin Peak in Cantha. Nayos is imho the most logical choice considering the story.
  9. Except Anet doesn't count it as a "map" but always calls it an outpost. It was advertised there would be 2 maps on launch + one outpost, and one additional map via post-launch releases for SotO.
  10. Please note: * If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it. This is a text you get when you are about to submit an edit. It's a very good advice. And Inculpatus already linked the project's page, but yes, the rewards come from ArenaNet.
  11. It is only used for the Beta Tester achievement in the second story instance, otherwise you can delete it. If it is needed in the future, it's been confirmed you can reobtain the gizmo from Eye of the North.
  12. It never "looked" like that, they outright said you need to complete the new collection to get the skin. > After you complete the Flight Training Mastery line and the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure skyscale collection, a new collection will open up that awards a Kryptis-themed skyscale skin. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/soaring-with-the-skyscale/
  13. Yeah, while the Celtic naming convention happens a lot, it is absolutely not a requirement and definitely not a pure lore thing. Just have a look at the sylvari npcs, and you will find plenty of those that do not fit it. Being named after plants goes waaay back to the core game. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Category:Sylvari
  14. Yes, Anet confirmed you will be able to use weapons even from elites of expansions you do not own. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/combat-in-guild-wars-2-secrets-of-the-obscure/
